Chapter 14

Part 1: Mirror-Mirror

This world has many reversed things. Light to Darkness. Left to right. Happiness to Sadness. However, not many people or mortals know about the existence of the mirror world.

It was a strange world that's reversed to our world. No living things existed in this reversed world, and no laws of physics worked in this world.

A mysterious figure in a hood walked down the dark path. As he walked deeper and deeper into the darkness, mirrors began appearing around him, floating in the air.

He stopped his feet and looked up.

"Who…. Are you? Why are you here in my realm?" A sinister, feminine voice said.

"I am here for a proposition." The hooded figure proposed as he snickered.

- Yo-Kai Watch –

It was a normal time at Sakura New Elementary. However, today was a bit noisy in the class, especially the girl students.

"Hey, have you heard about it?" One of the girls asked in a group.

"Yeah! I read on the Internet!" One of the girls exclaimed.

"I know, right?" said the other one.

"It sounds scary!" One of the girls shivered.

Ken, Keita, Kuma, and Kanchi overheard what the girls were talking about.

"What are they talking about?" Ken thought aloud.

"Probably some girl stuff," Kuma shrugged off. "Come on, guys! Let's go outside and play soccer!"

Ken was about to leave but noticed that Keita wouldn't move.

"Are you coming, Keita?" He asked.

"Shhh…!" He made Ken stay quiet as they listened to the girls' chatter.

"The Legend of Scary Mary," Mika said. "According to legend, if a girl looks at the mirror in a darkened room and says Scary Mary three times, you will see your future husband."

"Is that true?" Satoko asked.

"It sounds a bit far-fetched to me," Ai said.

"Well, that's what I heard, too, but it seems like the game is becoming trendy nowadays," Mika pointed out. "What do you think, Fumi-chan?"

"Me? Well…. It does sound like it isn't real, but I am kind of curious," Fumika admitted.

"Maybe you should try it out and see if it is real!" Mika suggested.

"What? I don't know about that…" Fumika flustered.

"Legend of Scary Mary…. I wonder if I will appear as a future husband in Fumi-chan's mirror!" Ken dreamed of that happening.

"There is no way that would happen!" Whisper appeared, breaking Ken's dream. "It is only an old superstition and average person like you, Keita-Kun, Fumi-chan would rather want to marry someone more not average."

"Why you!" Keita grabbed Whisper and began beating him up.

Ken and Yuray watched as they sweat-dropped.

"Though, Mr. Whisper is right about one thing," Yuray said. "It is only a superstition. I've heard of it before, but I can't recall where."

"Well, it doesn't concern me. I am going outside to play soccer with the guys," Ken said as he left the class.

Fumika noticed Ken leaving as she wondered.

Later that day, it was night-time. Fumika was preparing to go to bed when she was brushing her teeth. She looked at her reflection in the mirror. She still wondered if the legend was real or not.

"Hmmm… Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. It is probably just all fake to not get scared in the dark, but…. OK! I decided!" Fumika finished brushing her teeth and then turned off the light.

The bathroom was very dark, but she could still see herself in the mirror.

"Scary Mary, Scary Mary, Scary Mary!" She said strongly in front of the mirror.

She waited for a minute to see what happened. After a minute, nothing happened. It was just her reflection in the mirror.

"Phew, well nothing happens. I guess it was all just a superstition," she decided.

Suddenly, something was forming inside the mirror. Fumika stared at it, thinking if it worked. However, the face she saw wasn't her future husband.

"Aaah! Kyaaahh!" She screamed as she dropped her toothbrush.

The next day, it was a normal day. Ken and Keita, alongside their Yo-kai butler and maid respectfully, were walking to school together. Whisper was still beaten up by Keita as Yuray looked a bit concerned.

"You two!" They stopped to hear a voice when a familiar fox with nine tails jumped in front of them.

"Whoa!" Keita gasped.

"Kyubi?!" Ken said in a surprised tone.

"Mr. Kyubi, what's wrong?" Yuray asked.

"I…. I need both of your help!" Kyubi exclaimed.

"Help? What do you mean?" Keita asked.

"I saw it! My beloved, I mean, Fumika was kidnapped!" Kyubi exclaimed.

This was a surprise to the Yokai Watchers.

"What?!" Keita gasped.

"What happened to her, Kyubi?" Ken asked seriously.

"I was on my regular night patrol, seeking my hearts from human girls as usual and then I stumbled upon Fumika's house, noticing that her bathroom's window was lit, but turned dark all of a sudden. As I was just to pass by, I heard her scream! I rushed to see what had happened and that was where I saw it! She was sucked into the mirror!" Kyubi explained.

