I got this done on Christmas! Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays whichever you prefer!

Alright here we go. Final chapter! Thank you all for being so patient with me and sticking with me this whole time. Man... Force of Nature took me three years to complete... its crazy now that I think about it.

Time for the final Ask the Cast!

Guest asks: Prince Hasef. With Force of Nature currently in the custody of the ZPD in the Western Region, what are you goind to do about the rest of the organization in your nation? Plus, what will happen to Preypred City and its population?

Hasef: King Hasef... Now that the terrorist organization Force of Nature is apprehended, I shall be moving appointed diplomats to Preypred City to begin reorganization. More will be explained later.

If there were any other questions, don't worry I did see them. But they are not answered here because they will be answered later in this chapter.

Lets do this!

Bunnyburrow

Stu stood outside one of the seed storage bins for his coming crops he would soon be planting. Waving the delivery truck off. Once the truck was a cloud of dust in the distance, Stu dove his hand into the seeds. Pulling up a pawfull and letting them slip through his fingers. Glossy and clean, just as they needed to be.

It should be a good year this year. Plenty of rain on the horizon. Predicted to be a mild year. The soil was well tilled and fill of nutrients. As usual, he had carrots. But he got a bit more this year too. Some corn, and radishes were in the mix as well, having their own designated plots.

It had been four days since that terrible night in Zootopia. And neither Stu, or Bonnie had heard hide nor hair of Judy or Nick. The last they heard, was the call the night it happened after it was all over. Stu was worried sick... as always. Bonnie always told him to just relax, and that they were probably really busy.

So far, only a select few have been on TV to explain to the population the events of what took place. Namely Marshal Morevah, Chief Bogo, and Laura Lynx giving official statements and explanations. Laura having given a speech that now is not the time to pick apart what happened, but to come together to help those in need and fix up the city as best as they could. Promising that a full statement would be given at a future date.

Nick and Judy also made one thing clear to Laura. They would no longer be a part of the ZCTU. Ready to go back to the ZPD instead. Laura was happy to oblige them, thanking them for the service they offered.

But most everyone knew what had happened. Force of Nature attempted to take over the city. News of Elias spread quickly, thanks to an informant who worked within Force of Nature explaining all the details. The informant being named James Marco. Of who was eager to help in exchange for a lighter sentencing. His court date has yet to be filed.

As for Force of Nature itself, they are currently held in maximum security at ZooMax Prison. Their cells heavily guarded and their wounds attended to. No one in the media was allowed to see them. And the doctor's identities were to remain anonymous.

Stu wiped his brow and looked back down at the road, surprised to see that the dust cloud in the distance down the road was getting bigger. Did the delivery driver forget something? Stu squinted his eyes to see a smaller vehicle coming down the road. It looked like a sedan. He walked out in front of the barn, smiling warmly to greet whoever was coming.

The white sedan pulled up and stopped... now spotty brown thanks to all the dirt. Stu could see the outlines of four mammals inside, his eyes widening as he saw Judy step out of the drivers seat. Nick following from the passenger seat.

His eyes welled and he booked it straight to Judy. Judy already waiting with open arms. Stu practically tackled her, barely managing to stay on her feet as Stu wept in her arms.

"J..J-Judy!" he called out. Some of the other Hopps children hearing and running up to eagerly greet their sister. Bonnie stepping out from the front door just moments after. The sedan soon swarmed all around by smaller rabbit children, some even climbing on the car.

Nick chuckled and shuffled his way passed the Hopps children, opening the passenger door to let Abigail out from the back seat. Dawson following from the other side.

"Don't worry." said Nick, seeing Abigail's startled face. "They're harmless."

She smiled warmly at the children as they took notice of her. Saying hello to those who spoke to her. Dawson smiling as he tried to shuffle his way out of the crowd, politely excusing himself as he bumped into the kids.

Once Stu collected himself, he gave Judy one last firm hug. "Why didn't you let us know you were comin'?" he asked, wiping tears from his wet, matted fur.

"We wanted to surprise you guys." she said as cheerful as ever. "Since we've not been able to call you, we thought you'd like this more."

Bonnie walked up, smiling as her paws were neatly clasped to her front. Looking to Abigail and Dawson. "And who are these two?" she asked warmly. Her tone welcoming them to her home.

Nick smiled and gave a theatrical bow, his arm gestured to Abigail. "This is my mother." Nick stood up, pointing his thumb over to Dawson. "And this is my stepdad, Dawson."

"Abigail. Nice to meet you, Mrs. Hopps." she said, shuffling through the crowd to shake paw.

Bonnie shook Abigail's paw, smiling at her happily. "Oh just call me Bonnie. And that weeping pile of fluff over there is Stu."

Stu fanned his cheeks a bit, smiling as he collected himself fully. "I'm not weeping..."

"Hey, mom." said Judy, walking up and hugging her tightly for a few seconds. She soon let go, smiling at her. "We'd like to show Abby and Dawson what we showed you." she said, being intentionally vague.

Bonnie smiled and leaned in to whisper in her ear. "She's taking a nap. Let's go see her." she said, gesturing for Abigail and Dawson to follow.

"This better be good. That dirt road killed my back." said Dawson, stretching and popping his lower back.

Nick chuckled and pushed him towards the house, Abigail close behind Bonnie. "Ahh you'll get over it once you see this."

Bonnie, knowing full well what Nick and Judy were planning, went into the master bedroom. Before everyone else entered the room, Bonnie stood in the doorway and held a finger to her lips to gesture silence. Abigail raising an eyebrow curiously as she walked in soon after, then pausing as she saw the crib.

She looked over at Nick, who had a proud smirk on his lips. Judy smiling as well. Abigail slowly walked over to the crib, and peeked in. Seeing Mirellie sleeping soundly with a pacifier in her mouth. Abigail looked over features she could make out, Mirellie in a onesie. Seeing her widened ears at the base that met up at a more narrow tip. Black fur on the tips of her ears. Her tail resembled that of a fox, but it wasn't as busy. The fur on it resembling something more common as to a rabbit, but with a black tip on the end. Her fur gray like Judy's, but a nice creamy color on her belly like Nick. She could hardly believe her eyes, having to check over the infant again and again.

"I'm a..." she said, pausing with the words.

"Grandma." said Dawson lightly. Speaking just barely more than a whisper. Already looking over Abigail's shoulder at Mirellie fast asleep in the crib. Abigail started to reach for her, but stopped halfway there.

Bonnie smiled as she hesitated. "Shes been there a while. You can wake her up."

Without any further hesitation, she slowly scooped Mirellie up into her arms. Mirellie stirring a bit then opening up her green eyes to look at her grandma. Abigail now noticing her long, canine-like snout and nose. She let out light coos of annoyance as she was wrested from her slumber, but soon settling down a bit, the pacifier falling out of her mouth.

Abigail smiled more and choked on a laugh. Tears welling up in her eyes. "This is... I don't even have words for how amazing this is." she said. Overwhelmed at the fact that she was a grandma, and the fact that she was holding the first known hybrid mammal.

"No birth defects." said Judy as she stood next to Abigail, lightly playing with one of Mirellie's toes. "She's perfectly healthy."

Dawson stood on the other side of Abigail closer to Mirellie's head. Smiling down at the little wonder with soft, warm eyes. Adoration, as well as curiosity washing through him. There were so many questions, which Judy and Nick were both glad to answer.

"It's time we told you what we've been up to all this time." said Nick.

Over the course of the next few hours, Nick and Judy both retold the story of the past few months up until they left for Preypred City and were branded as criminals. As well as what Force of Nature's overall plan was. Dawson had fairly shocked expression most of the time, but Abigail just watched silently as she fed Mirellie with a bottle, occasionally looking down at her.

Once the story was done, both Dawson and Abigail sat in silence. Dawson was the first to talk, sighing and shaking his head. "I knew that new mayor was trouble... but man... No wonder you guys went off the radar."

Abigail smiled for just a moment, looking up at Judy and Nick. "You two went through so much... are you guys gonna be okay?" she asked. Inquiring about the damage their relationship suffered.

There was a long pause as Judy looked up at Nick, deciding to let him answer as he had more of a say in it than she did. He soon responded. "It'll be tough. But we're both willing to work at it."

Abigail nodded. "Good. But don't force yourself okay?" she said, giving a slightly cold glance Judy's way. Judy was rather open to Abigail about what was going on. But Abigail knew of something else that factored in. "Your father's manipulation is beyond redeemable. To think he put you two through this whole thing just to forward his agenda... Thank heavens you don't have to see him ever again."

