Hey everyone.
I am so sorry for the delay with this chapter, I am dealing with tons of things at the moment. I left my ex after 8 years together, and now I am living with him until he can get a new department. My father has been in and out of the hospitals, and I am getting the hang on my new job.
So between all that and my huge writers block, I just didn't had the guts or wanted to write. I am still strugling, so don't expect a new chapter just around the corner.
I hope you all are well, and can forgive me for my delay. Hope you enjoy the chapter.
A huge thank you to Madamkitten, she has been a great friend with all this I have been struggling with. Thank you!
Love Kalilje.
Chapter 20
Hermione stood shaking with Rodolphus at her side. They were outside of the shrieking shack, waiting for the Order to show up.
Voldemort had gathered most of his followers, who were spread out over the area. Bellatrix stood with her sister to the left of Voldemort. Luna and Ginny stood beside Hermione, waiting patiently.
"It's almost midnight, my Lord." Rodolphus said.
"Let's hope they keep their word." Bellatrix grinned. Voldemort smirked, and looked at the house, when several small pops could be heard.
All the Death Eaters drew their wands and pointed it at the Order. Dumbledore came strolling up with Kingsley at his side.
"Tom, I see you want to make a deal." Dumbledore said and looked at Voldemort.
"Yes, you can have your girl's, when I get my men back!" Voldemort hissed.
"Hermione, Ginny, Luna, are you unharmed?" Kingsley asked.
Hermione nodded slightly.
"Bring the prisoners forth." Dumbledore yelled.
Sirius and Remus came walking, with their wands pointed straight at the three men in front of them. Hermione tried to catch Rabastan's eye, but not one of them would look at them.
"My Lord, that is not my brother!" Rodolphus whispered to Voldemort.
"No, indeed it is not. I believe they try and take us for fools." Voldemort said quietly to Rodolphus.
"Bring the girl's over here Tom, and you can get your men!" Dumbledore said with a strong voice.
"Do you take me for a fool Albus?" Voldemort asked.
"I don't know what you are talking about Tom." Dumbledore said.
"These are not my men!" Voldemort hissed and threw a spell towards Remus. He quickly dodged it, and the three imposters ran towards Hermione and Luna and Ginny.
Ginny tried to get to Fenrir, when she saw him battling an auror.
"No, Ginny, don't! We need to stay here!" Luna said and grabbed a hold on Ginny.
The three imposters ran over to the girl's, and each took off.
"Wotcher Hermione?" the imposter looking like Rabastan said while winking. The person transformed into Tonks, grinning.
"Tonks?" Hermione asked.
"We need to leave, grab a hold on me, I'll apparate you to safety at Headquarters." Tonks said, and before Hermione could help it, they were apparating away with a pop.
They landed outside a big house, in the middle of nowhere.
"Where are we?" Hermione asked as they heard two pops behind them. Ginny and Luna appeared. Ginny was holding on lto Charlie Weasley's arm, and Luna was trembling in George Weasley's arms.
"We are at out new safehouse. Come, let's get you inside. Quickly now." Tonks said and pushed them gently towards the door. They only just made it inside, when Molly Weasley came running towards Ginny.
"Oh Ginny, my sweet, sweet girl. Are you alright?" Molly sobbed as she hold onto her tightly.
"Mum, I'm fine." Ginny said and tried to get out of the embrace.
"You look so different. Something's changed. What happened to you?" Molly said and eyed her daughter.
"She is different Mum, I can smell it." Bill Weasley's voice came from the hallway, he narrowed his eyes toward his sister.
"What do you mean?" Molly asked, first looking between her son and daughter.
"Fenrir Greyback bit me mum, I'm a werewolf." Ginny said, saving Bill the trouble.
"Oh no! Not you, please not you! My baby!" Molly sobbed, embracing her daughter again.
"Mum, I'm okay, really!" Ginny said and patted her mother's back.
"Oh and Luna, Hermione dear, I am so happy to have you here as well. All safe and sound, I was worried sick!" Molly said as she finally ended the embrace with her daughter, and took the other girl's in her embrace.
"Thank you Mrs. Weasley, it's good to be back." Luna said with her dreaming voice, when the rest of the Order appeared behind them.
"Let's go into the sitting room, there you can tell us everything you know and saw." Remus said as he embraced the girl's. Smelling at Ginny's hair.
"Did he?" Remus asked looking at Ginny.
"Yes, he bit me." Ginny said pushing the other werewolf away from her. Hermione knew that Ginny was scared of the other Alpha, she could see it, when Ginnys hands began to tremble, and her pupils dialated.
"MIONE! GINNY!"
Hermione barely got her bearings before she almost fell over from the impact. Harry stood embracing her and soon tried to move to embrace Ginny.
"NO!" Ginny screamed and stepped out of his reach. Harry looked at her, with hurt in his eyes.
"Ginny?" Molly tried to reason with her daughter.
"Please, just don't touch me." Ginny whispered and went behind Luna.
"Ginny? What's wrong? I love you, and I'm so happy that you are safe, back here, with me. I need you." Harry tried to move over to her again, when she growled at him, flashing her fangs in the progress. He stopped, and took a step back.
"No, not you." Harry whispered.
"Please, just don't touch me." Ginny pleaded.
"Why don't we go in and sit everyone, then we can talk about what happened while you were being held captive." Sirius said as he took Harry and pushed him into the sitting room.
"Dumbledore took the place at the head of the table, looking down on the entire Order and Aurors.
"Has something happened since last you were here? Is there anything you can tell us? Did the Death Eaters tell you something? Did you hear of anything, anything at all? Sometimes even the most mundane thing can be of great significance" Dumbledore asked, looking at the girl's.