"Suck into the mirror?!" Keita was surprised. "You're saying you saw her getting suck into the mirror?!"

"That's what I said. Not only that, but I also sensed a strong Yokai energy when it happened," Kyubi added.

"Yokai? Then, that means Fumika was kidnapped by a Yokai inside a mirror," Ken stated.

"How is that even possible?" Whisper asked.

"Well, however they did it, we must save Ms. Fumika!" Yuray pointed out.

"Mirror…" Keita repeated. "Oh! I know! We can use that Yokai to help us."

Keita took out one of his medals, showing a mirror Yokai, Mirapo. "Come out, my friend! Mirapo! Yo-Kai Watch, do your thing!"

He summoned the mirror Yokai, Mirapo. "Mirrapoo!"

"Mirapo, could you help us to get to the mirror world, where Fumika was taken away to?" Keita asked.

"Miraaapooo!" Mirapo whipped his mirror, opening a portal, which sucked the gang into it.

"Whaaaaaaaaa!" They screamed.

They all entered the mirror world as they landed on the ground.

"Ouch…" Whisper said painfully.

"Keita…. You should've warned us," Ken said.

"Sorry," Keita apologized.

"Well, at least we are here," Yuray said as she got up, looking around.

Everyone got back up their feet (except for the ghost Yokai, Whisper, and Yuray). They were in the reverse world of our real world, the mirror world.

"What is this place? It looks like Sakura New Town, but it feels… different," Keita described.

"This is must be the mirror world. We are in the world reversed to the real world," Ken stated. "But never mind the scenery. We have to find Fumika!"

Everyone agreed and began searching for her in this strange, dark world. As they walked the path, they couldn't make understand the place. As they walked by, houses disappeared and reappeared. Random mirrors also appeared as they walked further and further. All they could do was follow down the path.

As they did, they noticed some kind of alter ahead, but most importantly….

"Oh my! Look over there!" Yuray pointed.

They saw what she was pointing at or rather who she was pointing at. Fumika was unconscious as she was tied to a wooden cross.

"Fumi-chan!" Keita yelled as they ran over to her. Suddenly, smoke appeared in front of them, stopping their track.

"Kya, ha, ha, ha!" They heard a sinister laugh. When the smoke was cleared, a teenage girl appeared.

The girl wore a mask over her face but revealed blue eyes and long blond hair. She wore a black and white short-sleeve cocktail dress, gray heels, and mirror earrings.

"She is the one who took Fumika away!" Kyubi pointed.

"Who are you?" Ken asked.

"I am the ruler of this realm! I am the very legend itself! I am Scary Mary, kya, ha, ha, ha!" She laughed evilly.

"Scary Mary?!" Everyone gasped.

"So the legend is real!" Whisper exclaimed. "Ah, I mean, of course, it makes all sense!"

Scary Mary-Tribe: Horror, Attribute: Dark.

"According to the Yokai Pad, Scary Mary is Yokai of the Horror Tribe. She has the power to take away a person if they chant her name three times in front of the mirror while inside a darkened room," Yuray explained.

"What are you doing with Fumi-chan?!" Keita fumed.

"Kya, ha, ha! Oh, it is nothing. I need your friend here to transfer my soul into her," she answered.

"Transfer your soul? Why?" Ken asked.

"For you see, I was like her when I was a human. The prettiest in the class. I was a normal girl, but when I was preparing for a date, I accidentally started a fire. I managed to escape, but the debris hurt me and damaged my face! I was shocked to see my face after the accident, and through my despair, I was reborn as a Yokai, ruling over this mirror world! However, by transferring my soul into a pure and pretty girl, I can escape from this world and roam free in the real world!"

"We won't allow you to do that!" Ken stated.

"That's right! Nobody will take over Fumi-chan's body, not if I have something to say about it!" Keita exclaimed as he had a medal ready.

Ken also took out a Yo-kai Medal as well.

"Yo-Kai Medal set on! Summoning Jibanyan! Yo-Kai Watch Zero, do your thing!"

"Yo-Kai Medal set on! I summon Lasagnyan!"

The boys summoned their Yo-kai cat partners respectfully.

"Kya, ha, ha! So you dare to challenge me? Very well… I will play with you while the soul transfer is progressing!" Scary Mary summoned two mirrors. The mirrors were reflecting the Yokai cat duo's reflection when suddenly, their reflection came out of the mirror.

"Nya?! What the?!" Jibanyan gasped.

"What in tarnation is this?!" Lasagnyan asked.

In front of them, a reversed, darker version of themselves appeared with glowing red eyes.