Nick and Judy both paused. Judy speaking up first. "Not quite. We have to see him... them, Force of Nature, one last time."

The room looked rather shocked at this. Nick being the one to talk next. "We have to put the final nail on the coffin. We're gonna show them Nature isn't what they believe it is." he said as he nodded to Mirellie.

Judy smiled at Abigail as she walked up to her and Mirellie. "As much as I know you wanna hold her all day, I'm gonna need my baby back here soon."

The next morning, Undisclosed Location

Eight in the morning rang on the buzzer, not that it mattered much in this room. The walls made of thick concrete. Guards armed to the teeth patrolling the halls. Multiple checkpoints with more armed guards, as well as sentry turrets and alarms visible as well. Cameras visible every few feet, leaving no blind spots at all in every nook and cranny of the building.

The location was a bunker that served as a Maximum Security holding cell block. Where the worst and most dangerous criminals in Zootopia go to await trial, and serve out their sentence if need be. And as of this moment, there were five individuals locked up in two areas.

One was by himself, James Marco. Having requested personally not to be anywhere near Elias Wilde and requesting to not be held where the two could make contact. Thanks to his cooperation and willingness to hand over any information and files needed for investigation, they allowed him this one favor. But no securities were lifted. Sitting in a cell on his own with his paws folded in his lap. Only things in his cell was the bed, a sink, and a toilet. Thick metal bars serving as the door.

On the other side of the building, the cells were quite different. As were the four inside of it. No expense was spared in making sure these four were held in the most secure of fashions. The four being Force of Nature. Leah Maine, Hunter Lupin, Jacques Akachi, and Elias Wilde.

Their block consisted of an open room with a single table in the middle with a few bolted-down chairs. The walls concrete. The only way into this cell block was through three doors serving as checkpoints. Armed guards at each one. On the ceiling, 30 feet high, were two automated turrets manually controlled by guards in a security room. Armed with both non-lethal, and lethal rounds.

There were cells lining the walls, but only four were in use. The block having a half-circle shape with no second floors. Consisting of 10 cells in all. The four in the back holding Force of Nature. Inside the cells was the bed bolted into the ground, and melded in with the concrete. As was the sink, which was mostly square in shape, and the toilet being metal and bolted down with industrial-grade equipment. It would take a lot of time and power tools to get it out. The doors to the cells were not iron bars, but seethrough shatter-proof glass. Only way it'd break, is if someone drove a truck into it. Which cant fit down the hallway to get into the block. There were six round holes in the glass to allow one to speak through it. Under no condition were the prisoners allowed to touch these holes. No exceptions. If any of them failed to comply with this order, their paws would be immediately bound for seven days in handcuffs that wouldn't allow for any kind of finger, or wrist movement. The only other things of note, were the light fixtures above the cells shining light into them, as well as welded vent that allowed air to go in. The vents were secured as well, all of them leading to a single point just at the entrance to the Cell Block. If one got in the vents, that's as far as they'd get.

Different to the Penitentiary, no shock collars were issued to the detainees/inmates here. There was one rule that was absolute: If any inmate or detainee was in a place they shouldn't be, they would be shot on sight with lethal rounds. Non-lethal is if they were causing ruckus, like a fight.

Leah sat in her cell, bandages wrapped around her head and eyes. The damage she received left her completely blind. There was no chance she'd ever see again.

Hunter lay in a hospital bed with medical equipment monitoring his condition. The damage he received left him completely paralyzed from the neck down. Despite this, no security was spared.

Jacques and Elias had cells side-by-side. Elias having sustained minor injuries. The left side of Jacques's head was fairly swollen from where the sword sheathe was shattered against his head. His jaw swollen as well on account of a few of his teeth being knocked out, and cracked. There was a mild fracture on his cheekbone, but the doctors saw no need to splint his head. It'd heal quickly.

Every now and then they'd carry on a conversation with each other here and there. But if it went on too long, or got a bit too radical for the guard's liking, they were told immediately to shut up. Jacques would occasionally hold a prayer for them systematically.

Despite all that happened, their faith still remained. Believing that their way of life was still the truth of the world.

Several loud buzzers down the hall caught their attention. Signaling that someone was coming down the hall passing through the checkpoint. They had already spoken to their appointed attorney's, Elias attorney refusing to work with him. And it wasn't time for lunch yet. So this was an unexpected visit.

Elias and Jacques both perked up as they saw Nick walk through the door, a file tucked under his arm.

Jacques was the first to greet Nick, a smile creeping across his lips. "Ahh, The Broken. Wasn't expecting a visit from you so soon. I thought the next we'd meet, it'd be on the bench."

Nick stayed silent as he walked into the block, placing the file on the table before turning to the four members of Force of Nature. Hunter's hospital bed angled up slightly so he could see forward, despite not being able to move his head. "Nah. This will be the last time we see each other. Our testimony is already prepared through reports, and Laura will be representing us in the court proceedings."

"Makes sense." replied Jacques, slightly nodding his head. "She is the leader of your group after all."

His casual demeanor slightly angered Nick. Finding it insulting that Jacques was still able to tout that cheeky grin despite all hes done. The lives lost and ruined because of him. Even his own personal grudges, his hand in causing Nick and Judy so much trouble and pain.

Jacques noticed his angry glare and furrowed brow. "Oh? Have I upset you in some way, Broken?" He said, referring to Nick's title given to him when he temporarily joined Force of Nature. A title that Jacques believed Mother Nature bestowed to him. "Does it anger you? To know that after all you've done, the most you've accomplished is putting me in a cell? My faith unchanged, the world still aware of what we want to do. We'll gain supporters, for it is Nature's way. My Voice shall carry beyond this city, and my message will-."

"Your message dies here today, Jacques." interrupted Nick, growing slightly more agitated.

Jacques's eyes flickered red for a moment, his Impression flickering as he was irritated at being interrupted. But someone had already started using their Impression. Elias's eyes were glowing dark green. That ever present sensation of someone looking over his shoulder burning on Nick, a sign of Elias's gift. "Why are you here?" asked Elias.

His Impression as The Mind allowed him to sense intentions from those he was focusing on. As well, he can influence thoughts if they are already present in some capacity. Able to flourish what might be a tiny grain of sand worth of doubt and turn it into a cascade of self-doubt and anguish. Something that Nick assumed he did to help cast doubt on Nick as to his relationship with Judy. Admittedly, there was a lot that was of his own. But it was clear it was what Elias wanted, and was orchestrating.

Nick looked to his father, eyes narrowed slightly. Also seeing that Leah and Hunter were paying attention. "Nature is not what you think it is. You've built your entire foundation on the belief that Nature's Law is absolute. And in some ways, you might be right. There are some things about Nature we can't change. But that doesn't mean we are bound to those laws entirely. Nature doesn't work that way."

Jacques raised his eyebrow as he listened to Nick. "What is this? Newfound faith?"

Nick shook his head. "No. This is your revelation." Nick looked back towards the door and beckoned towards it. The door opened, and Judy walked in. Carrying a bundle in her arms.

A humored laugh came from Jacques as he saw the bundle. "You think Jack Savage's bastard child's gonna break my faith?"

Judy said nothing as she walked to the table and unraveled the bundle. Taking Mirellie out of it and into her arms. Keeping her back faced to Force of Nature so they couldn't see her. Nick opening up the file to take out several papers. Nick walked to each cell one by one, except for Leah's, and stuck the paper on the glass with tape so they could see its contents. A DNA test. Showing the genetics of the child. The parents listed as both Judy, and Nick.

They waited a moment to let Jacques, Hunter, and Elias read the paper. Elias was the first to understand its meaning, his eyes widening and quickly falling to Judy. Now anxiously awaiting her to turn around. Once Nick saw that they had read the paper and understood it, he nodded to Judy. She promptly turned around to show them Mirellie. The happy, healthy baby Foxxit cooing in Judy's arms. Leah's head leaned up as she heard the coos. Although she couldn't see, she understood what was happening.

Judy walked up to Hunter's cell first, letting him see Mirellie's features. Then to Jacques, who stared down at the child with widened, and curious eyes. His mouth opened as if to speak, but no words came out. Then to Elias. Elias stood in disbelief at the child, falling to his knees in front of Judy to get a better look and putting his hands up on the glass as he laid eyes on his granddaughter.

