Dean stopped his pacing and arm-flailing and stared at Sam. A MUD MONSTER?"

"That's what it says."

"Dude, how do we fight a Mud Monster?"

Sam snuffled, rubbing at a drip of snot escaping his nose. He shrugged listlessly. "I dunno, Dean."

"You don't know?! Doesn't it say right there?" Dean thrust a finger at the laptop.

"Nope."

Dean ran a hand through his hair, mussing it. "Oh, this isn't gonna go well."

Dean was right. It wasn't going well. They'd thrown everything they had at the creature—salt, iron, silver, herbs, bullets, knives, fireworks. All for naught.

"S-S-a-am!" Dean spluttered as the Mud Monster wrapped its slimy arms around him again and squeezed.

Ah-choo! Ah-choo!

"Aaaaaaaaany time...now!" Dean begged breathlessly.

Sam wheezed his way through the last of the latest spell.

With a sludgey screech, the monster reared back and exploded into a million brown drops, covering both the Winchesters in muck.

Dean's grin was bright white against his dirty face. "You did it, Sammy! What spell was that anyway?"

Ahhh-choo! "I...uh...I made it up."

"You made it up?"

"Yeah." Sam started to laugh. "I made it up."
