Go-Busters: Game ON, Chapter Eight

This Chapter I will be finishing the previous arc. Apologies for any perceived lateness I was updating many stories when I should have been studying, which I passed, BOYAH!

:Chapter Eight Start:

Fourteen Years prior-Namikaze Robotics-Minato's Lab/Office-A year before the incident

A younger Orochimaru was standing and looking at the back of Minato Namikaze as he was adjusting a red robotic arm before Orochimaru spoke, "I am leaving Namikaze Robotics, to work with the USP."

Minato stops tinkering before he starts up again and says, "It will be sad to see you go, Orochimaru. Any reason for the sudden change?"

Orochimaru simply states, "I am tired of being denied on perfect projects until I add a flaw. I find the whole thing pointless."

Minato smiles before admitting, "True have the perfect robot or machine would make sense, until it is stolen by a flaw that is definitely not in the original design. But flaws make things interesting, especially if the 'flaw' could save a life." Orochimaru nods before Minato says, "Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance in the future," this would be the last time that Orochimaru ever spoke to Minato Namikaze.

Messiah's forward Base-Location undisclosed-twelve hours before Vaglass Megazords attack.

Enter Paces back and forth as Delete enjoys himself by researching sources of Ruby Quartz, while Gizmo was seen sleeping on the laptop. Enter glares at Gizmo and heads to slap him awake only for Delete to speak, "Don't we need him intact, that includes ensuring he is healthy to complete his job, as it were."

Enter growls before saying, "We are wasted on this human. The Programmers could have solved the equations."

Delete frowns before saying, "Humanity has advanced since the programmers have joined Messiah's ranks. We need an expert in with experience with our mission," he points to Gizmo and says, "Gizmo, smartest up and coming villain who is pioneer on the compression system we intend to use for MEGAZORD TYPE DELTA. So do not injure or harm Gizmo until after his usefulness is complete." Enter growls before leaving causing Delete to smirk as Gizmo 'awakens' with a nervous look as Delete says, "Happy I told you to slow down?"

"Yeah," Gizmo admits before asking, "What exactly is this side project you are having me work on? From what I can tell it is a software storage version of what you have me working on."

"That is exactly what you are doing," Delete answered as he walked around the table separating them before grabbing Gizmo's shoulders and saying, "You will change the world," his tone appearing insane and causes Gizmo to sweat.

The Bunker-That Moment

Choji and Hinata watched as Vic used Naruto's computer to analyse the component of the Drilloid that Choji and Lee destroyed half a day before. Enertan eyes were flashing between the three primary colours while Kurama appeared to groan in sadness next to Hinata's feet in boredom. Vic then spoke up, "Well according to the Computer. This is just a drill bit, only with added mechanical biomass. Which explains how they are able to function like a Human, but the original item is reconfigured, and it may be possible to retrieve the items used."

Hinata frowns before asking, "Where could they have gotten something like that?"

Vic frowns before another screen comes on and he reads, "Vaglass Virus," he panicked for a second before he finished reading, "Analysis. Wow, these computers are amazing."

Enertan spoke, "Yes, I am amazing. I analysed the component and have given time, a filter can be developed to remove the virus from items."

Everyone frowns at that before Vic asks, "Why though? I mean the only things that could have been affected with the virus are objects that you have all destroyed."

Hinata was the first to state, "Not if teleportation is involved. Our abilities were caused by the Vacine program all those years ago when we were teleported away from our parents' laboratory."

Choji then adds, "Plus, have you forgotten to look in a mirror Victor, half your body is at risk."

Vic frowns before asking, "How long will that filter take?"

Wind District Hospital-That moment

Naruto continued to wait for Orochimaru to recover from the emergency surgery, turns out he had massive internal bleeding due to microscopic metal fragments in Enter's tendril whips that left some energy burns in the wounds the delayed healing of the organic matter. Naruto accepts a cup of coffee from Nick who also gave one to Shikamaru. Naruto then sees Tsunade step out of Orochimaru's room where Naruto asks, "Is he okay?"