Despite his beliefs, here was proof of the impossible right in front of him. The DNA tests to confirm it, and the child herself. A hybrid between prey and predator. Never had he felt such a confusing wave of emotions. Confusion, anger, disbelief, elation, pride all washed through him. Leaving him dumbfounded. He pressed his hands on the glass, wanting nothing more than to at least touch her cheek.

"Meet your granddaughter, Elias. This is Mirellie." said Judy. She spoke warmly, but in a stern manner. Showing she was proud of the child that she had, but not proud of him being near her.

Elias smiled and let out a slight choked laugh. "Miracle... She's a miracle."

Judy smiled lightly, swaying Mirellie in her arms a bit. Mirellie having her green eyes fixated on her grandfather. Her little paws angled up and grasping at the air.

"This is..." started Jacques. His head hanging down as he struggled to find the words. "This is..."

Nick smirked at him. "Preposterous? Impossible? Surely it must he a trick?"

Suddenly an overwhelming sensation of hatred gripped the room, Mirellie starting to cry just moments after. "An ABOMINATION!" bellowed out Jacques. "You brought this...THING here to what? Prove that Nature chose to allow this?! This is a miracle of the damned! A forced lie to tell the world!"

Nick closed his eyes and let out a light sigh. Judy glared at him as she tried to calm Mirellie down. "Who are you to dictate what Nature can and can't do? You always said you wouldn't believe it till you see it! Well here it is, what more proof do you need?"

Jacques glared at Judy, his eyes glowing red. When he spoke, his voice rumbled loudly. Able to be heard down the halls. "I am the Voice of Mother Nature! She speaks through me! She CHOSE me to be her voice of reason in this tainted world! And as long as I have my Voice, I will NOT be undone!"

"There's one last thing I wanna mention." said Nick, his eyes still closed "At my 'initiation' I did hear something speak to me. Did I ever tell you what it said? That I will teach the blinded to believe once they were ready to hear it. That the Voice, Mind, Love, and Wrath will heed me. And I will guide them to the fate they had set themselves upon."

Jacques glared at Nick, his teeth gritting "I've never heard such blasphemous-"

"I don't think 'Broken' was the right word. I think 'Breaker' might suit it better... still edgy as crap though..." said Nick.

Jacques slammed his fist on the glass wall, the turrets on the upper corners of the room taking aim at Jacques's cell. "The Broken. The living example of triumph over defeat. The walking testament of defiance. Those looking upon you would know the pain of defying Nature's Law! That is your duty as The Broken!"

"I saw it too." said Judy, still cradling the upset Mirellie. "When I gave birth, something spoke to me. Showed me that the path that you and Elias had set yourselves on would bring the world to hate itself. Sew more disdain and hatred in everyone. Not allowed to believe what they wanted to, and only what you and Elias allowed them to believe."

Jacques glared at Judy, growling at this point. "As it should be! No one will listen to reason so they must be forced to!"

Nick spoke up. "Nature isn't bound by your opinion. It changes and flows with the times. The sole fact that we stand upright will tell you that when we used to walk on four legs. The fact that we developed language. Learned to harness electricity. Built structures that can touch the clouds. We've learned, and grown thanks to the evolution that Nature brought to us. But Nature isn't something you can control or decide anything for. It's like trying to tell a river what direction it should flow."

There was a pause before Nick spoke again. His eyes still closed. "My duty as The Broken, or Breaker, isn't to be a walking example of defiance. My job is to show Force of Nature the error of their ways."

Nick felt a strange sensation fill him up. Only could be described as a force beginning to bring its way out of him. Not threateningly, but more like a gentle hand on the shoulder before stepping in front of him. Nick slowly began to open his eyes, a slight lighter green light glowing from them. His Impression activating for the first time.

Instantly, Elias, Jacques, Hunter, and Leah turned their heads straight at Nick. Their eyes glowing their respective Impression color. Even Leah's had some of that yellow light shining through the bandages. Nick's mind when somewhat blank, but the feeling of hatred pouring from Jacques instantly ceased. Nick's vision went dark, but soon something came into view. A strange being that took no form or shape. A strange outline of what appeared to be a smokey figure. No defining features, other than its golden glowing eyes. It looked at Nick, before turning away out of his vision.

Jacques's vision went dark as well, finding himself in a black void, looking around frantically to try and figure out what was going on. He soon saw the figure appear before him, golden eyes fixated on him. Jacques's eyes widened as he knew exactly what he was looking at. "Mother Nature!" he said, walking towards it and his hand outstretched as if to embrace it.

Mother Nature lunged a hand out, grabbing Jacques by the front of his face. Jacques flinched and recoiled, unable to pull away from the being's grasp. "What're you doing?"

"You have tainted the gift I gave you. Used it for your personal beliefs instead of seeing the truth of the world around you." said Mother Nature. It's words not spoken vocally, but still understood by Jacques clear as crystal.

"But... I spread the word of your Law! Am I not worthy?!" said Jacques, looking between one two if its fingers.

Mother Nature cocked its head lightly. "You WERE worthy at one point. Your vision is much different than that of your father, Nature's Heart. The society you made is one of spite masking itself as understanding. Hatred shrouding itself in a cloak of false truths. You are unworthy to carry my Voice."

Mother Nature began to pull its hand back. Jacques fixed in place as a ghostly image of himself was pulled from his form. The ghostly image of himself hanging in a state of shock in Mother Nature's hand for a moment before it faded and changed into a ball of what looked like a red light. Mother Nature holding the ball of light in its hand.

Jacques stumbled back as he collected himself. Feeling a little dizzy. "What do you mean, Mother Nature?! Your Law is absolute!"

The image shifted and changed to that of one Jacques recognized. An older male Hyena with similar features to him. Sandy colored fur with black spots. But it got darker as it went down to his backside. Red eyes same as Jacques. This was Ishaq Akachi, Jacques's father.

"What you started, Jacques, is not what I intended. I never intended people to die... I only wanted to spread the word of Mother Nature's love to all things living. Something to help unite the people under an ideal of understanding and peace. That despite being prey and predator, we can still live in cohesive harmony... and you tainted that image." said Ishaq, his eyes lowering in disappointment.

Jacques's eyes were widened as he stared in disbelief at the image of his father. Was this real? His voice was exactly as Jacques remembered. His tone so warm and welcoming. "I followed what you taught me... I followed Nature's Law."

"I have no laws." said Mother Nature, snapping back to its ghostly image. "Only truths. One truth. Nature changes. And that will never be something for you to speak of again." Mother Nature closing its hand around the red light, completely shattering it as the sound of what could only be described as breaking glass echoed through the void.

Mother Nature soon showed itself to Nick again. Nick looking at the figure. "I have no idea what's going on..." said Nick. He wasn't aware of his Impression activating, or even the fact that he had it till it came forth.

"I've taken back what belongs to me. Thank you, Nicolas Wilde. This will be the last you see of me. Enjoy your life." said Mother Nature as it pulled a ghostly image of Nick that transformed shortly after into a green ball of light. Mother Nature promptly shattered it in its hand before Nick could get another word out, the black void snapping out of existence. Nick finding himself back in the cell block.

Nick stumbled a bit, putting his paw on the desk to steady himself. Looking over at Judy. "What happened?"

Judy was standing next to Nick, looking up at him worried. "You just kinda... zoned out. They did too." she said as she gestured over to Elias and the others.

Elias was swaying as well, leaning up against the glass to steady himself. Jacques managing to find his feet. Leah falling back on the floor onto her rear. Hunter obviously unable to move. Jacques was blinking repeatedly, realizing that his Impression turned off on its own.

No, it wasn't that it was turned off. He couldn't turn it back on. It was completely gone. Jacques no longer had his Impression. But that was impossible! How could his Impression be taken?

"It's gone.." said Leah from her cell, her hand on the center of her forehead. "My Impression's gone... Mother Nature just took it back..." she said, despair welling up in her voice.

Elias looked down at his paws, confirming that he couldn't use his Impression anymore either. He felt so... exposed now. The main defining feature that solidified his role as Nature's Mind was taken back by the very thing that bestowed it upon him. Was he truly not worthy? Was he wrong to follow the path he took this whole time?

"Now you see. Even Nature doesn't agree with you." said Nick as he walked to each cell. Taking the DNA paper off of it one by one. Saving Elias's for last. "Your faith is a lie. Your legacy will bleed out and die. Your names will go down in history as ignorant mammals that couldn't accept the world they lived in, and used their own power and greed to try and force it to change against its will. Nature IS change. A part that is influenced by us over time. Nature adapts. Nature reshapes itself. Nature evolves." said Nick, stopping in front of Elias's cell. Taking the DNA test down and turning his back to the cell.

