Beca noticed the gorgeous redhead as soon as she entered the club. Wearing a short black dress that showed off her legs and ass, and was tight in the all the right places, made her stand out. But her red hair and blue eyes are what Beca noticed first.
She watched as Red (as she called her in her mind) walked over and found an empty seat at the bar. She got the bartenders attention and then turned to look around the club. Beca was going to walk over to her when someone stepped in front of her and blocked her vision. By the time she was able to make it through the crowd, she noticed a tall dark haired man next to Red and figured she lost her shot.
Beca went back over to her friends, Stacie and Amy, and sat down. "Where you been Shawshank?" Amy asked.
"I saw a really hot redhead at the bar but she's with some guy," Beca replied, "So, now I'm back here with you losers."
Stacie stood up and walked away from the table. She came back a minute later and said, "I don't think she's "with" that guy. I think she's trying to get rid of him."
"How can you tell?", Beca asked.
"Her body language. She keeps turning away from him and looks really uncomfortable," Stacie said.
"I'm going over there. Even if she's straight, no guy has the right to keep bugging a girl if she's told him to back off," said Beca.
Beca got up and hurried over the bar, the whole time keeping an eye on the redhead and the guy. It was pretty obvious that he was trying way too hard to get her to talk to him. It was also obvious she wasn't interested.
Beca put herself between the redhead and the guy, facing the redhead. She leaned in and whispered in the girl's ear, "I'm Beca. Do you want me to get rid of the douchebag or are you into him?"
"I'm Chloe," the redhead whispered back. Beca moved back a bit and Chloe said, out loud, "Hey, babe, what took you so long?"
Beca winked a the girl and said "You now how the lines are for the ladies room in a place like this."
"Hey!", said the guy as he pushed Beca in the back.
She turned and looked over her shoulder and said, "Can I help you?"
"Yeah," said the guy, obviously drunk, "You can move so I can continue my conversation with this pretty lady."
Beca turned and faced the guy. "Sorry, dude. But she's taken. Now if you'll excuse me, I'd like to continue my date with my girlfriend."
Beca turned back to the redhead but before she could say anything the guy said "Prove it!"
"What?," Beca asked.
"I said, prove it! Prove she's your girlfriend. Kiss her!," he said with a smirk.
Beca sighed. Chloe put her hand on Beca's back but Beca didn't turn around. Instead she said, "We don't have to prove anything to you. There are 2 ways this can go and the end result will be same - you backing the fuck off. It doesn't matter if she is my girlfriend or not, she doesn't want you to buy her a drink, she doesn't want to "get out of here" with you; she just wants you to leave her alone and . ."
The guy tries once more. He stares down at the brunette and says, "Obviously she's not your girlfriend or you-" He was cut off when Chloe stood up and turned Beca around and kissed her. Hard. Beca took a few seconds but started kissing her back. And man what a kiss it was.
They both pulled apart when breathing became an issue. It took them a few seconds to catch their breath. Beca looked at Chloe and whispered, "Did he leave?"
Chloe whispered back, "Do you really care?"
"Nope," Beca said as she leaned in for another kiss.