"Attack, my minions!" Scary Mary ordered.

"Go, Jibanyan! Save Fumi-chan!" Keita stated.

"You help, too, Lasagnyan!" Ken shouted.

"Let's go, Tomato Bum!" Lasagnyan said as she jumped in first.

"Nya, but wait… Hey, don't call me Tomato Bum!" Jibanyan complained as he also joined in the battle.

"Paws of Fury!" Jibanyan used his rapid punching attack, but his reversed self also did the same move at him.

"Hah!" Lasagnyan threw her lasso to try to trap her reversed self, but it dodged, and it threw its lasso, too.

"Whoa!" She dodged as well. "This cowgirl is copying my moves!"

"Be careful! Those reversed versions can use the same moves!" Yuray warned.

"Come on!" Ken declared as they ran towards the alter. Keita joined with him as they ran to Fumika.

"No! You both stay out of the way!" Scary Mary summed a mirror just below their feet.

Ken noticed it, and he quickly jumped over it, but as for Keita, it was too late for him as the mirror sucked him in.

"Keita-Kun!" Whisper screamed.

"Keita!" Ken yelled.

"Hellllp!" Keita shouted as he sucked into the mirror.

"What did you do?!" Ken said angrily.

"I won't let anyone get in my way!" Scary Mary shouted as dark aura enveloped around her.

"Keita!" Kyubi jumped into the mirror and grabbed Keita.

"Mr. Kyubi!" Yuray cried as Kyubi held on the side of the mirror's frame.

"Kyaaaahh!" They all looked at Fumika, who just screamed even though she was unconscious.

Seeing Fumika in pain made Ken his heart beep loudly. The feeling of anger was boiling up inside his heart and it was going to erupt, but he remembered Chillax's words.

'No… I won't let my anger consume. Not ever again!' Ken thought as he took out another medal. "Yo-Kai Medal set on! I summon Inky! Yokai Watch, do your thing!"

He inserted the medal into his regular Yo-Kai Watch, causing the hands to spin and light shined out.

Summoning Horror!

Night howling,

Bone-chilling!

The darkness of the Night,

Beware Horror!

Inky!

"Inky, stop Scary Mary, and save Fumika!" Ken ordered.

"Ay, ay, captain!" Inky used his ink power to trap Scary Mary by her feet, making her stuck into the pool of ink.

"Hey!" She cried.

The trapped Fumika was swallowed by the ink, but she resurfaced from the ink in front of Whisper and Yuray.

Just then, the mirrored versions of Jibanyan and Lasagnyan disappeared due to Scary Mary was being held down.

Kyubi also managed to save Keita and got him out of the mirror. They all re-group together and checked on Fumika.

"Fumi-chan!" Keita yelled.

"Is she okay?" Ken asked.

Kyubi used his power to check her. He sighed. "This is not good. She is cursed with dark power. And there is nothing I can do. At this rate, she will…"

"No! We can't let her be like this!" Keita argued.

Ken thought for a moment to himself. He then decided.

"There is only one way to save her," Ken said as everyone looked at him, wonder what he means.

Yuray knew what he means. "Master Ken, are you suggesting that…?!"

"It is the only way, Yuray. I have to use the Watch S to absorb the dark energy from her. By doing that, I can remove it from her and she will be saved," Ken explained.

"But, Ken, isn't that suppose to be dangerous?" Keita asked worryingly. "There's got to be another way!"

"No, Keita. This is the only way," Ken replied seriously. "Yuray!"

"… Yes, Master Ken." Yuray gave a kiss over his watch, changing it to the cursed Watch S.

Once it was the Watch S, it quickly began absorbing the dark energy from Fumika's body.

"Noooo! What are you doing?!" Scary Mary cried, but everyone ignored her while Inky held her down with his ink power.

Ken felt a strange pain as he continued using the Watch S, but he ignored it and continued with it. The dark energy was completely absorbed into the Watch S. Everyone looked relieved that it was over.

"Noooooo!" Scary Mary screamed as powerful aura outburst from her body.

Inky couldn't hold her down as she freed herself.

The heroes turned back to see Scary Mary with her mask broken, revealing her red and black charred face.

"You won't get away with this!" She yelled monstrously.

Ken found one mirror on the floor and thought of a quick idea. "Inky, the mirror!"

Inky used his ink power to absorb the mirror.

Scary Mary flew towards the hero with her clawed hands to attack them. Inky quickly took the mirror and showed it in front of Scary Mary.

"Ah! Kyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!" Scary Mary screamed at her reflection, which caused her body to disintegrate, leaving only her medal behind.

