This is just a brief note to advise that i have edited the story and posted the revised version. I hope all of the errors have been fixed but don't count on it.

I have made a few small tweaks in the text but the only one of significance pertains to mary joining a nunnery. As nunneries (Anglican or Catholic) were not permitted until about the 1840's, i have had Mary travel to France after the war has ended to join a nunnery there.

As well, a few reviewers have noted that Elizabeth, by virtue of her husband's knighthood,, could be called Lady Fitzwilliam (Not Lady Elizabeth as that is reserved for women who are the daughters of an earl - or greater.)