Elias lunged up, slamming his body against the glass. "Nick! Son! Wait!" said Elias, his voice windy and desperate.

Nick jumped a bit as Elias hit the glass, but Nick turned around to look at his father. Listening to what he wanted to say. Elias gave a grateful nod. "I'm... I'm sorry son... I was wrong. I can't argue the facts that are right in front of me." he said as he looked at Mirellie, who had calmed down. "There's no justifying what I've done... to both you and to Miss Ho- to Judy. But... at least humor me. I have a savings account set aside just for you. I intended to give it to you once this was all over so you could live out your life, you can still have it now. There's enough in there for you all to retire and never work again in your lives."

Elias was having a meltdown. His eyes welling up with tears as they started to streak down his fur. He wasn't doing this for his son's approval, or to repair the relationship that was beyond salvation at this point. But he had to do something to at least try to make it up to Nick.

"We don't need it." said Nick as he turned away from Elias. Beginning to walk away.

Elias's eyes widened and he slapped his paws up on the glass loudly. "Please Nick! That money is yours! I had it set aside for you! You don't have to say anything else to me you don't have to ever see me again. I don't want anything in return either! I just... I just..." Elias slid down the glass, breaking down into a sobbing mess.

Judy was the one to speak up. "We don't want your money, Elias. Nick and I already discussed this. If you want any shred of dignity to be kept for you, then use that money for the victims of the carnage you, and Force of Nature caused. And never, ever speak to us again."

Elias kept sobbing, tapping his forehead against the glass a few times in frustration. But nodded at Judy's words.

"Goodbye, dad." said Nick as he and Judy made their way to the exit. The bulwark door opening up for them to go through. Leaving Force of Nature alone yet again.

The group was in a state of shock. Leah just resigning to curling up on the floor and sobbing. Her claws digging into her shoulder that she was clutching, cutting into the skin as she scratched herself from the state of shock.

Elias stayed knelt up against the glass as he just sobbed uncontrollably. The weight of what he had done crashing down on him as he was forced ot accept what he had done

"Jacques! Were we wrong?!" called out Hunter, lurching his head to where he heard Jacques's voice coming from. Trying to see him face to face. "Tell me we were doing Nature's bidding! We weren't in the wrong, were we?!"

Jacques didn't answer, only able to look down at his paws. Hunter called out more. "Answer me! Was what I did justified! Did those people I killed deserve to die!? ANSWER ME!" he called out, throwing his head enough so he tumbled out of his hospital bed onto the cold concrete floor. Beginning to sob loudly and beg Jacques for an answer. Moments later, personel came rushing in to get a hysterical Hunter back onto the hospital bed.

He kept staring at his paws as he contemplated everything he had done. Was it all for Mother Nature? Did his own judgment cloud his image? What of his father, Nature's Heart? Was his message the same? Did he perhaps misinterpret what Ishaq's real message was?

And people died for the image he created.

The image of blood staining Jacques's hands flashed in his mind as his ears began to ring. Stumbling back before falling to his knees. He was no longer The Voice. His own actions leading to his own destruction and damnation. The damnation he preached others to fear and resent. Jacques clutched the top of his head as his emotions boiled over.

He was wrong.

"GRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Jacques let out a loud bellow as he threw his head up. A bellow that rattled the very foundation of the bunker. The turrets instantly training on Jacques's cell. A roar of sorrow, and self trauma. His every emotion of sorrow, acceptance, misery, guilt, and regret roaring down the halls of the bunker. Cutting through even the dense concrete walls. Nick and Judy looking back towards the cell block as armed soldiers rushed their way in.

He roared for well over 30 seconds non-stop. His eyes rolled back into his head as his claws were dug firmly into his scalp, breaking the skin. His roar did not fade out slowly, but was suddenly cut off after Jacques made a "GLCH!" noise. Blood coming from his mouth a bit.

Panicked, Jacques wiped his jaw clean, seeing his own blood on it. He clenched his fist and slammed it down on the floor, kneeling forward on his paws and knees now. He looked up shortly after to see several soldiers aiming guns at his cell. A large crack visible in the glass serving as the door to his cell.

Jacques tried to speak, but the only thing that came out was a rush of air. His eyes widened and he grasped at his throat, trying to vocalize. To hum. Any kind of sound. But all he could do, was cough.

He could no longer speak.

Jacques's tears began to pour freely as he slammed his head down on the concrete hard, feeling the skin break and blood begin to drip onto the concrete floor. The guards opening his cell door and immediately binding him in handcuffs and leg restraints. Jacques no longer even attempting to resist them as he just accepted it. Caring not at all where they were going, only aware that he was being moved. The trauma of his revelation making his mind go blank with shock.

"Jeez... that guy can scream." said Nick with a slight smirk. "Think he'd make a good foghorn?"

Judy giggled and smirked up at him. "Come on, dumb fox. Let's go home." said Judy.

They both quickly left the maximum security bunker to make their way back to the apartment. "What do you wanna eat when we get home?" asked Nick as Judy drove the car.

"Food on the brain? You're gonna get fat." said Judy, reaching over and playfully jabbing Nick in the side.

Nick smirked and jerked away from her paw. "Just more of me to love, babe." he said playfully.

Something was different. Whatever doubt that Nick and Judy had seemed to just fade away. Maybe it was due to Elias's Impression being taken away from him, or perhaps it was the relief that it was finally done and he would be out of their lives. Either way, both of them felt much happier now. More confident. More like themselves before this entire mess even began.

Several days later, Bookerlight Apartment

At long last, Judy and Nick were finally able to move back into their apartment fully. Getting the second bedroom set up to be used for Mirellie for the time being. It took a day to fully clean the place up. Everything covered in a thick layer of dust, forcing Nick to wear a bandanna over his nose as they dusted the place off. All the food had to be thrown out from the fridge, as most of it grew mold large enough to hold a small civilization on. Warranting a thorough bleach clean of the fridge and freezer inside and out.

Judy was wiping off the small picture frames they had mounted up on the walls. Seeing the collected memories of their past experiences together. The most memorable, being their first kiss out in the field near Muttcie General Hospital. Judy smiled as she looked at it, a pang of worry hitting her. Could their relationship be like it was before? It was true that the day they had their final confrontation with Force of Nature, they felt as if an emotional weight had been lifted from them. Allowing them to think much more clearly.

Elias had more of a hold on them than they thought. Not just his Impression, but the understanding of how thought worked well in his favor to fester up seeds of doubt, allowing his Impression to work better.

Nick noticed her looking at that particular picture, walking up and holding part of the frame alongside Judy's paw. He smiled lightly and his ears lowered a bit. Judy looking up at him. "Do you think we're the same as we were back then?" she asked. Putting her paw on his arm seeking comfort.

There was a moment's pause before Nick pulled Judy into a hug. Holding the bunny against his chest. "I think we're a bit older and wiser. And maybe we're a bit better off for it too." he said, looking at the picture again before hanging it back up on the wall. "We can make this a goal. Something to work up to. Maybe we cant get the exact same back, or maybe we can get something better. But we wont know till we try, right?"

His response surprised Judy. Not expecting that kind of a heartfelt moment from him. It just went to show exactly how long of a way they had to go. During the months, Nick had grown cold and difficult to trust in others, while Judy had become untrustworthy and unsure of herself. They both felt substantially different now, much better than in those dark days. They would need to work at it to get out of it fully. "You got it. Never knew Foxes could be so emotional." she said as she hopped over the couch to grab another clean duster from the table. Prompting Nick to pull his bandanna back up over his nose.

"Whatever you say." said Nick in a sarcastic tone. Judy smirking and hopping over to him to pull the bandanna down so she could give him a kiss. Nick smirked and returned it, and closed his eyes.

Exactly what Judy wanted, as she leaned back and smacked the side of the dirty duster over his face. Causing Nick to cough and sneeze out of control moments later. Judy laughing as she resumed cleaning the pictures and other furniture.

A few minutes later, the baby monitor went off as Mirellie started crying. "Looks like someone might need a diaper change." said Judy, looking over at Nick suggestively.

Nick, who was cleaning his face off in the sink, saw her suggestive glance. "Nuh-uh. You owe me after that dust slap." A smirk on his lips.

Judy rolled her eyes and set the duster down to go tend to Mirellie. Nick getting a bottle ready for her as well once his sneezing stopped.

Ding-dong! Rang the doorbell, causing Nick to jump a bit in surprise. Not expecting any visitors.

