Authors note: Hi!, this is my first Inuyasha fic so please read and review, If I get alot of reviews I'm thinking of writing a sequal to this fic. and as always here are the disclaimers. I don't own anything about Inuyasha and I have no money so pleeeeeeeasssssse don't sue me cause all you'll get is a house plant and some pocket lint.
Static Cling
It was another beautiful day on Kagome's side of the well,Kagome sighed as she slipped on the new boots she had just got at the store. Kagome was hoping to show the boots to her friends but knew they would be wasted on her trip through the well. Kagome was almost done packing for another trip to Feudal Japan when she heard a tapping on her window. Kagome turned to see Inuyasha sitting outside her window, but was surprised to see that Shippo was with him. Kagome walked over to let the two youkai's in her room.
"KAGOME!!" shippo cried as he jumped into her arms"What are you doing here Shippo?" Kagome asked. "I wanted to see your den" shippo said looking around Kagome's room. Shippo jumped from Kagome's arm and started rummaging through Kagome's room amazed at the things he found. Kagome looked at Inuyasha.
"How did he get here?" she asked.
Inuyasha made a face "I told the brat he couldn't come but as I was jumping through the well he grabed onto my kimono" Kagome had finally noticed Shippo was rummaging through her sock and underwear draw when she finally decided he had enough adventures in her room. She went to pull him out of the draw, when a spark lept from her fingers to Shippo's body. Shippo let out a yelp and jumped from the draw, but had various articles of undergarments stuck to him, and the hair that had not been covered with underwear or socks was now sticking up every wich way. Kagome didn't know what to do, she found Shippo's situation extremly funny, but she didn't like Inuyasha seeing her underwear. She quickly picked shippo up and started pealing underwear and socks off the small kitsune.
Shippo who was still fased from the shock blinked a couple of times before looking up at Kagome "WHAT THE F***K WAS THAT?!!!!" Shippo was not happy, Kagome put him on her bed and he tried to smooth out his tail.
Inuyasha was grinning like an idiot "what sort of magic was that?" Inuyasha asked Kagome. "Magic?...that wasn't magic. It's called static shock"
"Sta.....tic." Inuyasha sounded out the word "How does one create this sta...tic?" he asked.
"Well, if you rub something like metal against a carpet if creates energy wich can be transferd through touching...since I have new boots on it makes getting a static shock alot easier. But static also makes things stick together, if you find something light enough and make it staticy you can make it stick to a wall" Kagome said putting more things in her pack.
Inuyasha sniffed the air "mmmmm. Kagome do you have any of the noodles you brought last time."
"you mean ramen? yea it's in the kitchen, I'll go get some to pack" Kagome left Inuyasha and Shippo in her room alone.
Inuyasha suddenly grabbed Shippo and started rubbing him on the carpet. "WhAT ARE YOU DOING YOU IDIOT!!!" Shippo cried. Inuyasha didn't say anything, but pulled shippo from the carpet and stuck him to the wall.
"Hmmm, I think I like this static thing." Inuyasha mummbled to himself. Shippo was stuck to the wall like velcro.
"LET ME DOWN YOU BAS***D!!!!!" shippo cried. Inuyasha grabbed one of Kagome's socks and stuffed it in Shippo's mouth to muffle the kitsune's cries. Inuyasha grabbed Kagome's pack and headed out to meet Kagome in the kitchen.
"Where's Shippo?" Kagome asked.
"Ummm, he decided to go ahead through the well, he said he would meet us on the otherside when we get there" Inuyasha says slyly 'feh, if that kid thinks he's gonna ruin my time with Kagome he's got another thing coming' Inuyasha thought. With Kagome's rucksack in his hand, him and Kagome headed off towards the well.
