Use Lapduck-Lax, Soos!"

"I'm trying! I almost got it, I almost got it-YES! They have gone down, dude! Boo-yaaah!"

Both Melody and Soos cheered and exchanged high fives as they won a victory against their opponents. It was the after hours of another work day at the Mystery Shack; it had been quite a day with new tourists coming in to explore the wonder that was the Mystery Shack and the many landmarks of Gravity Falls. Not that the couple would complain and gripe; as long as they were able to work together and bring loads of fun and joy to their customers, and to each other, that was all that mattered.

So to relax, they picked up an old version of the ever popular two-player monster catching video game, 'Sparklebeast'. It was quite old compared to today's 'Sparklebeast' versions, but it was a very beloved classic for the two lovers although Soos had retained a slightly better memory of the game than Melody.

Soos laughed. "So Melody, you wanna take a shot at the Gymnasium Boss of Springfield? In this game, they've got the best team of Flower Sparklebeasts."

"I remember; that Boss can even take out a two-hundred level Horseyta. But that sounds perfect! Let's take her down!"

And like a battle couple, they rushed into video game action!

A/N:

'Sparklebeasts' is a parody of Pokemon LOL. But I kind of took the name from The Simpsons Game too, with the drabble referencing Spark lemon. I've never played the game, but the level seems to be a level I can personally see Soos and Melody enjoying. Soos likes anime and I bet Melody would dig it too.

This was just a quick drabble showcasing a moment between Soos and Melody. There needs to be more cute moments between these two and I wanted to pay my due with them. This drabble is a part of a 30-day prompt I'm working on for February. I'll post some more of these prompts overtime, but for now, enjoy and have happy days!