"You get it, Nick! This might take a minute!" she called out from the baby's room. A foul smell coming from it.

Nick smirked as to what Judy was going through, and set the bottle on the table before heading to the door. He peeked through the eyehole to see who was on the other side.

The sleek dark brown colored fur with white around the upper lip is what he saw. Tom Mink. Wearing his traditional suit... did he have any other kinds of clothing to wear? "It's Tom." called out Nick as he opened up the door. The old Mink smiling as he saw Nick.

"Good afternoon. I hope I'm not intruding?" he asked, holding an envelope in his paw.

Nick smiled and beckoned him in. "You? Never. Come on in... don't mind the dust we're just doing a bit of spring cleaning. Can I get you anything? Water... more water?" asked Nick. Realizing that they had no other beverages right now to offer.

Tom chuckled lightly as he came inside, looking around the apartment. He was more used to living in more high dollar manors, so the quaint little apartment was rather interesting to him. He sat down on the couch, folding his paws neatly in his lap. "I'd like to speak to both you, and Judy when you're ready."

"Just a sec!" called out Judy from the baby's room. Nick getting a glass of ice water for Tom and setting it on the table in front of him. Tom giving Nick a grateful nod and smile.

A few minutes later, Judy came out with Mirellie in her arms. Grabbing the bottle along the way from the table and sitting on the couch next to Tom. Tom smiling warmly as he looked at Mirellie, extending a finger to pet gently along the top of her head. Mirellie's ear twitching as he did, suckling from the bottle. "So what's going on, Tom?"

Tom's expression changed from one of warmth to one of somber sadness. "I have something for you three. From Jack." he said as he set the envelope down. With Judy's arms full, Nick reached for the envelope and opened it.

Inside was a check for three million dollars. Nick's eyes widened as he saw it, then looked up at Tom. Judy leaning over to see the check, her eyes widening too. "Tom we can't take this..."

Tom shook his head, a smile on his lips. "Jack had that money set aside specifically for you three shortly before we went back to Zootopia. As I am Jack's beneficiary at this point, the money in his savings was moved to my name. He left me a note with specific instructions in case he died. He planned this out. Look in the envelope again." he said, nodding at the envelope.

Behind the check was a letter. Nick taking it out and reading it aloud for Judy to hear.

"Dear Judy and Nick. First let me just say, take the money. It was gonna end up going to Mirellie anyway. If it turned out she was mine, Judy still would have gotten the money. I have no use for it now... obviously. And this isn't even all of it. Wanna know the most expensive thing I bought? The manor. And that's because I needed a big property to work with. The rest is being donated to the city to use as they see fit. And Tom's getting a sizable retirement too."

"And... I know things didn't go well between us and in hindsight, I made a lot of really bad choices. And for that, I have no excuses and I am truly sorry. I kinda wish we could've been good friends but I went and mucked that all up. Could've enjoyed having a beer with Nick or helping Judy pick out clothes... or something... did that sound weird?"

"Anyway, just please accept the money. Get Mirellie a good education. Buy a nice house in a good suburb neighborhood. Do what you want with it. I feel like I owe at least that much to you three for everything I did to you guys. I got you all wrapped up in my own personal drama and even put you right in Force of Nature's path. But when all's said and done, I'm glad I met you guys. Have a good life."

"Jack Savage"

"PS. Seriously, take the money. Or Tom's gonna get Artie to wire it to you."

Nick sighed and smiled up at Tom, folding the letter after he read it. Judy smiled lightly as well. "We can't take no for an answer, can we?"

Tom shook his head. "I'm afraid not, Madame Hopps. And even I insist you take it. You can put it to good use for yourselves."

"Well..." said Nick, scratching the back of his head. "It would be nice to get a house. And besides... I'd rather take Jack's money than Elias's. Plus we could retire early if we wanted to."

Judy sighed and leaned back on the couch. Mirellie still suckling from the bottle. "Fine, we'll take it. But I'm not retiring early." she said with a smirk. Having no intention to quit the ZPD early.

Tom nodded lightly. "I have no say in what you do with it. Just that you take it."

"And what about you, Tom?" asked Nick, one of his ankles crossed onto his knee. "What's next for Zootopia's most badass butler?"

Tom chuckled warmly at Nick's jive. "I think it's time I live the rest of my life in peace. I've had by eye on a nice beachside condo in the south. Nice and warm all year around. Many beautiful white sandy beaches."

"That'll be perfect for you." said Judy, smiling warmly at him. Judy leaned up to Tom, hooking an arm around his shoulder to give him a light, friendly hug. "Thank you for everything, Tom." She said. Tom had been there for Judy in a lot of tough times to offer words of wisdom. Grateful for helping her through those tough times. Nick too. Tom was sort of like the support for the team, and it was something he was good at.

Tom smiled and leaned into Judy every so slightly to meet her halfway on the hug. Not putting his arms around her though. "It was my pleasure, Madame Hopps. I wish you and Master Wilde the best of luck." said Tom as he stood up. Nick standing up and extending his paw out to Tom. Tom paused for a moment then shook his paw, smiling at Nick. Nick smiling back and leaning in closer to him. "Enjoy the bikini babes." said Nick with a light wink. Tom only smiling wider and returning a playful wink before walking out. The last time either of them would see the old Mink.

Once Tom was gone, Nick sat back down and stared at the check, sighing and shaking his head in disbelief. "I want a new car."

"No." said Judy with a stern glare.

One year later

A few weeks after Tom gave Nick and Judy Jack's final request, Force of Nature went up to trial. Needless to say, it didn't last long. All four of them sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. Leah being placed into a special high-security wing that would be able to meet her needs as a blind mammal. Hunter was placed in similar care, but more extensively than Leah since Hunter had no way at all to defend himself.

As for Jacques and Elias, they got the standard treatment of maximum security imprisonment. Through the whole trial, Jacques didn't speak a word. The hospital doctors confirming that his vocal cords had been damaged beyond repair. He would be mute for the rest of his life. Elias accepted the sentence without protest. Even admitting to the alleged crimes and explaining that he let his faith blind his judgment. As well, he pledged for his personal bank accounts to be donated to the victims and families of the victims affected, as well as to the city's repair. Needless to say, it covered the majority of the bill.

James Marco had a different sentence. He gave much willing testimony, cooperated with investigators to the fullest. Even those investigating him. And handed over every single scrap of evidence he could dig up. As well as both a written confession, and a public confession of how he manipulated the outcome of the election for mayor. He was sentenced to life, but in a lighter security prison. When asked why he was so cooperative, he simply replied "It's better that I am." and would say nothing further.

For the time being, Marshal Morevah was made Mayor for Zootopia to finish out Elias's term. Then a proper election would be held without Marco's influence. Needless to say, all charges of treason were wiped clean from the ZCTU's record. As well as Alissa Valpord and Archer Steele.

A year has passed since then. The horrible events of what's now called the 'Nature Riot' a distant memory. Where the church once stood had now been turned to a small monument park. A few pathways with some dense trees and flowers and a monument in the middle of it. A large black glossy stone with the names of all the mammals that died that night. Jack's name was on that list. The monument itself being dubbed the 'Savage Stone.' Valpord's and Steele's name was carved on it as well in larger, more noticeable letters like Jack's.

Nick and Judy were promptly brought back into the ZPD. Both of them keeping the same schedules so they could pick up Mirellie at the same time. If paperwork needed done that required them to stay behind, they would alternate between them every time.

Jack's money was put to good use. Nick and Judy buying a nice suburb house in a neighborhood with a low crime rate. Ironically enough, neighbors to Clawhauser who squealed in absolute delight when he saw who bought the house. And also nearly passed out after meeting Mirellie for the first time... that squeal could break glass.

It was a fair three bedroom, two bathroom one story suburb house. Spacious, fenced in back yard. Lots of room for Mirellie to run around and play in without much worry. The schools were reliable as well. A near perfect place to live in the city limits. Nick did get a car... but not the luxury one he wanted. Judy telling him he'd have to buy that on his own.

Nick had decided to take Judy out for a day on the town. Leaving the now one year old Mirellie with Abigail. She was more than happy to have her granddaughter around to spoil her rotten. Nick taking Judy to several different places. Seeing a movie, having dinner at a fancy locale. Having more dinner when the fancy local only offered just a few mouthfuls of delicious food instead of a full meal. Thinking it'd be a good idea to wrap the whole thing up on a leisurely ride on the gondola in the rainforest district that would end in Savanna Central

They both stood in the gondola as it took off, lifting up high enough to see the sun setting behind the city in the distance. Nick leaning up against the railing as he looked in the distance. "Remind me never to go to Le Baah-Beaux unless I'm just showing off money..." said Nick. Disgruntled at the tiny amount of food they got from the five star restaurant. Tempted to slam review the owner, a sheep, online about it. But talked himself out of it.

