So the idea is that BF5 (Only Vert, Agura, Sherman, Spinner, Zoom and Stanford) get suddenly stuck on some sort of zone. They are then knocked out and kidnapped by some strange being.

Sage, Tezz and AJ managed to find them but…they're not the same anymore.

The being who kidnapped them was an some sort of scientist who somehow got a bunch of ghoul organs and replaced some of the BF5's organs with that organs. The scientist is then viciously killed by the newly half BF5 almost killed Tezz and AJ though they are able to come to their senses.

Sage managed to create a type of pill for them so that they don't need to eat human meat, though it only works for only every 4 hours.

They are pretty much horrified of what they've become, and mostly avoid their fully human friends in fear of hurting them.

They don't use their kagune either, not even in missions…until they become separated and stuck with one of the Red sentients that is… (Vert is stuck with Krytus, Agura with Kyburi, Zoom with Kryten, Spinner and Sherman with Krylox and Stanford with Kryosys)

They form a shaky truce to survive in the new hostile zone, the BF5 are panicked and a bit fearful since they lost their pills and that the ones that inhabit the zone are a good substitute for human meat…