"What just happened?" Keita asked.

"It seems that Scary Mary disappeared after seeing her reflection," Whisper reasoned.

"It must be her weakness. She couldn't bear to see her reflection," Yuray explained.

Ken walked over to pick up the medal. It showed Scary Mary with one half covered by her white mask and the other half showed her charred face.

"Come on. Let's get out of here," Ken said.

- Yo-Kai Watch –

"Mmmm…." Fumika slowly opened her eyes. "Where… Where am I?"

"Oh, hello, Fumika-chan." She turned over to see the school nurse. "You're at the nurse's room right now."

"What happened?" She asked.

"Well, two of your classmates found you fainted on the street. So they kindly took you here. Fortunately, you weren't in a serious injury, according to the boys," the nurse explained.

"Boys? Who helped me?" She asked.

"Why I think it was Keita and Ken," the nurse answered.

"Keita-kun and… Ken. He helped me…" Fumika said.

"Now, why don't you rest here for a little while, okay?" Nurse assured.

"OK…" She accepted.

'Ken…. Helped me? I…. I have to pay him back in some ways later.'

Meanwhile, on the top of the school rooftop, the same hooded figure snickered.

"That was quite a risk of you asking Scary Mary for the job," said a voice, who revealed to be Nekomusume.

"True, but she did what she did. Though she failed to escape from her mirror prison, at least she made Ken absorb more dark energy for us. The plan is going smoothly," said the hooded figure as he put down his hood.

His face revealed to be a light-skinned teenage boy with spiky red and gray hair with two gray wolf ears. His nose also pointed like a wolf, and his mouth revealed two upper sharp fangs. His eyes were yellow with a tint of redness.

"At this rate, the dark energy he absorbed will awaken our master and then our dream will come true," said the boy.

"Yes, Fang. Our dream…" Nekomusume muttered.

Part 2: Doggone Love

"Hey, Valentine's Day is almost here!" Fumika said excitedly as she was talking with her friends.

Ken and Yuray overheard their conversation.

"Ah, Valentine's Day. A lovely day where one expresses their love to others with a gift of a chocolate, flower, or something nice," Yuray said, mesmerized the thought of the holiday.

"That does sound nice," Ken said. "I wonder if I am supposed to give them something."

"Ah-hem!" Ken turned over to see Kuma, Kanchi, and Keita surrounding him, leaning too close to him.

"Don't you have any clue, Ken?!" Keita scolded him in a whispering tone.

"Yeah, dude! What are you saying?!" Kuma stated.

"You got to read the situation!" Kanchi pointed out.

"What's wrong with you guys?" Ken asked, feeling a bit offended.

"Listen, Ken. Here in Japan, Valentine's Day works a bit differently. For you see, the girls give heartfelt chocolate to boys, but here at the school, it is a bit different," Keita said.

"How so?" Ken asked, looking a bit curious, yet annoyed.

"This year, we suspect the girl is giving out obligatory chocolate this year," Keita explained. "And the one who has the most obligatory chocolate means he's the most popular boy for Valentine's."

"Um, ok," Ken said. "And why so?"

"Why so?" Kuma looked surprised. "I will be nice because you are like a new here and never experience how Valentine's works, but tomorrow, we boys will be competing to see who gets the most obligatory chocolate on Valentine's Day!"

"It is in two days. We boys will be extra nice tomorrow," Kanchi explained.

"Yup! So, no hard feeling, Ken, but we're going to be extra competitive tomorrow! So be warned," Keita warned.

Ken sighed and got up from his seat with his backpack.

"Well, it sounds your boys will be busy tomorrow. I will make sure I'll stay out of your way. See ya guys," Ken exited himself.

"Ah, wait up, Master Ken!" Yuray followed after him.

"Well, at least that's one competition less," Kuma stated.

As Ken exited out to head back home, Fumika noticed him. The girls also noticed Fumika seeing Ken, and a flying shadowed creature watched over them.

The next day, it was a day before Valentine's Day. It started a normal day like any other time, but there was something that wasn't normal like any other day.

"Yuray, just what are they doing?" Ken asked as he pointed to Whisper and Komasan (who dressed very formally) sitting at a table as if they were some kind of Sports commentators.

"They are commenting on the boys competing in being nice to the girls," Yuray explained.

"Good morning, everyone! We are here Sakura Elementary School, Class 1-A. I, Whisper will be your commentator with my assistant commentator, Komasan, who happened to be taking a morning walk today around the school!" Whisper commented.

"Thank you for inviting me here," Komasan said politely.