"Gotta give it to them though... They know how to make a radish taste amazing." said Judy. Remembering that first bite she took made her mind go numb for a bit as she tasted something she never thought she would ever taste from a vegetable. "Besides. The movie was great!"

Nick nodded and smiled. "That plot twist though... Who'd have thought that he's still be alive!"

They went on like this for a while. Recounting the movie and the food, as well as just talking about other things they were happy to experience together. Like the horrible dinner they had that one evening from a cheap takeout place. Or even when they first met, which Nick particularly loved to flaunt that she thought Finnick was Nick's son.

They came upon the edge of the Rainforest district. The gondola particularly up high to see the city in the background with the golden sunset sky cast over it. Judy smiled as she looked it over. "It's like deja vu, isn't it?" she asked. Remembering when they rode this gondola once before during the Night Howlers.

Nick nodded, now leaning on one arm while the other went into his pocket. "Yeah... You know, this is the place where I opened up to you for the first time. First time I opened up to anyone in a long time really..."

Judy looked up at him, eyebrow raised. "What about Fin? You two seem pretty close."

"Yeah well..." said Nick, rolling his eyes and shaking his head with a smile on his face. "Fin's not really a social kinda guy. We worked well together and we're buddies. But he doesn't really care to get all emotional."

Judy smirked more. "I think he does. He just doesn't wanna show it."

Nick chuckled in response. "Maybe..." Nick paused for a long time after this, his eyes focused and his face flushing a bit. "Hey, carrots..."

Judy looked up at him, waiting for him to speak.

"You're the best thing that ever happened to me..." said Nick, his eyes lowering a bit. "And we nearly lost all of it..."

Judy cocked her head curiously, seeing Nick was growing increasingly nervous. "What're you trying to say, Nick?"

He held up his paw to lightly gesture her to be quiet. "Just... lemme say this whole thing okay? You've helped me change my life for the better. Not even for the better, for the best. Never in my life did I think I'd join the ZPD or an counter terrorism unit. You showed me what my life can be... and I almost threw it all away. Because I let my dad's words get to me..."

Nick stayed silent for a minute, Judy staying silent as well. Soon Nick spoke up again. "Now we have a beautiful daughter and this last year has been great! I feel like I'm living a truly fulfilling life. Not stuck hustling strangers for untaxed cash living under a bridge. I'd still be there if you hadn't had that big dream of yours and saw it through till the end."

Judy, unable to stay silent, leaned up against the railing with her ears down. "Yeah well... I almost threw it all away too with the whole Jack thing... even though Elias was doing what he was, I still didn't respect the relationship we had. And I might have damaged it beyond repair. I mean... I want nothing more than to be with you, but if you can't be happy then I wouldn't hold it against you if you decided to leave."

"I have no intention of doing that at all, Fluff. All that's behind us." said Nick, turning to face towards Judy. His face flushed bright red. "In fact, I have something better in mind." he said as he knelt down onto one knee, pulling something from his pocket.

Judy turned back to Nick and widened her eyes as he got down on one knee. Seeing the small, felt black box he pulled from his pocket being presented to her. Nick opened the lid to show what was inside.

A shining gold ring. On top of it was a lavander gem wrapped in an elegant gold setting to resemble that of wings. Almost as if the gem was being lifted from the ring.

"This spot was the first time I opened up to you. And I wanna open up even more. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I've had a lot of time to think about all that and I'm ready to forgive and forget all that bad stuff. So I ask you, Judy Hopps." said Nick, his voice a bit shaky. "Will you marry me?"

Judy couldn't help but pull her paws up to her mouth to hold a gasp, her heart beating out of her chest. He had forgiven her for all that happened, and was ready to take the next step. Over the last year they had been steadily working together to rebuild what they had. What they came to realize is, a lot of it was never really lost. Their feelings toward each other hadn't changed despite all of this. It was their own feelings towards themselves that changed. And now that everything holding them back had been removed, they were back to as they were and wiser for it.

"Yes." Judy choked out, her eyes welling up with tears of joy.

Nick smiled wider as she spoke. "Really?"

Judy smirked at him and tackled him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders. "Yes, you dumb fox!" she said before locking lips with him as tears fell freely. Nick returned the embrace, enjoying the moment with her.

Once their lips broke, Nick took the ring out of the box and slid it on Judy's finger. A perfect fit. Judy gazing with delight at the jewel embedded into the ring. Then wrapping her arms around Nick again to hold him close.

Nick stood up, holding Judy in his arms and rocking her lightly. "Thank you, Carrots." The gondola ride was nearly over, able to see the deck where they would need to come off. Nick smirking mischievously as he had one more thing in mind. Sending a quick text to Abigail to let her know Judy said yes.

Hearing the hustle and bustle from the gondola station, Judy let go of Nick. Still marveling and fiddling with the ring to look it all over.

"You like it?" he asked. "I wanted to get one to match those pretty eyes of yours."

She smiled up at him, leaning her head on his side. "I love it."

They both stepped off of the gondola. The way further leading down a flight of stairs that would bring you to one of the main plaza's in Savanna Central. Judy a bit too focused on the ring to notice the crowd let out cheers as they came into view. Her head jerking up to see who all was making the noise.

It was most of the ZPD. Bogo, Clawhauser, and many of the other cops that they had all grown close too. Also there, was Abigail and Dawson, Abigail holding Mirellie in her arms. Stu and Bonnie were there as well. Finnick stood there clapping, smirking at Nick with his usual narrow eyed grin. Laura, Malika, and Artie where there as well. Artie whistling through his fingers.

Clawhauser was pressing his fists up against his cheek, wiggling his body from side to side as he eagerly awaited Judy and Nick to run down the stairs. When he couldn't hold it in anymore, he let out a joyous shriek and rushed up to the two. Wrapping them into his arms and squeezing them tight. "I'm so happy for you two!" he cried out, almost sobbing.

Judy and Nick both smiled as Clawhauser hugged them as tight as he could. "Did you put them up to this?" asked Judy, smirking over at Nick.

"Well I didn't put Clawhauser up to THIS." he said as Nick felt his back pop from Clawhauser's grip.

With one last nuzzle from his chubby cheeks, Clawhauser set them both down. Nick stumbling a bit as he straightened himself out. Judy smiling and showing him the ring.

The crowd began to gather around the two to offer up their congratulations to the newly engaged couple.

"You get one week for the honeymoon. That's it." said Bogo.

"Never thought I'd see you get hitched, Wilde." said Finnick.

"Oh I got so many ideas on the wedding decorations!" said Malika.

"You two are gonna be great together." said Artie.

"I'm so happy for you two." said Laura

"My son-in-law is gonna be a fox... Boy that's gonna be tough to explain to the guys at poker night." said Stu

"Oh shush, Stu. We're all happy you two decided to get engaged." said Bonnie.

"I got some places I can nab for the wedding in reception. Just lemme know." said Dawson.

Abigail walked up to the couple, Mirellie smiling and cooing as she reached her paws out to her mother and father. Judy took her into her arms and showed her the ring, Mirellie fascinated by the pretty metal on her mother's finger. "She's happy too." said Abigail.

Nick saw that she had tears in her eyes. Nick smiling and opening his arms up to Abigail. She immediately rushed over to hug her son, lightly sobbing into his shoulder. "I was so worried for you growing up. But you're gonna be just fine, aren't you?"

"You never have to worry about us again." said Nick.

Judy smirked up at Nick. "Well, at least not about our relationship." she said, playfully elbowing Nick in the side. The crowd sharing in a laugh.

For hours, they walked along in Savanna Central. Talking about plans for the wedding as well as other things. One thing was certain though, Nick and Judy were sure to be much happier together now. But there's still more to their story.

Thirty-one years later

The years rolled by as time moved on. Zootopia still growing and flourishing. With Mirellie being the first natural born Hybrid, cross-species couples were much more widely accepted now. Here and there, a new hybrid would come up. It was a rare occurrence, but something that did happen. Nature evolved further. Of course the hybrid child's parents were of a reasonable type. Not like a mouse and an elephant. But like a deer and a wolf. Along those lines.

