Third P.O.V.
"Chase."
Chase looks up from the cyber desk to find himself alone in the lab.
Shrugging it off he turns his attention back to the computer.
"Chase..."
Again, Chase looks around the room, still seeing no one.
"CHASE!"
Chase jumps up from his chair, "Okay, who's there?"
"What? You mean you don't recognize my voice? It's probably cause you never listen to me."
"Are...are you my conscience?" Chase asks, still seeing know one else in the room.
The voice inside of Chase's head laughs, "No, I'm Peter Pan. Of course I'm your conscience! You would've known if you'd ever pay attention to me!"
Chase scoffs, "Whatever. Hey, how come I can literally hear you?"
"Maybe cause you're feeling guilty. I know what you're looking at on the cyber desk."
Chase looks at the cyber desk and frowns, "I'm looking at a blue print..."
"Oh whatever. I just decided it was time to annoy you."
"Yeah, as if you don't do that enough already!" Chase retorts.
"Hey, I've helped you a lot! Well...when you were younger. Now you've grown up and become too cool for your ole conscience."
Chase rolls his eyes, "Okay, you know what, I'm just gonna ignore you."
The voice scoffs, "As always."
Chase rolls his eyes and starts looking back at the blueprints.
"What are those for?" the voice asks. Chase sighs, "I'm building something."
"What is it?"
"It's a bicycle."
"It looks a little girly for you. Is that pink?!"
Chase grunts, "It's not for me! It's for my sister!" The voice gasps, "You mean our sister Bree?"
"No. I mean my sister Bree!" Chase puts emphasis on my.
"Well, I'm a part of you so that makes her my sister to!...So why are we making it for her?"
"Adam melted her old one with his heat vision. So I'm making her one that has a built in GPS, it can go as fast as she can, and is rust proof. I should probably make it heat resistant too..." Chase replies.
"And we aren't making anything!" He adds.
The voice huffs, "Fine! But don't come to me asking for advice anymore!"
Chase smiles. "Deal!"
"That's it! I am never going to help you ever again! I'm going to make you feel nothing but guilt for the rest of your life! I'm going to be your worst nightmare!" The voice laughs evilly.
"You already are! Now shut up!" Chase yells.
At that moment Adam walks in. "Who are you yelling at?"
"My conscience," Chase replies. Adam gasps, "I wanna talk to him! Fred will never talk to me!"
"Fred?"
"Yeah, my conscience. His name is Fred."
Chase stares at him for a second, then turns back to Hs work. Adam runs up beside him, grabbing his head and yelling in his ear, "Hi Chase's Conscious."
Chase yells because of his super hearing, "Adam, stop!"
"Hey! What's up, bro?" the voice greets. "Did he say anything back?" Adam asks Chase.
Chase grunts, "He said what's up." Adam smiles, "Nothing much. I'm gonna hang out with you all day!"
Adam hugs Chase's head tightly, leaving Chase with a "so done" expression.
Bree and Donald walk in, "What are guys doing?" Donald asks with an eyebrow raised.
"Talking to my conscious," Chase says, while at the same time Adam says, "Hugging Chase's conscience."
Adam grins widely, hugging Chase's head tighter. "Ugh, Adam! Ow!" Chase tries to pull away.
Bree crosses her arm and laughs, "This family is never gonna stop being weird."
