Hey guys! So I decided to write a short little scene of how it's like when Tony has dinner with his family. I decided to write this after watching The Incredibles so many times and wanted to write something about Tony. I hope ypu enjoy this really short story haha

Tony picked at his meatloaf and peas at the dinner table. He didn't feel like he had anything interesting to talk about to his family. Although his little sister, Olivia, was always being scolded by their mother for always getting in trouble.

His mother was feeding his baby sister near the table which irritated Tony a bit. She was born half a year ago and Tony wasn't sure what to think about her. Sometimes she annoyed him but sometimes she was okay to be around. Her name was Lily.

"Olivia Jolee Rydiger, I have told you so many times not to talk back to your teacher!"

Olivia scoffed, "But mom, she's the one that tried to come after me first!"

"It doesn't matter sweetie, you shouldn't talk back to them."

"Come on, mom! I don't know why I'm being blamed for this!" she reasoned.

Her mother brung down her voice, "Because you have to learn how to be considerate. Even if your teachers tell you to do something."

Olivia sighed and decided to stay quiet. She's always had a bad temper with people. Sometimes, Tony wanted to jump in to the conversation and say that Olivia was wrong but didn't want to start more drama.

His mother then turned in his direction, "How was school, Tony?"

He only shrugged, "Nothing much."

She raised her eyebrow, "Really? Nothing happened? Nothing new?"

Tony shook his head, he knew his mother always wanted to carry conversations with him and his sister.

"What about that Violet girl you always talk about?" Olivia asked, butting in.

Tony glared at her, "Shut up, Olivia."

"Violet? Who is this Violet?" His mother was sort of half smiling.

Tony just stared at his food, then proceeded to take a bite of his meatloaf. He hated how Olivia can be a brat sometimes.

"Is she your girlfriend?" His mother continued.

"No mom, she's a friend from school." He explained.

She smiled more, "Oh. Is she pretty? What's she like?"

Tony felt himself blush a little bit, he secretly had a crush on Violet, even though they've never talked. They both has two classes together and he could have sworn that she was looking at him one time.

"She's this girl in my class and she's really quiet," Tony looked down, "I really want to talk to her but she seems so shy."

Violet always wore her hair over one eye and would always try not to talk to anyone so Tony never wanted to try since he was afraid that she might now want to talk to him or anything.

He always thought Violet was beautiful. Her raven black hair falling on her light skin that she would push back behind her ear sometimes. Her dark brown eyes seeming to be hiding something deep down inside.

His mother smiled at him, "Just introduce yourself and maybe ask her if she wants to see a movie with you or something. Just be nice to her and maybe she'll be more open."

Tony nodded, "Yeah. Yeah, that's a great idea mom!"

He got up and hugged his mother, "Thanks mom, I'm going to talk to her at the track meet tomorrow after school."

Tony left the dining room and went upstairs to his room. He's known Violet for months now and he's finally going to work up the courage to speak to her. He couldn't have been any more happier.
