Do you ever just see one fanart and think how perfect it fits your characters and how it gives you inspo for a story? Yeah, that happened today with me. I can't help but love the thought of Chika and Michiru getting a dog, especially a cute one like the one from your local doge meme.

Warning: I didn't proofread or add anything extra once I was finished with a sentence. I just wanted to write this off me.

There are things that people regret. It could range from never saying goodbye to loved ones to not doing one's best at school. Chika had them too, much to some people's surprise.

One of them involve's adopting this dog.

It isn't that he hates the small Shiba Inu. In fact, it was his idea to get him. Michiru wanted a cat instead, but the cuteness of the dog manage to convince them to get the puppy.

The problem is that Michiru got too attached to the dog. There wouldn't go a day by without the singularity spending lots of time with the canine. The pinkette would walk him, clean him, leaving Chika to do other household choirs when his fiancée couldn't.

In the rather big mansion that Michiru inherited from her parents, it seemed it would be just like yesterday. Both just came back from college, tired and too lazy to do anything. The female was free today while her boyfriend would have his shift as a cook at a local restaurant not too far away from them.

Their dog barked happily and jumped on Michiru's lap. She would giggle, and would stop once she heard Chika grumble. Surprise would come hither on her face, and the Shiba Inu is instantly quiet ( as if the male had commanded him to do so ).

' ... Honey, what's wrong? ' Michiru would inquire, their pet going off her lap and on the ground. He'd stare at his owners as Chika changed his position into a sitting one, facing away from his lover. ' Chika? '

The female would gently grab her soon-to-be husband, forcing him to look at her. A pout is on his face as he looked at his legs, finding it more interesting.

It would take a few minutes before Michiru realised what is going on. She was always perceptive, being able to guess correctly what is on the golden-eyed male's mind.

Instead of looking more worried, she'd chuckle, and her eyes started to glaze themselves with mirth before it bubbled into an outright fit of laughter. Chika noticed it quick, having peeked a glance, and blushed slightly before looking straight into emerald hues.

' Why are you laughing?! '

' I can't believe you are jealous, ' Michiru said between breaths taken, trying to calm herself down from this hilarious revelation. Well, hilarious for her. Chika certainly didn't seem to think so.

' Am not! '

' You are. You're as red as a tomato.' However, the pinkette would soon stop and close the distance between them. Even when it was quick, she could see the assurance that floated within her human lover's eyes along with the string of embarrassment.

' Geez, if you wanted me to spend more time with you, just say so. ' She'd bop him on the head, making him react with a quick hey!. ' Life's too short, so say anything before you regret it. '

Sensing that the situation is a bit better than it was before, the Shiba Inu would crawl on Chika's leg and curl up there. With a loving gaze, he'd ruffle and pet its fur.

' How fucking embarrassing... getting jealous of a dog. '

Michiru would hold onto the smile she had on her face, and stood up. It was a half hour before Chika had to leave for work, and she had a good plan.

' Since you have work... Shall we drop Kuro at Shito and dine at your work? ' Michiru suggests. Chika would think before nodding.

' Sounds good. However, I'll rather have him being at Koyomi. Still don't fucking trust that Shit-Shito-Son-Of-A-Bitch. '

And Michiru couldn't help the giggle.