Tsunade sighs before saying, "If I had gotten to him any later, he would not have made it," she then punches a wall to the side creating a large indent before saying, "When I find out who decided to remove me from the USP Emergency Medical Doctors, will get neutered."

Naruto frowns before asking, "Will he recover?"

Tsunade calmed down before saying, "I don't know, I have placed him in stasis until we can find a proper cure to the damage." She sighs before admitting, "It is probably going to take years. What with the damage appearing to shift and morph like a virus, it may have been the Vaglass one we are so worried about."

"Damn," Naruto states before saying, "I will organise some sensors that can be used to help scan for the virus hopefully we can find a cure."

That was when a commotion was made by several ROOT USP soldiers arrived. The leader of the group went over to Tsunade and asks, "Tsunade Senju?" Tsunade nods before the soldier says, "You are under arrest for illegal surgical operation on the victim Orochimaru Sherohebi."

Naruto frowns and gets between the soldiers and Tsunade while saying, "Are you sure that is a smart idea?"

"We can arrest you as well for being an obstruction to justice, if you want?" The soldier states while Naruto smirks at him.

When the soldier was about to do just that Mifume and Director Sarutobi arrived when Naruto says to the Soldiers, "I call your boss yesterday about an old friend that was hospitalised, still want to arrest me?"

Director Sarutobi frowns at the soldiers and says, "You are all to return to base, and all will receive a warning. Now leave!" Director Sarutobi looks to Naruto and says, "Can we speak in private?"

Tsunade speaks, "Orochimaru's room is free just unplug the camera if it is top secret," she walks to the front desk and starts speaking with the staff.

Mafune and Sarutobi enter the room with Naruto who frowns as he removes the cable on the camera above the door before he speaks, "What do you need to know?"

Mefune spoke, "Why do you dislike working with the USP, when you know that it would help with avenging your parents?"

Naruto crosses his arms before saying, "I won't bother asking how you know I am a Buster, when common sense would have informed you. The reason I am against working with USP is because of Danzo and the Uchiha Corporation. After the incident Danzo forged documents from the former director that suddenly died of 'old' age. They took the Prototype Megazord my father and I had been working on together in the event that Namikaze Robotics had been robbed. Savage Tiger was our emergency backup plan, in the event of," he points his hand towards Orochimaru before he continued, "I don't trust Danzo and frankly the Uchiha makes it worse."

Director Sarutobi frowns before he asks, "Did everyone else survive?" Naruto remained silent as Sarutobi continued, "There have been sightings of Itachi Uchiha around the city. Could they be working with Vaglass."

Naruto answers, "I don't know how to answer that, not yet at least."

Mifune then adds, "What about the Gold and Silver Busters, who are they?"

"I don't know," Naruto answers before saying, "Look I don't know everything, if I did then we wouldn't be having the conversation," Naruto looked at his brace before saying, "If have to get back, an unknown Megazord design is being teleported to the city in a couple hours. I need to make final preparations."

The two members of USP watched as Naruto left allow Shikamaru to enter the room to visit Orochimaru, as they reconnect the camera and walk out the room. Once they reach the USP sanctioned vehicle, Mifune speaks, "How is the investigation of Danzo going?"

Sarutobi simply says, "Strangely, after Orochimaru's assault two sets of documents came to my attention from two different sources, one from inside ROOT USP and the other is unknown. Apparently our plan to replace Sasuke Uchiha have been sabotaged. Danzo's report to us on the results state that Engineer Rock Lee failed to protect the design of the new Megazord design, but the counter report from inside ROOT USP states that Lee managed to destroy one of the Metaroids that attacked the research station." Mifune hums in understanding, "The other operatives that have shown any type of ability have been injured in what can only be described as training accidents, while the others mentioned in the reports were removed for causing said accidents, even when the accident was apparently sabotaged by an instructor like the ones who arrived to arrest Tsunade, when she has the same level of clearance as me."

Mifune frowns before asking, "I am surprised that even happened, how did Danzo achieve such a feat?"

