Chapter 12 Part 1: The Town That Welcomes Pirates! Setting Foot On Whisky Peak!

"I've got you now Tsuna!" Usopp shouted throwing the snowball that he'd sculpted to sphere perfection in her direction…

Tsuna yelled raising her arms up in order to protect her face from the icy blow.

"RIGHT HAND MAN SHEILD!" Gokudera shouted flying out of nowhere and right in front of Tsuna, the snowball smashed straight into his face and sent him crashing to the ground.

Everyone had frozen in shock— but it lasted for less than a second before the ocean shook with the force of their laughter.

Usopp—the owner of the snowball, laughing harder than everyone else fell to the ground when his shaking body could no longer keep its self up right and he began to roll around in the snow clutching his stomach.

"What was that! hahaha!" He stopped abruptly shooting up into a sitting position his expression serious, "RIGHT HAND MAN SHEILD! HAHAHAHA!" He mocked, imitating the now tomato red Gokudera and starting another round of laughter.

"Shut up…"

"HAHAHAHA!" Usopp continued to laugh, even after everyone else had stopped—no doubt pleased by the fact that he wasn't the one getting laughed at for a change.

Yamamoto with his Eagle like eyes flashed spotting the breach in the enemy's defences he acted quickly. Shifting his stance— a predator like glint in his eyes. Yamamoto raised his arm equipped with a baseball sized snowball and threw it. With incredible speed the ball locked on its target shooting towards Usopp—who was only now beginning to calm down and had left himself wide open to the oppositions counterstrike.

Yamamoto smiled wickedly. The snowball made contact with the victim—becoming lodged within Usopp's open mouth and getting stuck. The powerful throw sent Usopp flying backwards effectively removing him from the game.

"Way to go Yamamoto! That was some extreme pitching!" Ryohei exclaimed bumping fists with the rain guardian.

"NO! Usopp was killed, you bastards. Dammit!" Luffy cried, "Don't worry Usopp I'll avenge you!"

The snowball fight continued. Meanwhile the dearly departed sat over at the side his mouth now free of the obtrusion, sweatdroppping, "I'm not dead."

Tsuna chuckled—she'd been one step ahead of the sniper and had made a tactical retreat, when the friendly snowball fight turned into an all out war between the boys with every man for himself. Instead she'd cleared a small part of the snow away on the steps leading up to the higher deck with a mug of hot chocolate warming up her cold hands that Sanji had given to her. The velvety richness of the homemade drink was warming up her chilly body leaving her with the comfortable mushy bones sensation.

"Alright! All done, Tsuna. What do you think!?" Luffy shouted getting her attention she looked over at the snowy creation that he was gesturing too.

The fighting had ceased for now and the others had wandered off, leaving Luffy and Usopp playing in the snow, the two using the snow that blanketed the floor of the deck and had each made a snowman. . .? Kind of.

As she passed the sleeping green haired swordsman, who was almost completely covered in snow she stopped and wrapped the wide thick woolly scarf over as much of his body as she could without waking him up before turning her attention back to Luffy.

Getting a better look at the snowman Tsuna could honestly say that she was at a loss for words.

"Its the man that fell from the sky. Mr Snow Barrel!"

Tsuna studied the snowman—correction Mr Snow Barrel closely. He had a big round body like a normal snowman, two wonky placed sticks for arms, it was the same for his black button eyes as well one was placed higher than the other. Its nose was really long and she couldn't help but think that it looked as if it could be a relative of Usopp's. The snowman had a big friendly smile a green cape and a barrel on its head—why Tsuna didn't know.

"Its very cute." She smiled.

"Ha. Ha. Haaa." Usopp laughed slowly.

Tsuna suddenly had a bad feeling.

"Cute. What a brilliant way. Tsuna, to describe such an amateur level creation. . ."

"What!?" Luffy cried indignantly.

"Behold, let the snow sculpting master show you how it's done." Usopp moved over dramatically to the side and revealed the sculpture of a pretty woman lounging on what looked to Tsuna like a rock with the sunset behind her. Usopp wasn't wrong when he bragged about being at the master level it was an impressive creation and very beautiful to look at.

But Tsuna was sure that all his bragging was going to bring his sculpture nothing but misfortune.

"Look at my soulful artwork, The Snow Queen!"

"Its very beautiful, Usopp." Tsuna praised.

Luffy glanced at Tsuna's happy expression and then over to Usopp's Snow Queen, "Whoa! That's great!" Luffy agreed, "Okay then! Snow Barrel Punch!" Luffy smacked the arm of his snowman sending it right through the head of the Snow Queen.

Tsuna sweat-dropped and sighed and once again made a tactical retreat and watched knowing full well what was about to transpire.

Usopp blinked at his demolished statue, "What the hell are you doing?!" Usopp shouted furious he fly kicked right through Luffy"s snowman in retaliation.

"AHH! Mr Snow Barrel! How dare you. . .!"

Tsuna could hear the ding ding in her head like the sound of a bell at the beginning of a wrestling match, she watched the two attack each other their weapons getting more and more stupid as it escalated.

"How can they be so energetic when it's this cold?" Nami asked appearing and not at all attempting to hide the disgust tone of her voice as she watched Luffy and Usopp price around the deck with no coats on, she walked over and leaned on the railing to Tsuna's side, "And what's up with this weather? It was warm just a minute ago?"

