Billy's Question

Disclaimer: I've had this notion running in my head and is my way of explaining why there's a lot of Humans in PR's Outer Space.

Summary: Billy has a question, Cestria just may have the answer.

As Billy finished his preperations on the dining room table so that he and Cestria could begin that evening's meal in their home on Aquitar, a question found its way to the forefront of his mind. One that he had thought of several times in the past but for one reason or another, hadn't had a chance to ask Zordon or Alpha about it. "Cestria." He called out.

Successfully gaining her attention in the process as she looked at him with curiousity. "Yes, Billy?"

"I have a question I've been meaning to ask for quite some time now but never found a suitable opportunity to do so for one reason or another back on Earth. And its only now that I find myself thinking of it once again." Billy told his girlfriend.

Causing her curiousity to rise even more as she sat down the bowl and its contents that would be part of their meal on the table. "Oh? Well, I hope I'm able to give you a satisfactory answer then."

"How exactly is it that there are Humans in the Universe when my planet hasn't even managed to achieve traveling further than the Moon? And as well as those mixed with other Races? Its something I've found to be quite peculiar."

Billy watched as Cestria frowned for a moment and he briefly wondered if he perhaps overstepped things. "Have you ever heard of the Goa'uld?" She asked him after a moment of silence.

"I have not." Replied the former Blue Ranger with a shake of the head.

She nodded as if that made a lot of sense to her. "Yes, that would be understandable given the task you and your team had in dealing with the likes of Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, and later, the Machine Empire. The Goa'uld are essentially a Parasitic race who take over another's body and are slavers. Along with fooling many into believing they are Gods."

A disturbed frown came over Billy's face over that information as Cestria continued. "Centuries ago on Earth, it was discovered that Humans were more suitable for their Host needs and thus, enslaved them and took them to various planets in the Milky Way Galaxy for one reason or another. There are also the Ancients. But they were nothing like the Goa'uld and are said to have seeded a number of Galaxies with Humanity until they Ascended to a higher plane of Existence. As you've no doubt realized, we are an example of the Goa'ulds' efforts."

To say that Billy was floored by all this would perhaps be an understatement as he honestly wasn't expecting this! "You… You realize you've given me even more to question about, correct?"

Cestria couldn't help but laugh and moved to kiss him. "You wouldn't be you if you didn't, my love. But first, we eat." She told him sternly but was smiling none the less.

Causing him to chuckle. "Of course, wouldn't be wise to let our efforts go to waste."

And later, Billy would learn a lot more about the Universe in relation to the Goa'uld, their Jaffa, the Stargates, the Asgards, and various others. Later on, thanks to Zordon's sacrifice and his Z-Wave having the impact it did through out the Milky Way and at least one other Galaxy, the threat of the Goa'uld was significantly lessened thanks to its effects. Not only that, his sacrifice would help restore the Asgard to their original form while also freeing the Jaffa and due to the lesser threat the Goa'uld now was, Terra Venture was able to take flight across the stars a year later. It helped that those like the Eltarians, Triforians, the Nox, and Aquitians helped out in its construction, along with the fact that the former Dark Fortress was used as the primary base to build the Terra Venture around.

The mission of the SGC was a lot easier too thanks to Zordon's sacrifice for the most part.