"Today is a special day, a day before Valentine's Day! The boys are competing against each other on who will become the number 1 for Valentine's Day. To determine this, each boy will have a point counter above their head. Whenever they do something of a nice act to any girls, then they will earn a point," Whisper explained as the said point counter appeared above every boys' head, including Ken.

"Wait a second. Why do I have one, too?" Ken asked confusingly.

"That sounds like a lot of fun, monge," Komasan commented.

"Now, let's see what the boys will do!" Whisper stated.

"Oh no!" The boys stayed still but listened to who said that. It was Fumika, who looked distressed.

"What's wrong, Fumi-chan?" Satoko asked.

"I forgot about the note I missed when I was sick," Fumika answered.

"Oh! Here it is! This is the first game! Who will be the one who gives her the note to help Fumika?!" Whisper said dramatically.

Suddenly, Kanchi moved quickly like a ninja, surprising the other boys.

"Here, Fumi-chan. You can copy it from my notebook," Kanchi offered.

"Wow! Thank you, Kanchi-Kun!" Fumika thanked him.

"Impressive! Kanchi has made the first move!" Whisper stated. "Now, let's see how much points he earns for that."

His point counter showed 2800.

"Monge! It is 2800 points! That's pretty high!" Komasan impressed.

"Great job on Kanchi!" Whisper commented excitedly. "However, this isn't the end. The other boys may look agitated, but they are determined to make their move on the next sign!"

"They are treating this as a sports event…" Ken said, looking a bit dumbfounded.

"Ah!" Fumika accidentally dropped her erasure.

"Oh no! Fumi-chan dropped her erasure, but who will pick it up? Is it Kanchi, is it Keita, or….!"

Without thinking twice, Kuma caught the erasure and handed it to Fumika.

"Here, Fumi-chan. You dropped your erasure," Kuma said.

"Thank you, Kuma-Kun!" Fumika thanked him.

"Amazing! Kuma was the one who picked up her erasure!" Whisper stated. "What did you think of that, Komasan?"

"That was sweet of him and he looked cool when he did it," Komasan commented.

"He was just picking an erasure. It's not that of a big deal…" Ken said, rolling his eyes.

"But it was polite of him to do so, Master Ken," Yuray pointed out.

"And that earns Kuma a total of 2800 points, tying with Kanchi," Whisper stated.

A little bit later, everyone moved to the science lab for science class.

"Now we are at the school's science class. The first round began with Kanchi saving Fumika with his note prepared and Kuma kindly picking up her erasure when she dropped it," Whisper said.

"I wonder what will happen next," Komasan said, feeling excited.

"I'm curious, too, Mr. Komasan," Yuray agreed as she was now sitting next to Komasan.

"Hey. when did you become a commentator?" Ken asked in a surprised tone.

"Here, pass this down." A student gave a stack of paper to Keita. Keita quickly stacked the paper neatly.

"Oh, look at that! Keita neatly re-stacked the paper to make it look cleaner! What a nice touch to detail!" Whisper commented excitedly.

"Here you go, Fumi-chan!" Keita said in a cool tone as he handed the stack of paper to Fumika.

"Oh! Um… Thank you, Keita-Kun." Fumika accepted the paper as she felt a bit awkward.

"I wonder if she earns a point for that," Komasan thought aloud.

"Let us see, Komasan," Yuray said as she checked the pointer counter, which showed zero. "Oh! Too bad! It seems that despite Keita's small act of kindness, it was too small to be noticeable."

"Therefore, it doesn't count!" Whisper summarized.

"What?! Oh, man…" Keita said in a depressing tone.

After a little bit, Ken stood up and walked towards the door.

"Oh, what is this? Is Master Ken finally making a move?!" Yuray said, looking strangely excited.

"I'm just going to the boys' restroom, Yuray," Ken said.

Suddenly, Fumika was pushed from the side.

"Kya!" She fell off from the chair, but Ken, who was just walking by, caught her before she hit the floor. Only her chair did.

"Fumi-chan!" Kuma, Kanchi, and Keita exclaimed.

"Are you OK?" The girl looked at Ken.

"Oh, um, yeah. I'm ok!" Fumika said as she blushed.

"Nice save! For that, Ken earned…." Whisper checked the point counter above Ken's head.

"Monge! It is 3000!" Komasan exclaimed.

"Amazing! By saving Miss Fumika from falling, Ken earned a higher point than Kuma and Kanchi! He is now ahead of the game," Yuray commented.

"But due to that, the other boys didn't like it! It seems like this game is getting hot!" Whisper stated epically.

"What game? I only did it because I was just passing by and I had to," Ken stated.