"The only way is if he had access to a computer hacker that made it into USP systems," Director Sarutobi states.

With Shikamaru-Outside Wind District Hospital-Half hour later

Shikamaru walked out the side entrance of the Hospital while being watch from a building a distance away from him, the Gold and Silver Busters. They watched as Shikamaru was knocked out by the ROOT USP Soldiers and arrested with his rights removed. Gold spoke, "We need to-" only to be interrupted by Silver who shouts, "We need to save Him!" only to be slapped when he was pushed out the way by Gold who shouts, "Don't cover me!" before they followed after the ROOT USP as they returned to base, while the two Busters pursuit.

The Bunker-another half hour

Naruto arrives on Nick, to find Vic going over the design specks of the Buster Machines while arguing with Enertan. Hinata was sitting to the side eating an energy bar while Choji was going over his blaster and sabre. Gorasaki and Yuusada were exiting the elevator with a table of snacks while Jinx, Mammoth, Garth and Hanabi trying to get their hands on the cookies.

Naruto shakes his head before asking, "What do we have?"

Choji without looking up says, "Vic and Enertan managed to analyse a Metaroid component. Enertan believes that a filter can be made."

Naruto nods as he walks over to the computer and says, "Enertan organise a series of sensors to detect the Vaglass virus in organic matter."

Enertan spoke, "Medical equipment should be easily made. Organising a system that could safely scan living matter," Enertan was silent before saying, "I will organise a safe method for Orochimaru," Naruto nods before Enertan spoke, "Enemy Megazord inbound, T-Minus eleven hours."

Naruto nods before pressing a key and typing over Vic's shoulder before scans of the unknown Megazord was displayed revealing a streamlined form along with a single horn over a Cyclops like nature. Naruto looks at it lightly before his eyes widened before saying, "The Microzord," everyone looked at him as he clears up what he meant, "The Microzord prototype was a heavy duty repair drone that was being developed in order to construct habitats in hostile locations, where the location is too dangerous for human constructions. Like the original construction plans for the Mars bio-domes fifteen years ago."

Hinata then asks, "What happened to stop that?"

"Nothing," Naruto answered before saying, "The original concept was cancelled due to Uchiha interference and stolen funding. What they did not know was that the research was modified and had been intended to finish the project ten years ago," he looked at everyone before saying, "Uzumaki Industries plans to complete this in a year. The plan is still top secret as Project Ares will be launched in a year."

Choji asks, "How big was the Microzord?"

"About the size of a Buddyroid," Naruto answered causing Choji to frown as Naruto continued, "But this is the size of a Megazord. Scaling the design works as one of the major factors of teleportation is scale, and they have one of the two original prototypes."

Vic asks, "Where is the other one?"

"With the Uchiha," Naruto answered before saying, "We need to get ready, so I will calibrate the weapons and defences, I won't be able to get the combination systems working."

Hinata then speaks, "We will help you the best we can," Choji nods in agreement.

ROOT USP Base-Secret Prison Block-Interagation Room-Two hours later

Shikamaru sat opposite the Root Soldier Captain who had been asking him several dozen questions while under the influence of truth serum, while the actual never asking the question that would seal his fate. Shikamaru groans before saying, "Look I don't know where they are, I don't talk with them."

The Soldier slammed a fist on the table before shouting, "They saved your life, why would they do that!?"

"Perhaps they are just good people," Shikamaru answers before being slapped painfully to the ground.

The soldier shouts, "Send him back to his cell!"

Once Shikamaru was taken from the room Danzo entered and asks, "What is your progress?"

The soldier simply states, "The child refuses to give up his criminal allies, we believe he will break if we starts torturing him."

"Do it after the Megazords attack," Danzo states, "that way we can have him added to the casualty list." The Soldier nods with enthusiasm not noticing the camera light flashing red, where Savage Tiger was watching them.

With the Vaglass Agents-Six Hours before Megazord attack.

Enter was sitting on top of a random building after hacking into the camera system so that he may sit at a table playing with a random fork while he type on his computer where he searched for future supplies. He looks up suddenly when he sees Delete asking, "What exactly are you doing up here, where humans could see you?"

