Described In One Word

"Let's play a psychology game," suggested the young redheaded lawyer to her colleague, one dull day at the office. "I name a person we both know, and you have to describe that person in one word."

Normally her companion would make some sort of excuse to avoid getting roped into whatever harebrained scheme she or the others had cooked up, but this time even he was thoroughly bored, which was a rare occasion indeed.

"Eh, why not?" Apollo agreed. "Go ahead."

Athena excitedly punched her open palm. "OK...hmm...let's start with...Phoenix Wright."

"Inspiring," said Apollo immediately.

"Agreed," Athena smiled. "How about Simon Blackquill?"

"Intimidating."

"Only until you get to know him...Trucy Wright?"

"Mischievous."

"Prosecutor Edgeworth?"

"Calm."

"This one might be a little tricky...Maya Fey."

Apollo paused. He didn't know her all that well. "Unique," he settled on.

"I like it! You're good at this!" Athena exclaimed. Apollo thought that she might be getting just a little too excited over a silly game, but it didn't matter. Seeing that megawatt smile was worth it.

"Give me another one."

"Juniper Woods."

"Shy."

"True enough...Ema Skye."

Apollo paused again. It was tough to sum Ema up in one word. "Dedicated?"

"Sounds fitting. Now how about...Athena Cykes?" Athena tried, and failed, to control the blush that grew on her cheeks.

Before his mind could register the question and recognize the trap she'd set for him, Apollo's mouth started working. "Beautiful."