"Nami-san! How long do you want me to continue my Snow Shovelling of Love~?" Sanji swooned, down on the lower deck.

"Until it stops snowing Sanji-kun!" Nami shouted back in an equally sugary voice.

"Dame woman, sat there doing nothing while we do all the work." Tsuna heard Gokudera grumble.

"Should I help?" Tsuna asked standing up from her seat on the stairs—she didn't take half a step down before she slipped on the ice. Sanji seeing her fall and being the closest on to her was the first to catch her.

Tsuna's face went bright red immediately. She was sat on one of Sanji's knees slightly leaning back with his arm around her waist— it was just like a scene out of a shoujo manga only there were no sparkles or flowers surrounding them in the background.

"No need Hime-chan. Allow me—your loyal knight of love to do this small labour of love." Sanji suddenly felt burning hot not because of passion but the burning hot sensation was coming from directly behind him.

The piercing stare morphed into killing intent an image ran through is head of his neck on the chopping block and Sanji managed to duck just in time as a shovel sliced through the air right where his head had just been.

A moment later Sanji realised suddenly that his arms were empty. Looking over his shoulder he saw Yamamoto smiling happily down at the still flushed Tsuna he took off his scarf and wrapped it securely around her neck before wrapping his arms around her and glancing at Sanji with a smile. That smile sent chills down Sanji's spine and he came to the conclusion that out of all Tsuna's guardians it was Yamamoto that was the most dangerous—hidden behind that happy go lucky smiley exterior was a beast. One that would bare its fangs at anyone how came too close to its owner.

"Why don't you go sit back down Hime-chan." Yamamoto said ushering her back towards her seat on the steps that had become covered in a light layer of snow again.

"Okay." She sighed.

"Oi, you two."

Nami and Tsuna looked over at the door to the kitchen their two tagalongs were sticking their heads out the door careful not to expose too much of their bodies to the cold. "Doesn't this ship have any heating?" The guy with the crown on his head asked.

"Its cold."

"SHUT YOUR TRAPS! YOU TWO AREN'T GUESTS GET YOUR ASSES OUT THERE AND HELP!" Nami shouted at the two.

'Look out!" Tsuna yelled pulling Nami away from the railing ship a moment before lightning struck the ocean right by the Merry.

"Lightning?!" Usopp shouted.

"Just a while ago the weather was warm. Then all of a sudden it started to snow and now there's thunder and lightning. The seasons are spinning out of control."

"It's just like Crocus said." Reborn said jumping on to Tsuna's head and peering up at the sky. A steaming cup of coffee in his pudgy little hands looking completely unconcerned at the bleak looking sky.

"This is the Grand Line." The blue haired woman said like it was something so obvious.

"You have no idea what you're doing, do you? And you're not even steering the helm." She continued to taunt. "You sure thats a good idea?"

Nami perked up at that, "I just checked our heading a second ago."

.

.

.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Nami screamed.

"W—what is it?" Usopp questioned wondering what could cause such an over the top reaction.

"Nami what is it?" Tsuna asked also worried about the navigators reaction.

"What's happened, Nami-san?" Sanji shouted from the upper deck.

"No way! Turn the ship around 180 degrees right now, quickly!"

"Why are we turning back?" Yamamoto asked confused had she forgotten something important back on the capes.

"The ships reversed direction and were heading the wrong way! I only took my eyes off the log pose for a second. . . and the waves were so quiet."

"Don't worry Nami all that matters is that you realised quickly before anything happened." Tsuna patted Nami on the shoulder in comfort.

"Are you really a navigator?" Asked Miss Wednesday, but rather than a question it sounded like another taunt.

Tsuna felt Nami's shoulders tense under her hand.

She continued, "On this ocean. The wind, the sky, the waves, the clouds. . . You can't trust any of it. The only thing you can trust is the direction the log pose's needle points to. Get it now?"

Tsuna's eyes sharpened. "Thank you for the advice miss." she said giving a small bow. "but I would also like you to remember the more you taunt and ridicule our navigator. The more you keep on distracting her. Causing her to make minor mistakes in our journey. The more time it will take to get to—i believe it were called Whiskey peak."

The two had gotten more silent the longer Tsuna talked and they began to sweat. Tsuna cocked her head to the side and smiled at them—to an outsider who hadn't been privy to the conversation would see the smile as innocent and friendly but to the two sat before her that smile had a pressure to it that resonated right down to their bones.

"Don't you two have to make it back as quickly as possible. We would get there a lot faster if you shared your experience and helped around the ship, I'm sure it would be very much appreciated."

"i—uhm— well" the two floundered for words for a while. Whilst Tsuna continued to smile at them.

Nami at the side nodded, " Tsuna's right." Nami walked over to the two who had their heads sticking out the kitchen door and ragged them by the back of their clothes. "QUIT LECTURING, YOU FREELOADERS. AND GET OUT THERE AND HELP!" She bellowed throwing them over the raining and down on to the main deck. She walked back over to Tsuna with a satisfied smile on her face.

Tsuna sweat dropped, Nami's method wasn't what she had in mind but she supposed the end result was the same and that was what really mattered— she supposed…

"Great job Tsuna your finally exhibiting the characteristics of a top notch Mafia BOSS!" Reborn praised.

"Your delusional." Tsuna said shooting him down swiftly. It was almost a reflex reaction to react in denial when it came to the baby hitman.
