First off, many thanks to those who reviewed this fic, I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the current story arc picks up where the last chapter left, in which the Lazer arc reaches its conclusion, as Nanami and Akamatsu will team up, but whether this would form an alliance or the opposite remains to be seen…

At Hope's Peak University Hospital, the scene shifts at a hallway where he is told by a passing nurse that Chiaki Nanami is seen leaving with another girl, and the CCTV footage showed that the other girl was Kaede Akamatsu, and Kamukura was livid, where Jin tried to calm him down, to no avail, and his tantrum is beginning to attract attention.

Jin urged Kamukura to let things slide as he believe that Chiaki and Akamatsu are going to stop the Monokuma and save the patient, but Kamukura would not have it as he does not want an intern and an outsider to hog all the glory.

"Sir, please calm down…"

"How can I calm down?"

"…"

"We got an intern…an expelled doctor…an outsider and an intruder!"

"Sir…"

"Hajime will lose if he lets those idiots run the show!"

"Now, now…let's not…"

"I must tell Hajime to do something or everything will be lost!"

By then Hajime Hinata passes by as he has an appointment with a patient, and there Kamukura ordered his distant grandson to go out there and deal with the Monokuma, but Hinata coldly rebuked him, saying he has a patient to attend to, but Kamukura insisted that Hinata deal with the Monokuma as it is important to bring glory to Hope's Peak University Hospital.

However, Hinata mocked him for being foolish and tells him to go home and retire, saying that the university hospital does not need an old man whining all the time like a spoiled brat, which infuriated Kamukura.

"Wha…what was that?"

"Go home and retire."

"How dare you!"

"This hospital is better off without a whining hermit like you."

"Why you!"

"Go home already."

"Don't you talk to me like that!"

"How boring."

As Hinata left, a seething Kamukura is being restrained by Jin and urges him to calm down and forget what Hinata just said, but Kamukura would not back down and insisted that he must teach his distant grandson a lesson on respecting his elder and that he should not let Hinata be spoiled as he is being groomed to be the next successor.

"Let me go!"

"Calm down, sir!"

"I will teach that brat a lesson!"

"Just forget what he said…"

"I did not raise him to become an arrogant punk!"

"He's just stressed after…"

"It's not an excuse! Now let me go!"

"Calm down, sir!"

As the argument continues, an unseen figure is lurking nearby, and having overheard the discussion, the unseen figure left undetected, intending to find out where to go next.

Ch. 28: Chokuzen no shōtotsu

The scene shifts at the doctors' lounge where Hinata is seen calming himself, as he ponder on what to do next, as he is still annoyed at his grandfather for persistently urging him not to be overshadowed by numerous rivals that Kamukura claims as threats over who will be heir in succeeding him as head if Hope's Peak University Hospital.

So far Hinata encountered a few whom he sees as obstscles, which are:

- Chiaki Nanami. An intern in pediatrics and is said to be an expert in video games

- Nagisa Shigetsu. A younger teen who is said to be a prodigy in radiology but loses his license three years ago due to an incident. For some reason Hinata bears a grudge against him.

- Kaede Akamatsu. An outsider who is not affiliated with Hope's Peak, but he is quite alarmed that she has possession of the Game Driver and is able to transform.

His trail of thoughts was interrupted when his assistant, Mikan Tsumiki, came and told him that a patient arrived at the emergency room and that Hinata is needed to perform an operation, which Hintata stood up and tells Mikan that he will be there and instructed her to prepare everything, which she nodded in reply as the two leave the lounge.

"Is that so?"

"Y-yes…"

"Good."

"Huh?"

"We shall go. An operation will take place."

"O-okay."

"Prepare the tools."

"Y-yes, sir."

Much later, the scene shifts at an open area, which is a highway, and it is shown that Akamatsu is able to trace Chabashira via her smartphone that has a GPS, and there they were able to find the Monokuma, and there Akamatsu tells Chiaki that she is counting on her help in defeating the Monokuma and save Chabashira, which Chiaki nodded.

"There's that thing."

"Yes, I see it, Akamatsu-san."

"I'll be counting on your help, ace gamer.."

"Sure."

"Please…help me save Tenko-chan."

"I will, Akamatsu-san."

"Then let's do it."

"Right."

As the Monokuma is getting ready, the two girls braced themselves as they fastened the Game Driver around their waists and formed the belt, and then took out their Gashats to prepare their transformations to engage in battle.

Gashat: "BAKUSOU BIKE!"

Gashat: "MIGHTY ACTION-X!"

Several holographic projections, in the form of GAME BLOCKS (for Mighty Action-X) and GAME TROPHIES (for Bakusou Bike) appeared and surrounded the area, and there Chiaki and Akamatsu inserted their respective Gashats into their Game Drivers as they initiate their transformations to engage the Monokuma in battle to commence their mission to rescue Chabashira.

"Henshin."

"Henshin."

Cartridge: "GASHATO! LET'S GAME! ME-CHA GAME! MU-CHA GAME! WHA-CHA NAME? I'M A KAMEN RIDER!!"

-TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE-

The scene shows that Chiaki is surrounded by a series of holographic images that are encircling around her, and she tapped one of the images with her finger, and the image went towards Chiaki, encasing her in a whitish armor which made her resembled a human adult sized, chibi-looking armored figure, which vaguely resembled an armored trooper from Star Wars, the only difference is that the helmet's EYES were so big making it look like a super-deformed person.

Another noticeable feature is that the armored person sports a BANGS, which is colored pink, implying that it has a HAIR.

