Phew. Over a year's absence, but here I am.

Hello to everyone who still has this in their followed/favorited list. I'd say there's a good chance you all forgot this was a thing. Can't really blame you, though. Like I said before, it's been over a year. Not only since I uploaded, but really since I've worked on this story.

There's a pretty simple reason for that. I've had a lot to deal with over the last year and change. I'm not going to go too far into it. That's not what you guys are here for. You want action and blood, not some dumbass online dumping all his personal problems on you.

Instead, I'll summarize. I've been busy. Work picked up, school's kicking my ass, a new crop of health issues, and some family members dying unexpectedly. Oh, and college applications.

But, bottom line is, I didn't have time to keep working on this. And I honestly just... kind of forgot about it. I've had a lot of pressing things on my mind, and this story kind of took a backseat until I just forgot. But that's not fair to all of you.

The main problem is, if I start writing this again, I don't know who's going to read it. I don't know who'll still be interested after that break. But at the end of the day, I'm not writing this for all of you. I'm writing this because I'm a sick, sadistic, incredibly messed up person who likes to write about fictional characters killing each other brutally. So here's the bottom line.

I see two ways forward with this. One, I drop the story. Leave what I have, and move on. Write some other stuff and get it up there to share with you all. Two, I reboot it. I didn't mean for this to happen semi-concurrently with Overwatch 2, but since it's happened, why not capitalize on it? Move forward into Overwatch 2, new brutal kills, new matchups, new everything.

If anybody's still around and cares about this, let me know which way you're leaning. One way or another, I'll make a decision at the end of the week.

And if there is still anybody there... Thanks for caring about my garbage writing. Let's see if it gets better going into 2020.

EDIT: Alright, I've come to my decision, for anyone who cared. I'm going to leave it up with what I have, and start writing some other stories. I won't abandon this story completely. I've still got a soft spot for it, and I do want ti try and write more of it. But I also want to write more, and work on some other ideas I've had. So, there you have it. Anybody still interested in this, stay tuned, something might come in a while. I'm not sure how many other Overwatch or TF2 fics I'll write, but who knows?
