Notes:This is a new collection that's going to hold more poetic writing. I'm trying to expand my writing and dive into poetry a bit, so I'm going to add them all to one collection.
The desolate, dark, damp, dungeon destroyed any desire or delight. Walls towered above and around, depriving domestic needs, and a window which does nothing but display the unblocked freedom Sirius lacked.
The days moved forward, dim and dreary as always. Sirius dared not move or even blink. The howls and moans and growls and groans echoed through the chamber, damaging sensitive ears and attracting Dementors. Depression doused every wall and floor, and all air to breathe was bitter and stale. Still, a feeling remained. One true feeling that filled him with happiness and hopelessness.
Desperate feelings, demented thoughts and daft sounds surrounded his prison, but buried deep in the depths of his bones was this one feeling. Diminutive and delicate, it lurked. A delicious feeling, delectable. A feeling he recognised, and yet, it was the only feeling he wished would disappear. Then, he might be able to pass in peace.
The warm feeling dispersed through his blood, the only warmth he knew. Warm like the yellow from memory. The wide, bright, world-weary eyes and fat red lips cracked and caked in dirt. Pink dusted skin like pollen in the air when those lips turned up, and soft sandy hair tussled with disarray.
Remus.
The only warmth in his desolate, dark, damp, dungeon. His one true desire.