Zootopia grew to be more accepting of mammals who reached for greater heights as well. More rabbit and fox cops. As well as mice, and other small mammals were accepted and placed where it would be appropriate for them to be.

Artie McCoy's previous sentence was forgiven thanks to his assistance against Force of Nature. He wasn't particularly happy about it, as he saw his crimes unrelated, but Laura didn't give him much of an option. Artie dedicated his life to working with the ZIA to develop advanced cyber security software for large scale businesses, residents of all financial classes, as well as bureaucratic offices and government installations. His achievements hailed as revolutionary among other tech giants, and tech junkies.

Malika Jimenez kept her job in the ZCTU. Working to help round up any other Force of Nature fanatics that presented themselves to be a problem in society. Eventually getting her own team made up once she took the helm as the team's leader.

Laura Lynx enlisted as an agent into the ZIA. Tagg vouching for her. After some time went by, Laura became its director. She never got a prosthetic eye to use outside of a mission after she lost it to Jacques during the Nature Riot. But instead wore an eyepatch. She thought it made her look more intimidating as director of the ZIA.

King Hasef was true to his word, properly ensuring that any Force of Nature advocates were brought to justice. Upon Force of Nature's capture, and returning to Zoocia, Hasef immediately seized control of Preypred City and issued a full reorganization of its local government. While the worship of Nature's Law was not prohibited further, Force of Nature's actions were testament to what it would mean to be a radical. Very few cells would appear every so often. But were small and easy to take care of. Preypred City has reformed itself as a trade hub for Zoocia. Being a centerpoint for distributing goods across the country, as well as the world. Keeping its lucrative market value, and increasing job prospects. Predator Hour was just as well permanently disbanded. As was the segregation of predator and prey species alike. Majority would say the city is much better off.

Force of Nature's members were made to serve at the Zootopia Administrative Penitentiary Maximum Establishment. Or ZAPME for short.

Leah Maine served in a female ward in an area where they could accommodate her blindness. The weight of her actions weighed heavily on her. On several occasions, she had tried to take her own life. But was thwarted each time either by staff, or other prisoners. She had been put on a perpetual suicide watch, always having a guard with her or a cell mate.

Hunter Lupin served in a specified ward that underwent minor construction to suit him. Due to his paralysis, he would be an easy target for other feisty prisoners so Hunter was placed in a Solitary Confinement cell. However it was constructed to suit that more of a hospital room. Even showing a window to look outside. And a television that he could change with his voice. And from that room, he would live the rest of his life. Getting fed like clockwork, and his bedpan changed every few hours or so. A sponge bath every day. Needless to say, he was miserable. Often times breaking down into tears as he couldn't move. All he could do is sit there and think about what he had done through his life, and what it all meant to those he hurt.

Jacques Akachi served in a regular maximum security cell block. Jacques kept to himself most of the time, also on account of him being unable to speak. When inmates would ask him things, he often wouldn't give them an answer. Jacques had resigned himself to his destiny he put himself on. Living out the rest of his life in acceptance that he was wrong. And he deserved the fate he had been given. His freedoms taken. His voice taken. His dignity taken. And his name ettched into history as a maniacal terrorist leader. Honestly, he'd rather be dead. But he still held on to at least some of Nature's values. Not believing death or suicide would be any kind of redemption for him.

Elias Wilde served for many years, but his health began to decline rapidly. Upon having a seizure in one of his cells, it was discovered that Elias was growing several brain tumors and was moved into intensive care. The stress of his actions causing the tumors to grow. The years kept going by, and his health declined even further. After some time, he'd lose motor functions. Then his ability to speak began to fade away. Then his sight faded as well. And finally, his hearing was gone too. Suffering seizures on a regular basis.

Upon realizing that Elias was no longer mentally fit for prison, he was moved to a mental institution to live out the rest of his days. He lived a long life in this state. Much longer than doctors had anticipated. They couldn't explain why, but it was as if his body just refused to let him die. Day by day Elias would sit in his chair unable to move, talk, see, or hear anything around him. Losing track of the days as he'd just suddenly black out and wake up after a seizure. Only able to sit there, trapped within his own mind that he couldn't escape. Only able to think about where he went wrong. Ask himself how was Nick and his granddaughter doing. Begging for one last chance to see any of them again and to beg for forgiveness. But they'd never fall on anyone's ears. He sat in a wheelchair in a hospital gown under a tree in the yard of the institution on a gloomy, gray cloudy day. And he finally slumped over in his chair. The thin blue line ringing a flat tone on the monitor.

However this day was not about the past, but the future. A large crowd had gathered in front of City Hall. A podium stood at the center of the steps. A platform raised to sit some VIP members to witness the event. Among those in those chairs, were Nick and Judy.

Nick had grown a little chubby in his age. His red fur showing a tint of gray along the ends. More prominent around his cheeks and chin. A cane sitting by his side. Wearing a formal black suit with a green tie and white shirt under it.

Judy had aged very well. Only developing a few wrinkles at the corners of her eyes and white fur showing a bit along with her usual stony gray. Her wearing a lavender colored dress to match her eyes.

They both appeared very excited, and very proud. Eager to let the bright, sunny day continue on this historic of days. A lone mammal walked to the podium. A male Tanuki by the name of Alex Racdog tapped on the microphone. "Ladies and Gentlemen. Thank you all for coming on this day. Now without any further delay, please allow me to welcome your new Mayor, Mirellie Wilde to the stand!"

The crowd erupted into cheers as Mirellie walked out from behind a wall on the platform. Waving at the crowd as she walked to the podium. Nick and Judy both clapping for their daughter.

The election was hard-won by Mirellie. Persevering through and through to reach her goal of becoming the city's mayor.

She wore a gray-blue blouse with matching colored dress pants. Black heels as well with it. The shirt under the blouse white as snow. Mirellie had grown to be a beautiful young woman, now the age of thirty-two. Always keeping up on fitness to keep her form in shape. Keeping the gray fur and cream underbelly she inherited from her parents. Her ears were wide at the base of her head before meeting up at taller points resembling that more of a rabbit halfway up. Her tail was bushy and long like that of a fox's but the fur on her tail was more thin like that of a rabbit. Resulting in more of a plume-like tail rather than a bottle brush similar to that of a fox. Keeping her green eyes like that of her father's.

Once ready, she gave her speech. "Thank you all for coming on this amazing day. And I first want to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be your mayor. I've wanted to stand here since I was a little girl still barely able to figure out how multiplication worked. And thanks to the help of my wonderful campaign team, we made that dream a reality." The crowd burst into cheers and applause. Almost every tv tuned into the event and displaying on jumbotrons around the city. The crowed filled the streets, not leaving a single blank spot in eyesight of the podium. "I promise to keep Zootopia's values at their core. To allow this great nation of ours to continue to grow and prosper through peace, stability, and acceptance of all. I will help move this great city forward because of all of you. And all of you can still move this city forward through your own spirit, hope, and love that you've shown to me. Help me share that love to everyone. To the unfortunate who lose everything, and even to the worst who bring misery to others. To love and accept all, is to love and accept the worst. I will see to it that no one is left alone. That no one is discriminated for their species, or even their past. Everyone deserves a chance at a happy life. But they must reach out and take that happiness we're sharing. And if they reject it... well then that's for them to decide."

The crowd burst into more applause, Mirellie holding up her paw to wave and silence them politely. "This city has been through a lot. And the scars of those battles and hatred still run deep in the hearts of many. And I am here to tell all those who still have doubt and still hate that I am here for you. We are here for you. Everyone in Zootopia will be here for you to help you. Don't be afraid to reach out to us and to help us help you. Don't let the past decide how you feel about things. Live in the now and see the world for what it is, and not what it once was. Things like Bellwether, Leon Snowly, and Force of Nature are all things that hurt this city to its core. And me with my administration will protect us all from something like that from ever happening again."

More applause came from the crowd. "Sometimes we may disagree on how we're going to get to where we need to be, and that's okay. We should discuss what would be the best path but not meet each other in anger over it. That's the beauty of how our system works. We can throw in ideas as crazy as predator and prey living together, which this city was founded on. We can throw in another crazy idea like a predator and prey being together and a hybrid can be born from that." she said as she gestured to herself. Judy smiling and grabbing hold of Nick's paw to gently squeeze it. Nick smiling and squeezing hers back.

"We have no wars to fight. Our economy is doing outstandingly well and our relationships with our allies have never been stronger. So let's focus on making ourselves better for everyone. Lets build up and out till we're as prosperous as we can possibly be! And when my time is done here, I'll still be working to make the world a better place. Thank you, Zootopia!"