After the science class, it was the art class. The students were to draw a vase that stood in the middle of the class.

That was when another incident happened. Satoko, who was sitting next to her, made Fumika drop her pencil.

"Hey!" Fumika yelped.

The boys noticed it. Keita was about to grab it from the floor, but the pencil rolled away. The other boys saw this and tried to use their foot to catch it, but all of them missed until the pencil rolled down and stopped at Ken's foot.

"Hmm? A pencil?" Ken picked it up. "Hey, Fumika. This is yours, right?"

"Oh, thank you, Ken," Fumika said as she got her pencil back.

The boys felt more jealous.

"What another save! Ken picked up a pencil for her!" Whisper stated excitedly. "Now, let's see the update for his points."

The point counter changed from 3000 to 4200.

"Monge! It is now 4200 points! Ken's good at this," Komasan said.

"Good job, Master Ken!" Yuray cheered.

'She's clearly into this now…' Ken thought as he couldn't help it.

After the art class, more strange incidents happened. First, Katie was helping with carrying heavy kinds of stuff, which her classmate and friend, Mika made her carry more loads than necessary. Fortunately, Ken helped her as he was nearby, earning more points. Second, during lunch break, everyone got their pudding except for Fumika. Keita was going to offer his pudding away to Fumika, but Ken beat him to that since he didn't want the pudding,

Close to the end of the school, Ken earned 9900 points.

"Mr. Whisper, what is Ken's total point?" Komasan asked.

"It is OVER 9000!" Whisper exclaimed.

"What?! Over 9000?! That's crazy!" Yuray gasped.

But, third and lastly, it was the classroom cleaning duty. While Fumika was cleaning, Satoko looked at the vase and without thinking, she pushed it away and pretended that she didn't do it.

"Ah!" Fumika yelped, causing the other boys to turn around and also as a response to the broken vase.

That was when the teacher came in.

"Oh! What happened here?" He asked.

"Sensai! I was the one who broke it!" Keita stepped in.

"What is Keita doing?! He wasn't even near the vase to break it!" Whisper exclaimed.

"He's trying to cover Fumika!" Yuray added.

"What a courage, but I don't think it will work," Komasan said.

"No, Sensai, I did it!" Kuma stepped in.

"No, it was me, Sensai!" Kanchi also joined until the rest of the boys joined in. The teacher looked confused and couldn't understand them.

"Aahh…!" Fumika also looked confused, but before she got to say something, Ken stepped in.

"Sensai, it is not their fault," Ken spoke up.

"Huh?!" The boys turned around with a surprised look.

"I saw who did break the vase. It was Satoko!" Ken pointed.

"Say what?!" Everyone gasped, including the Yokai commentators.

"Satoko! Why did you do that?!" Fumika asked.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Satoko asked confusingly.

"Whoa! My Yokai Sense is tingling!" Yuray stated.

"What? Then, that means….!" Ken noticed.

"OK. Miss Satoko, could you please come with me to my office?" The teacher took her away.

Fumika looked over at the broken vase and began cleaning up, but looked sad doing it.

"Why did Satoko do such a thing? This is the very flower that she took care of months," Fumika said aloud. "Now that I think about, all the other girls have been acting mean to me."

'You're Fumika, but not in the way you think,' Ken thought as he looked at Yuray, who noticed that he did.

He ran off and looked for Satoko, but didn't call for her with the teacher. He pointed his watch towards her, and the light revealed a strange shadow.

That shadow revealed to be a Yokai. It was a small chihuahua dog with light pink fur, pint heart-shaped eyes, white angelic wings on its back, red collar with pink hearts, and a large red heart on the chest. At the tip of its tail was a pink heart.

"I knew it! It was that Yokai's doing!" Ken exclaimed.

"Oh no! I've been detected, tee-hee!" The little chihuahua Yokai teased as she flew away.

"Come back here!" Ken chased after it.

"Master Ken, please wait for me!" Yuray chased after him.

They chased and managed to trap her at the school's rooftop.

"Hey, why did you do all of those kinds of stuff?" Ken demanded. "I know that you were the one who caused all of those troubles to Fumika!"

"I… I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause any trouble. I just want to see you and that girl, Fumi-chan together," said the Yokai.

"That is correct." Ken and Yuray were surprised to hear a voice out of nowhere.

A portal opened up, and what came out of was a familiar robotic Yokai.

"Andrey!" Ken and Yuray were surprised to see the future robot of Yuray.

"What are you doing here, Andrey? What's going on?" Ken asked.

