It was..what was it called again? Candy? Yeah, that's what Tsukumo called it, how it could it be so enticing and exciting to see? Nai watched curiously as Gareki, who sat across from him in the library, a book in his hands and his feet propped on the desk, a bowl a foil wrapped chocolates sitting beside his feet, Nai took notice as Gareki would reach for the bowl, pick a piece out and unwrap it, carelessly popping it into his mouth, all while never taking his eyes off of his book.

Nai wondered what was so interesting about this particuliar piece of candy that kept his friend going back for more. Suddenly, Nai wanted to taste them. Karoku never gave him candy, always told him it was bad for you and that people like Nai didn't eat those kinds of things, Nai never understood what he meant, but he always complied with Karoku, despite what he thought.

Gareki seemed to notice the Niji's gaze.

"Yes? he asked as he turned a page, Nai, who had been leaning across their shared table ever so slightly reared back in startlemeant.

"Uh..Gareki, what're those?" He asked, pointing to the bowl.

Looking up from his book, Gareki's eyes trailed down to the candy.

"The chocolates?" Nai nodded.

"They're called Kisses, ever had one?" Nai shook his head, Gareki sighed, rolling his eyes. He sat up propperly, feet on the ground, book sat beside the bowl, a piece of paper sticking out of it, marking his spot.

Gareki smirked and pushed the bowl over to Nai, "Want one?" Nai nodded enthusiastically. "Can I?"

Too cute

"Duh, idiot, why would I ask if you couldn't?" Gareki said irritatedly, sometimes the kid could ask really stupid questions.

Nai shruged his shoulders' cutely, his crimson eyes gleaming innocently. Gareki felt his heart melt at this sight.

Stupid Idiot

Nai reached in the bowl and pulled a piece out, he carefully unwrapped the foil and smelled of the chocolate first, curiously, it smelled like heaven, he wondered if it tasted that way.

Nai slowly took a bite, closing his eyes slowly, the boy truly did feel like he was in heaven and it was so so good, the boy had no words for this type of ecstasy he was tasting.

Gareki watched with amausemeant, showing the boy new things always did excite him, always curious to see his reaction.

Nai moaned as he ate the whole piece and Gareki had to stifle his laughter as the boy's eyes shot open at the noise he made. "I..I've never made that noise before.." He observed.

"It's a good noise, Nai. It means you liked it." Nai smiled and nodded cutely. When he reacted like this sometimes it was too much for Gareki to handle, thus causng his mouth to speak before his brain could shut him down.

"You want another one?" He asked, not meaning the candy at all. Nai nodded again, a contented look on his face, Gareki pushed the bowl of candy to the side and leaned over the table with his arms folded to his chest.

Nai looked at him confused as their lips neared each others'

Gareki closed the distance in a soft kiss.

Nai's eyes widened and his body tenesed in surpirse, momentarily, before relaxing against his raven-haired friend. His eyes fluttered closed as he melted into the kiss, Gareki tasted just like chocolate, Nai had to admit this was his new favorite flavor.

Author's note: The idea for this story came when I was watching Walker Texas Ranger while eating Hershy's kisses...My muse is strange..
