Barnaby was never the jealous type; he understood differences and situations, and moved on. If he was involved in anything like that, he was usually on the receiving end because of his looks, talent, money, and even fame. But, it happens, there's nothing he can do about it, and it's nobody's fault. That's life.

Until he met him: Kotetsu. This goofy little man awakened feelings inside Barnaby that he never even thought existed in his being. One of which is jealousy. Sure, Michiko was an old friend from Oriental Town who happened to be in Sternbild on a business trip and made time to catch up over dinner, but G-d, man! How long are you going to look at him with that slimy grin like he's your wonderful world when he's already mine? Stop grabbing him and hugging him and openly flirting with him in front of me! And that obnoxious giggle! How dare you-

"Bunny? Earth to the one and the only Bunny-chan?"

Barnaby blinked, remembering that he was driving them home after dinner. They were stuck at a red light at an intersection.

"I'm sorry, what were you saying?"

Kotetsu made an exasperated noise. "You've been acting weird all night! I'm worried!"

Shit. He noticed his stoic silence and irritated glaring, didn't he? Barnaby had a feeling he would somehow have to fess up. Maybe he could keep his pride tonight if Kotetsu is able to figure it out…

The light changed, he moved further down before they encountered traffic.

"She was a bit much. Michiko, I mean. You were annoyed." The older man wore a sympathetic grin. "She does that at first, but, before you know it, you're suddenly best friends. She's amazing. Thanks for putting up with it, partner!"

Kotetsu jumped as he heard a sudden smack, looking over with concerned eyes at Barnaby, whose hand was covering his forehead. The look on his face was another fierce indicator that the older man was way off.

"Has it ever occurred in that lovely, little head of yours that maybe I was jealous?" Green eyes darted over to him. "G-d-why the hell do you look surprised?"

The older man's face suddenly turned into one of amusement before he snorted and began laughing. He cleared his throat with a quick apology as they moved up in the line of traffic before he started all over again.

"I'm not laughing at you, Bunny." Kotetsu was finally able to get out. "Your reactions are just adorable. But, you're the only one with this old man's heart, okay?"

"It needs a pacemaker."

"Bunny~!"

The blonde's smile was back as he leaned over to kiss his favorite person in the whole wide world who is amazing in everything. When they got back to their Silver Stage home, he further demonstrated his actions. To remind Kotetsu who exactly he belonged to, he felt his territorial testosterone begin to set. They were nearly up all night.