"I hired Infatuwawa to get you and Fumika together as a couple as part of my goal," Andrey explained.

Infatuwawa-Tribe: Charming, Attribute: Wind

"Argh…" Ken shrugged. "I should've known something was up earlier. Just why?"

"I… I'm sorry, Mr. Ken. I… I only wanted to do it because, well, I wanted to do it," Infatuwawa said sheepishly.

"What do you mean, Miss Infatuwawa?" Yuray asked.

"You see, when I was just a normal chihuahua, I used to own by a very sweet elderly lady. She owned a small sweets shop, and I helped her with the work there. She made and sold all kinds of sweets to bring people together, especially couples. Seeing couples being happy together made her happy and me happy, too. She even made me cupid wings and this collar I wear because she thinks I was the one who helped her store business for just being with her, but one day, I got into a car accident and next thing I knew, I turned into a Yokai."

"My, that is such a sad, yet the sweet story," Yuray said as she wiped her tears.

"Infatuwawa here is not a bad Yokai. She was only doing her purpose; making people happy," Andry explained.

Ken sighed. "Infatuwawa, I know you have good attention and all, but you can't just force people to be happy together. That can only be decided by the people themselves. Do you understand?"

"I think so. Again, I am deeply sorry," Infatuwawa said. "Do you forgive me?"

"I forgive you," Ken said with a bit of grin.

"Oh, thank you. And as a sign of my apology, please have my medal!" Infatuwawa said happily as she gave him her Yo-Kai medal.

The next day, Ken and the other boys were out on the field at the school.

"Hey, boys!" They all turned their attention to Fumika and the rest of the girls from their class.

All the boys looked excited as they knew this would happen. However, they suspected that Ken would get the most chocolate, so they decided to butt in before he did anything else. Ken just watched from behind the rest of the boys.

"Tra-la! Happy Valentine's Day!" The girls said together as they handed them a basket full of chocolate.

The boys looked confused as well as Ken.

"We decided together that for this year's Valentine, we want to hand you guys a basket of chocolate together," Fumika said. "Enjoy it."

The boys felt dismayed as all their efforts felt nothing. For an odd reason, Ken chuckled a bit and shrugged.

"Well, well, that was anti-climactic!" Whisper announced as he was still playing as the commentator.

"But the good news is, everyone can enjoy a nice basket of delicious chocolate together," Komasan said happily.

"Well, all well ends well, I assume," Yuray guessed before she turned to the screen "Well, everyone. That is all for today. Have a nice and safe rest of your weekend!"

"Who are you talking to?" Whisper asked.

"Yup, see ya, everyone," Komasan added as he waved his hands' goodbye.

"What are you two talking about? Don't ignore me!" Whisper argued.

- Yo-Kai Watch –

Later that day, Ken was walking back home alone.

"Ken!" The boy stopped and turned around to see Fumika running towards him.

"It's Miss Fumika," Yuray said.

She stopped, looking a bit out of breath.

"Fumika, what's wrong?" He asked.

"Sorry to surprise you, but…" Fumika said as she fixed her hair and had something behind her. "I… I just want to say thank you for helping me lately, and also saving me that time I fainted for some reason."

"Oh, OK. Your welcome," Ken replied. 'That's right. It was from the last part.'

Just then, Keita, alongside Whisper and Jibanyan, was walking by until he saw Ken with Fumika. They stopped and watched over them.

"So… I made you this!" She showed him the present shape of a heart.

"A present?" Ken asked.

"Master Ken, this isn't an ordinary present! It's Valentine's Day chocolate!" Yuray exclaimed.

"Ken, I know this is all of a sudden, but…I …. I have a feeling for you!" She shouted.

"Oh my!" Yuray gasped as she was blushed.

Keita, Whisper, and Jibanyan gasped. Keita felt very depressed and surprised the most, though.

"To be honest, I didn't feel anything for you when we first met, but I started having a feeling during that time when all the boys acted weird at school if you remember," Fumika said as she blushed.

'That time…? Oh, the time when Okama-chan took over the school!' He thought.

"Even though you look pretty moody and not so much social with others, you opened up a lot with everyone, and I do want to know more about you. You are smart, courageous, helpful, and also kind. So, Ken, could we be together?" Fumika asked.

'No, Fumi-chan! My life, my life! It's OVER!' Keita thought depressingly.

Ken was surprised by this. He thought for a moment and then said, "Fumika. That's sweet of you and I am flattered but… I don't like you that way."

"Ah!" She gasped.

"Wait, what?" Keita thought aloud.