-END TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE-

Cartridge: " GASHATO! LET'S GAME! ME-CHA GAME! MU-CHA GAME! WHA-CHA NAME? I'M A KAMEN RIDER!"

-TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE-

The scene shows that Akamatsu is surrounded by a series of holographic images that are encircling around her, and instead of using her palm to tap one of the images, she did a jumping spinning roundhouse kick to tapped one of the images, and the image went towards Akamatsu, encasing her in a whitish armor which made her resembled a human adult sized, chibi-looking armored figure, which vaguely resembled an armored trooper from Star Wars, the only difference is that the helmet's EYES were so big making it look like a super-deformed person.

Another noticeable feature is that the armored person sports a yellow motorcycle helmet with red spikes, and she is armed with a pair of wrist gauntlets with motorcycle wheels that act as weapons. She now assumes Level 1 form.

-END TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE-

Assuming their Level 1 forms, Chiaki transformed into a Kamen Riders Ex-Aid, and Akamatsu transforms into Kamen Rider Lazer, and there the Monokuma, still in the form of a ringworm/wheel form, began to flee the scene, and there Lazer told Ex-Aid to hop on as they are going to RACE their way to stop the Monokuma.

"Ace gamer!"

"Huh?"

"Hop on!"

"Huh..? Oh, yeah…right. A racing-type scenario."

"Yeah…I couldn't chase that thing by my own earlier…"

"And that's a why you needed my help…"

"Yeah, so let's go!"

"Okay!"

Lazer then flips the lever on the Game Driver as she gets ready to assume Level 2 form.

Gashat: "LEVEL UP! BAKUSOU! DOUKSOU! GEKISOU! BOUSOU! BAKUSOU BIKE~KU-OOOH!"

-TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE-

The scene shows that Lazer flew up in the air before going to the ground, where she began DRIVING as the wheels on her wrists took her, then her armored body began to DISENGAGE, heaving only her armored head and torso, then her arms and legs reattaches in a different way, and she now resembled an anthropomorphic motorcycle. She now assumes Level 2 form.

-END TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE-

Lazer then tells Ex-Aid to hop on as the race to save Chabashira commences, which Ex-Aid realized that time is of the essence and nodded and said that she is on board.

"Okay, Nanami."

"Huh?"

"It's the moment of truth!"

"Oh…yeah."

"You ready?"

"Yes."

"Then let's roll!"

"Right!"

Hopping on, Ex-Aid boarded Lazer's motorcycle form and they began to chase after the opponent, where it ran faster, but Ex-Aid became determined and toggled the handle bar to increase the speed, where they soon catch up with the Monokuma, yet the target began to move erratically in an effort to lose its pursuers.

There Lazer tells Ex-Aid that she need to level up in order to weaken the target so Chabashira would be saved and for the Monokuma to be defeated for good, which Ex-Aid sees the logic in Lazer's words.

"Nanami!"

"Huh?"

"You need to level up!"

"Eh?"

"If we are to save Chabashira…"

"I get it!"

"Then get to it!"

"Right!"

Ex-Aid then flips the lever of the Game Driver then jumps up in the air as she undergo the transformation from Level 1 to Level 2.

Cartridge: "LEVEL UP! MIGHTY JUMP! MIGHTY KICK! MIGHTY-MIGHTY ACTION X!"

-TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE-

The scene shows that the armored Chiaki jumps up in the air, then does a flying kick before her armored arms and legs DETACHED, and another set of arms and legs appear, along with the head, and there you can see that the armored Chiaki emerges, now in a sleeker armor that is colored pink, and she now resembled her natural height, and her chest armor is silver which has a controller pad, her second armored form no longer sports her SUPER DEFORMED look, and thus she now has added agility and can move more naturally.

Another noticeable feature is that the armored person sports a BANGS, which is colored pink, implying that it has a HAIR.

-END TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE-

Once in Level 2, Ex-Aid descends, where Lazer catches her and the two proceeded to give chase, and soon catches up, where Lazer uses her will power and managed to overrun the Monokuma, where Ex-Aid briefly re-assume Level 1 form, then brings out the Gashacon Breaker in hammer form and jumps, where she pummeled the Monokuma several times before it EXPLODED, releasing Chabashira and she grabbed her and gives her to Lazer.

After that Ex-Aid assumes Level 2 form and proceeded to weaken the Monokuma until it is defeated, where its remains are there.

Ex-Aid then saw Lazer re-assume Level 1 and started to take samples of the Monokuma remains, in which Ex-Aid asked what is she doing, and after being told, Ex-Aid could not believe that she has been deceived, but Lazer does not seem to care and proceeded to take more samples, ignoring Ex-Aid's complains.

"Hey!"

"…"

"What is this about?"

"…"

"Akamatsu!"

"…"

"Are you listening to me?"

"…"

However, an unexpected entrant shows up, which turn out to be the black Ex-Aid, who is already in Level 2, and there he uses the gauntlet on his right forearm to open fire, destroying the samples and narrowly missed Lazer, and there she demanded to know why he destroyed the evidences, yet he did not say a word while staring menacingly at her.

"Hey!"

"…"

"What's the big idea?"

"…"

"Are you allied with the Monokuma?"

"…"

"Hey!"

"…"

Hope you like this chapter, as the action shows and delivered, a racing theme battle which saved Chabashira, yet Akamatsu appeared to have an agenda of her own…

Despite Nanami's protests, Akamatsu is doing her thing until the Black Ex-Aid showed up…