The crowd erupted into cheers and applause. Nick and Judy standing up as well to join them. The ceremony continued with Mirellie being sworn into office by Alex Racdog. Who is the Chief Justice of Zootopia. The former mayor, a pig named Elizabeth Swinell, shook Mirellie's paw once the ceremony was over.

Finally, Mirellie turned to her parents. Judy smiling and opening up her arms as she tried to hold back tears. Mirellie giggling and walking up to hug her mother. Nick walking over with his cane and wrapping his arm around his daughter's shoulder. "You did it, pup." said Nick with one of his many nicknames for Mirellie.

She smiled and kissed her father on the cheek. "Thank you guys for coming out. It means so much."

"We wouldn't miss it for the world, sweetheart. I'm so proud of you. You're gonna do so great!" said Judy as she pushed Mirellie's cheeks together sweetly.

Just then a male canine mix breed walked up to Mirellie. Placing his paw on her shoulder and smiling. "Can I get an autograph, Mrs Mayor Wilde?"

Mirellie turned to the canine and smirked, lightly jabbing him in the shoulder. "You've had enough autographs, Bruce. Or should I say First Husband?"

Bruce Barkley, Mirellie's husband. They had met in high school and clicked ever since. Nick and Judy proud to have him married to their daughter. Though Nick was a bit wary at first, Bruce's playful and jovial attitude reminded himself of Judy a lot in her younger days. Not that she changed much.

Nick smiled warmly and shook Mirellie's shoulder lightly. "Go get'em, champ."

Judy smiled as well, hugging her daughter one last time before letting her go. "Knock'em dead honey."

She smiled gratefully and waved. "Thanks. Love you guys!" she called out before heading off with Bruce to meet up with her administrative team to get to work.

Judy smiled up at Nick, taking her paw in his. Nick smiled down at her with warm eyes. They had been through so much together. And persevering through it all, they got to witness this momentous of days. And what's more, they got to see their daughter make history. To be chosen to lead Zootopia, the city they fought to protect and serve.

They had no regrets in their life. Glad that they made the choices they did leading up to this. Back at their house in the suburb, a montage of pictures hung on a wall in the hallway. If you were to walk down it, you'd first see the pictures Judy and Nick took before Force of Nature all the way up to their first kiss. Then more pictures started coming up.

Mirellie taking her first steps. Nick squatted down with his arms outstretched as Judy stood behind Mirellie. A bright, happy smile on the baby's face. She walked all the way to Nick that day, three big steps for the little Foxit.

Judy's and Nick's wedding. They held it outside at Bunnyburrow. Judy standing in an elegant white dress while Nick wore a fashionable tuxedo with a green vest underneath it. Stu could be seen crying in the corner of the picture while Bonnie was rolling her eyes. The ZPD, as well as Artie, Laura, and Malika having made it as well. Abigail holding Mirellie who was dressed in a cute little pink dress. Finnick's 'best man' speech was a little vulgar, but fitting for a guy like him. Nick and Judy had no complaints about it... but others did.

The dance at the wedding, Judy and Nick in each other's arms as they slow danced to their own hand-picked song. Landing on one by Gazelle. They hoped to get her to play the song in person, but wasn't able to make it. She sent a wonderful wedding gift though, personally congratulating them.

The reception of the wedding held in Stu's biggest barn. Nick having his bowtie unfastened with a drink in hand. Judy had never seen him that drunk having the time of his life. Finnick there as well having a great time with Nick. Artie and Bogo there too giving Nick a hard time about being married. All just playful bantering of course. Recalling that just shortly after that picture, Nick had to run outside to throw up. Judy with her friends and family at the reception. Judy having gotten a bit drunk as well that night. Not as much as Nick though.

Nick and Judy both passed out at the reception. Dawson having snuck the picture before leaving that following morning. Nick on his back with one of his arms above his head, mouth open. Judy laying with her chin on his chest, one of her arms laying across Nick's face. They both had massive hangovers the next morning.

Both Nick and Judy during their honeymoon. Deciding on a nice vacation beach resort hotel. Several pictures of them sitting by the beach-side enjoying drinks. Out on the balcony overlooking the clear blue sea. Even one picture Nick managed to snag of Judy walking into a hot tub. Only thing visible from Judy was her silhouette. Their little secret for that picture is that Judy was completely nude. But the lighting of the image would never give that away. Only thing that could be seen is the black outline of a bunny walking towards the hot tub.

A five year old Mirellie holding up several colorful pictures she drew in class she got an A+ on. The picture hung on the fridge for years before they decided to frame it. She was so proud of the picture, so they kept it as a memory.

Mirellie in a mummy costume as she was getting ready to go trick-or-treating. Nick dressed up as Frankenstein's Monster while Judy was dressed as Dr. Frankenstein.

Mirellie's first day of middle school. Judy having taken the picture before she got out of the car. Mirellie having braces on as she was smiling at the camera. She was so nervous, but ready to be in the more grown-up grade.

Nick's and Judy's early retirement from the ZPD. While they loved their jobs, they decided that being home was more important now when Mirellie started to become of age. Judy had gone up several ranks, Nick always just close behind her. Bogo was prepared to offer her the rank of Deputy Chief before they both dropped their retirement papers on Bogo's desk. The ZPD made sure to send them off in style with a big party for them. All of the officers they had come to know and love giving a proper sendoff to the most favorite (and adorable) couple in the ZPD.

Prom night. Mirellie and Bruce standing side by side with bright smiles. Bruce had introduced himself to the family a few years back when Mirellie was a freshman. While he was quick to grow on Judy, Nick had his reservations for a while. Over time, the canine grew on him. Nick welcoming him as a family member by the time this picture was taken.

Bruce and Mirellie sitting on the couch. Both of them fast asleep. Mirellie having her head tucked under Bruce's chin as they both snoozed on the couch. Judy having caught this picture after coming home one evening. Nick sat down with Bruce to have a long talk with him after that to make sure no 'funny business' happened that night.

High school graduation. Mirellie holding up her Academic Honors high school degree. She was ready to take off to university not a week later. Ready to continuing to further her education to realize her dream of becoming Zootopia's mayor.

Judy napping on Nick's chest as they both sat on the couch one lazy evening. The sunset visible in the background from the sliding glass door. Nick having a contented smile on his face as Judy drooled on his shirt.

Nick sitting at the table eating breakfast, a startled look on his face as if he wasn't expecting the picture to be taken. Still having the spoon in his mouth.

An elderly Abigail sitting next to a grown Mirellie next to a Christmas tree. Both of them were having a meaningful conversation with each other, and Nick decided to sneak a picture when they weren't looking.

Mirellie's college graduation. Holding up her degree in Civics and Political Science. A degree she would use to make her career in politics to become Zootopia's mayor. The gray showing on Nick's face at the time this picture was taken.

Nick and Judy both sitting on the porch in chairs enjoying the warm summer day. Bruce having snagged this photo when they came for a visit.

Mirellie's and Bruce's wedding. Holding it at a park in Zootopia. Having rented it out for the afternoon. Mirellie in her white dress while Bruce was in a black tuxedo. The picture taken right as they kissed to seal their wedding.

Bruce's and Mirellie's reception. Held in a small venue. A few pictures of cake, dancing, and other events usually done.

The party after the wedding. Where the close friends and family gathered for some hard partying. They had it at Bruce's house. Having a fair sized property in the country. A picture of Nick and Bruce taking shots. A picture of Mirellie and Judy comparing rings, sassing over who had the better husband.

A much older Judy and Nick sitting on the couch side by side watching tv. Nick having taken it like a selfie at the time. Judy having looked over just in time to see him taking the picture.

There was one last picture on the end. A more memorable one that was set there to kind of cement their life experience. It was a group photo taken during the reception. Nick and Judy holding Mirellie in their laps, who had the happiest smile on her face. Nick and Judy smiling as well. Surrounded by the many friends they had made and the family that stuck it all out with them. There were bumps in the road of their life even after the worst of it, to be sure, but they still had each other through it all. Never questioning how they felt about each other ever again. Living the lives they wanted to live and chose to live.

And all the happier for it all.

Alright, that wraps it all up. I wanna thank everyone who stuck with me through... holy crap going on three years now. I know it was a rough and long road and I'm glad I stuck through it till the end! Not sure what I'm gonna write next. I got a few ideas rolling around but I don't think I'm gonna start anything for a while.

Thank you, everyone!
