It was late in the day and Ritsu was in standby node, downloading an update from HQ.

"Hm, this new upgrade should boost my rate of fire by-"

"Ritsu?"

Ritsu noticed that Itona had entered the room, looking uncharacteristically nervous.

"Itona, what is it?"

"Theres... Something I need your help with."

"What is it?"

"Well I've been watching the couples in class." Said Itona. "And how they've been kissing..."

"Kissing?"

"Yeah... I want to know what its like."

"I understand your curiosity Itona but I don't see how I could help with that." Said Ritsu.

Itona blushed and looked away.

"Well... It takes two people to kiss right?"

Ritsu felt her processor begin to heat up.

"Are you...-"

Itona saw no further use in delaying the inevitable.

"Can I kiss you!?"

"Itona, I'm a computer... You'd be better off asking one of the girls."

"I did" said Itona.

"Not a chance." Said Hazama.

"I appreciate the offer but I'm waiting for someone special." Said Kurahashi.

"I'm mischevious but even I have standards." Said Rio.

"I swear to god if you ask Hara I'll break your kneecaps." Said Yoshida.

"They didn't want to."

"I see... Oh I have an idea!"

A panel on Ritsu's side opened up and a plastic bust of her face emerged from it.

"Try kissing this for practice"

Itona took the bust and looked it over.

"Alright."

Itona began kissing the bust as Ritsu watched intently.

"Look at him go."

After a full minute Itona stopped and groaned.

"It doesn't feel right, theres no life in this bust..."

"I-I see...

Itona shoved the bust back into the panel, so it could be melted down and recycled.

"I'm afraid I can't do much else." Said Ritsu. "My func-"

Before Ritsu could continue Itona pressed his lips against the screen where Ritsu's were. The AI was taken back by Itona's actions and her eyes widened. After a solid minute Itona broke the "kiss" and stepped back.

"Better... But still missing something."

"Actual lips perhaps?" Asked Ritsu.

"... Then its decided."

"I beg your pardon?" Asked Ritsu. "What is decided?"

"I'm going to build you a robot body."

"Huh!?"

"That way I can kiss you for real."

"Itona..."

Ritsu looked away nervously as excitement filled her databanks.

"A body..." Thought Ritsu. "I can see the world... Interact with it..."

Ritsu smiled warmly at Itona.

"I look forward to it." Said Ritsu.

"Me too." Replied Itona.

This was also originally written for the third Class Files but it worked good as a standalone too. I have one last story for today that I'll upload later.
