So, earlier this morning my uncle passed away from complicated diabetes. :'( I miss him a lot. The following poem wasn't written by me, though.

You were my uncle but you were my friend

Nurturing, supporting a substitute parent to the end

I think you know I loved you although I didn't say

And I will miss you more than any words can convey
