Chapter 6:
The Meet-up

Natsu's POV

"You really are an idiot, you know that?"

"Shut up, Grey! Just help me look for her!"

We were walking around Magnolia, trying to find Luna, or Lucy as she was known in-game. Grey had agreed to help as he wanted to see if she was real or not.

"She got blonde hair in a ponytail? Is it that girl?" He pointed at a random blonde girl.

"No! Stop pointing at random people!"

"Dude! I don't even know what she looks like, all you told me was that she was blonde, that is like half of all the girls in-game!"

"Shut up! I'll know her when I see her!"

"Why not just go on a quest instead? The last Summer Quests have been posted, I'd like to get them done before school starts again!"

"Then go and do that! I'll find her on my own!" I stormed off.

"You know I need a party of four to do the quests!" Grey yelled as he caught up to me. "Erza is off doing her usual farming and no one everyone else is too busy with the upcoming Guild Wars! I need your help man!"

"Then help me find Lucy! She's above lv 30, she'll be a great help!"

"Didn't you reach lv 31 just a few days ago? You grinded some event boss, that monkey boss in the mountains!"

"Yeah, a fucking waste of my time. If I had gone on a party quest I would have gotten twice the amount of XP I got from that damn monkey!"

"So you are looking for this Lucy-girl to form a party with her?"

"I want her to join Fairy Tail! I told you this already!"

"Sorry, I have a hard time listening to your bs!"

I sighed. I liked Grey but he could be such a pain in the ass. He was way more outgoing in-game than he was IRL. In school we hung out with the rest of the high schoolers from FT, but Grey was always quiet and laid back.

"Isn't that her?" Grey pointed at another girl, and for once he was right. It was Lucy.

The cute girl with blonde hair in a ponytail, with a blue and white top and a black skirt.

"Yeah, that's her!" I told him.

I ran up to Lucy and called out her name.

"Hey! Lucy!"

She turned around and smiled when she saw me.

"Natsu! Hey!"

"Finally found you! I've been looking for you forever!" I told her.

"I didn't mean to make you look for me!" Lucy blushed.

"It's fine, Magnolia is a big town. Finding anyone would take time!"

"How did you even know you could find me here?" She asked.

"I told you that you could join Fairy Tail. Well, Fairy Tail is in Magnolia. So you have to go to Magnolia to get to Fairy Tail."

"But if she was coming to Fairy Tail anyway, why did you go looking for her?" Grey asked. "Hi, I'm Grey Fullbuster!"

"Lucy Heartfilia!" They shook hands and Grey turned to me.

"You are an idiot, Natsu!" He told me. "We could have waited at the guild! She was coming to us anyway!"

"I wanted to make sure she didn't get lost!" I argued.

"She has a map, just like you and me! Every guild hall is marked on the map! You should know this!"

"There is no need to argue…" Lucy tried to step in and stop us, but me and Grey could only be stopped by a select few.

"Are they arguing again? And in front of a girl too, how typical…"

"ERZA!" Me and Grey got so scared that we almost jumped up high.

"I hope they didn't cause you any trouble!" Erza told Lucy. "Hi, I'm Erza Scarlet!"

"H-hi! I'm Lucy Heartfilia!"

"Nice to meet you! Natsu has told me a lot about you!"

"Has he now?"

Lucy glared at me and I did my best to act natural.

"I heard that you wish to join Fairy Tail!" Erza said.

"Yeah… I hope it's not inconvenient…" Lucy seemed really scared, she was worried that she would not be accepted. Well, she was wrong!

"No worries, we welcome all members! We have smaller side-guilds all over the map! But this is the heart of Fairy Tail! And if I know our Master right, which I do! Then he'll accept you on the spot!"

"Really?"

"Yeah! I mean… He did that with me!" Grey added.

"Same for me!" I said.

"I was one of the first members that joined after the initial launch of the game!" Erza explained. "I guess you've heard the rumor that FT don't accept new members or that we only want high level members. Well, that is false! We welcome anyone! As long as they are a team player and log in semi-daily."

"Then I can really join you guys?"

"Hell yeah!" I said. "You'll do great here!"

With tears in her eyes we headed to the guild. All chatting about how much fun we all would have together. Both in-game and IRL. As we all would go to the same school.

We all laughed, not knowing what we were about to walk into… Not knowing what was about to happen to Fairy Tail…

Sorry, this chapter is a bit shorter. I am trying to plan an arc and the next chapter will be way longer, but writing longer chapters take time! I didn't want you guys to wait forever, so I made this part its own chapter! Look forward to the next chapter!
