Rowena glides past Sam, still smirking at Dean's joke. Sam knows he can't let her get away with the Black Grimoire but right now he's trying to control the flood of emotions within him. Dean saunters down the stairs, a grin on his face, and Sam fights the desire to punch his brother for making such a stupid joke at his expense. He decides his other need is much greater and grabs Dean, pulling him close in a tight hug.

"That wasn't funny, Dean," murmurs Sam. "You scared the hell out of me."

Dean clutches him tightly. "I'm sorry, Sammy."