"To be honest, you are kind of the first person who ever said this to me, but I don't think I can be your boyfriend with you. You are a nice girl, but I only see you as a friend and not more than that. I hope you understand," Ken reasoned.

Fumika looked sad but changed her expression.

"Thank you, Ken. You are honest, and I appreciate your feeling. We can be just a friend," Fumika agreed.

"Master Ken!" Yuray cried, but he ignored her.

"But, you better take that chocolate! It took me two hours to make it!" Fumika stated.

"Sure. My mom will love it," Ken said.

"Well, I feel a lot better now as if all the weight just disappeared," Fumika said, looking relieved. "See you tomorrow, Ken!"

"Master Ken…." Yuray looked sad as she was crying.

"Listen Yuray. I only said what I felt, Ok," Ken said honestly.

"I understand, but I can't believe you let down a girl's love," Yuray said tearfully.

"Whatever. Let's head home," Ken said decisively, leaving her.

"Please wait, Master Ken! Wait up!" Yuray chased after him.

After the area was cleared, Keita, Jibanyan, and Whisper came out of their hiding.

"Wow! Unbelievable!" Whisper exclaimed.

"I know, nyight? I thought Ken would accept it, but he let down Fumika's feeling so easily," Jibanyan said. "Good for you, right, Keita-Kun?"

Whisper and Jibanyan waited for Keita's response, but when they looked at him, he was crying so tearfully like a waterfall.

"I'm so happy! I still have a chance!" He said, overjoyed.

His Yokai pals were sweat dropping to Ken's reaction.

Yuray and Kamilla's Life Tips

"Hello, everyone!" Yuray appeared cheerfully.

"Salutation," Kamilla greeted more formally.

"Today, my big sister, Kamilla and I will give you tips on various subjects to improve your daily life," Yuray said.

"Today's subject is a very important subject to discus, and it is…" Kamilla presented a curtain, which she pulled up to open it and revealed a single word and picture that represented that word.

"Coronavirus!" Yuray announced.

"Since last year, the coronavirus really became a troubling matter to everyone," Yuray said.

"Indeed it did. Millions of people are affected by the virus and it caused a worldwide pandemic," Kamilla added. "Even though several months have passed since the pandemic happened, everyone are still in lockdown, but fortunately, some places are re-opening."

"However, it is important to protect yourselves, so here are some of our tips!" Yuray stated.

"One, wash your hands after yourself. Wash with soup, and wash every parts of hands, like your fingers, in-between fingernails, and around your wrists," Kamilla said as she demonstrated the proper hand-washing.

"Two, cover your sneeze with your arms or sleeves instead of your…. your….ah-chooo!" Yuray covered her sneeze with her arms.

"The virus and other harmful germs spread when we touch things with our hands. As a preventative measure, cover your sneeze with your cloth's sleeves or arms instead of your hands," Kamilla explained.

"Three, when you are outside in public where there are people, wear a mask!" Yuray stated as she was at grocery store with a mask on.

"It's important to be courteous and safe for yourself and others. Keeping a safe, social distancing is also important. Though, some may find it annoying, it shows that you care for your well-being and others' well-being," Kamilla added.

"Four, if you are feeling sick, call your doctor and rest at home!" Yuray said as she was taking care of sicken Whisper in bed.

"Don't push yourself. When you feel sick, contact your doctor, and follow their instructions. If you think you have the coronavirus, perform self-quarantine for at least 14 days. If situation gets worse, contact 911," Kamilla said.

"Ah-choo!" Whisper sneezed. "Wait a second … Why am I the patient?!"

"By doing these simple tips, we can manage even during the pandemic and do our best to take care of ourselves and help everyone," Yuray said positively.

"Though, we don't know how long the pandemic will last or how long we have to take preventative measures, until a proper vaccine or anti-viral drug is made, remember to keep yourself safe and healthy. As extra tips, eat healthy, sleep well, exercise daily, and do your best every day," Kamilla assured.

"Thank you for watching and see you all soon!" Yuray waved goodbye.

Yuray: Master Ken, it's been awhile we did this. Now, who did we meet today?

Ken: Scary Mary and Infatuwawa!

Yuray: Infatuwawa has the power to bring two people into a pair or couple. Using her "heart beam", she can make two people like each other and turn them into couple.

Ken: We didn't exactly see her using the heart beam, didn't we?

Yuray: Maybe next time, Ken.

Ken: Well, let's just don't get too close. It is still wrong to force a people into couple and with how pandemic is going on, it's better to stay a social distance from each other.

Yuray: Indeed, but of course, that doesn't mean you don't care about staying together. It is just another way to show care for your family, friends, and loved ones, even if you are physically separated.