"No, nothing. We were being held in the dungeons, they took us out to torture us some days, and Fenrir took Ginny with her and bit her." Hermione said, looking down. She had her hands around her stomach, trying to think of some way, that she could find out if Rabastan and the others were alive.
"Well, that's most unfortunate. Are you certain that you didn't hear anything, do try to remember we need to end this soon and all help are appreciated." Dumbledore said.
"We didn't hear of anything Headmaster, I wish we could be of more help." Hermione said.
"Did you kill the men you had captured?" Ginny asked, looking at her mother and father.
"No, we have them down in the cellar. Don't worry, they won't be able to escape, or harm you. We have them bound magically and they are quite beaten up. As long as they are bound, they can't control their magic. It's a old and ancient spell, we found in my families library." Sirius grinned, looking quite proud.
"You beat them? That's horrible!" Hermione asked shocked, looking around at all the people at the table.
"Yes, Hermione. Those men down there beat you, tortured you. They held you captive! Ginny is a werewolf for Gods sake! We had to try and get information from them, in any way that we could" Remus said, looking down, upset about what had become of them.
Hermione didn't answer, she just looked over at Harry, who was sitting right next to Dumbledore. They didn't look ashamed at all.
They sat at the table for several hours, discussing all kinds of things, and Hermione made sure to remember the most important bits. They ate dinner that Molly had made, and soon were ready to go to bed.
"You three young ladies, can have this room." Remus said and opened a door. There was not much for furniture, just three small beds, and a couple old chairs sitting in front of a fire.
"Thank you, Remus." Luna said and moved inside.
"If you need anything, don't hesitate in calling. Get some sleep, you are all safe here now." Remus said as he closed the door behind him. As soon as he was out, Ginny let out a large growl and Hermione broke down.
"They beat him, they beat Rabastan!" Hermione sobbed, holding her hands to her stomach.
"We need to find them, we need to find them and get them out of here." Ginny growled.
"How? We don't have any wands or anything." Luna said, holding Hermione to her.
"Then we need to steal one! I can't stand it here. I can feel this pull towards Fenrir, I won't be able to stay here for too long. And I am sure Remus knows that. The way he looks at me and smells my hair, I am sure he can smell Fenrir all over me. He must." Ginny growled as she sat down at one of the small beds.
"I can steal a wand or two." Luna dreamingly said.
"How?" Hermione asked.
"Don't worry about that." Luna said as she went out the door.
"Do you think she can do it?" Ginny asked looking towards the door.
"Perhaps, if we are lucky. But how do we get inside the cellar?" Hermione asked.
"We will have to be careful. I can smell if anyone is down there, and then we can sneak in, get them out and apparate back." Ginny said.
"Yes, let's see if Luna can steal some wands, and then we can see what we can do." Hermione said as she went over to a bed and laid down. She really hoped Rabastan and the others were alright, and not beaten half dead.
They waited for what felt like hours before Luna came back inside their room.
"Did you get a wand?" Hermione asked and quickly went over to Luna.
"Yes, the Nargles helped me. I am terribly sorry that I had to steal your father's wand Ginny, but he was the most convenient to steal from. I don't think he has noticed it yet." Luna said and handed the wand to Ginny.
"It's okay, he won't notice before it's to late. He was a good choice Luna." Ginny said sadly.
"Is anyone up?" Hermione asked.
"No, Mr. Weasley went to bed right after I got his wand. I am not sure if there is anyone who is guarding the door to the cellars, however." Luna said.
"Let me go first, if the coast is clear, I'll let you know." Ginny said.
Hermione nodded and watched as Ginny made it to the door and opened it, she looked up and down the hall, before she closed the door behind her.
"Don't worry Hermione, I am sure that Rabastan is safe." Luna said.
"I am sorry Luna, I wasn't thinking of you. Draco is down there to, I am so sorry." Hermione said.
"I know Draco is fine, I can feel it." Luna said and smiled.
"I am happy for you, Luna." Hermione said and smiled.
"Thank you, Hermione." Luna said.
They sat in silence until Ginny returned.
"Damn him, I can't stand that they get so close." Ginny said as she closed the door behind her.
"What happened?" Hermione asked.
"Harry tried to corner me, to get me to open up. I really had to battle my wolf. I wanted so badly to bite him. He wanted me to come with him, he wanted to get together again. I can't stand the thought. I only want Fenrir to touch me." Ginny said as she shuddered.
"Did you find anyone else out there?" Hermione asked.
"No, there wasn't anyone at the door, so I think the coast is clear. You and Luna can go down there, and I'll keep watch." Ginny said as the three girl's started to walk towards the cellar.
They found the door quickly, and silently opened it, and walked inside. Ginny stood outside the door, sniffing the air.
"They are all asleep, go down there now." Ginny said.
Hermione and Luna quietly went down the small, narrow staircase and came to a long hall. There wasn't any light at all, so they had to feel their way through. They got to a door, and Luna tried to opened it. The door clicked opened right away, and she gently pushed the door up. Hermione gasped, as she saw Draco hanging from the ceiling, his arms bound to a hook. His bare chest and arms were covered in deep cuts, and blood was pooled on the floor below his dangling feet. His head was hanging, looking down at the floor.
Luna ran over to him, and gently took his face into her hands. Hermione saw Draco as he recognized her, and Luna kissed his cheek. Hermione quickly moved to the next door, and opened it.
Dolohov was hanging from a hook in the ceiling in the same way as Draco, but he didn't move an inch when Hermione approached him.
"Dolohov? Antonin? Wake up." Hermione quietly said as she looked up at his face.
She couldn't hear the words he stammered, and went outside, to find Rabastan.
Hermione opened the door beside Dolohov's cell, and looked inside, she was sure her gasp and her yelling of his name could be heard all over the house.
"RABASTAN!"