Enter smirks before saying, "I don't care," he laughs before adding, "When the Megazords attack, I plan on using them for a distraction to get the supplies that I can, then I will use the next attack to destroy the Busters and collect the supplies using hostages."

Delete frowns before saying, "Whatever," Delete looks to a pair of Enertron towers and says, "Two towers to choose from, where you could get all of one or some of both," Delete then vanished leaving Enter to think.

The Bunker-Four Hours before Megazord attack.

Naruto typed at the main computer while Choji worked on a laptop with Vic. Naruto is designing a new weapon while Nick, Gorasaki and Yuusada were attached to the computer while patiently waiting for Naruto to finish. Nick then asks, "What exactly are you adding?"

"I am adding a new missile system into the Buster Machines, this should improve our attack ability with the sensor data we received with Metaroid fragment, it should make up for Buster-oh," Naruto stated.

Nick then says, "How exactly?"

"They solidify when in contact with the Vaglass Virus," Naruto answered before typing some more as Hinata came back down yawning as she walks up behind Naruto and hugs him from behind before Naruto asks, "Did you enjoy your nap?"

Hinata nods before asking, "do we have any plans for taking down the two Megazords?"

"Already upgraded the Buster Machines, Nick, Gorasaki and Yuusada, with the new weapon systems," Naruto answered as he closed his eyes before sighing in content as Hinata hugged him from behind. Naruto then says, "Hopefully we can sort this out before too much damage occurs."

Hinata nods before asking, "When was the last time you got any sleep?"

"Two days ago," Naruto answered before saying, "Damn ROOT USP being complete incompetent dicks, arresting innocent people and just being illegal pricks."

Hinata massages his shoulders as she says, "They are not our problem at the moment. For now just focus on what is in front of you."

Naruto smiles before saying, "After the battle a nap will be in order afterwards," only he he falls asleep after saying that during Hinata's massaging of his shoulders.

Choji from his laptop says, "Good job Hinata, he needed rest."

Hinata nods before heading over to Choji and Vic to ask, "What are you two working on?"

Vic answered, "We are looking over the Buster Machines, trying to find a way for them to combine properly without failure like in the simulations."

Hinata frowns before looking at the designs and saying, "From what the simulations found, the buster machines failed due to gravity in forty percent of them, while the other sixty was because of other factors. It appears we need to find out what is should be focused on and find a way to make it work with each method to fix it."

Choji then rubs his face before saying, "What we need is a mobile assembly plant or some method of instantaneous combination," Choji leaned back and says as Naruto appears to awaken in his seat, "Maybe have them combine before we summon them."

Naruto shot up and shouts, "OF COURSE! It was so simple Garfield should have thought of it!" he begins typing on the computer and says, "I even already made the prototype. NICK, GORASAKI AND YUUSDA, get over here there is one final upgrade," causing the three Buddyroids to sigh.

With Gold and Silver Buster-Two hours before-Outside entrance of ROOT USP

Gold looks over the entrance of the ROOT USP while Silver is behind him tied to a radio tower, with the end of the cable attached to the Gold's blaster phone. Gold looks down to the entrance and says, "Well the entrance is covered at all angles with surveillance. We won't get in without a distraction," he looked to the side of his weapon before saying, "Two hours until we stage a jail break, but we will need a place to take him."

Silver frowns before saying, "Why not to his home," Gold walked over to him and slapped his head before Silver says, "What about the hide out?"

Gold slapped him again before saying, "He can't stay in the forest with you," Gold rubbed his helmeted head until Silver speaks, "Not our hide out," Gold looked up and stared at Silver through his helmet before saying, "Of course, we can take him there when the Megazords arrive," he removes the cables around Silver before covering his blaster to a phone and started texting. Silver starts walking away when Gold grabbed his arm with his free arm and says, "We have a meeting point, we will have before the end of the battle to get him away from the USP."

Silver appears to frown before saying, "So ten minutes?" Gold sighs before slapping Silver very hard creating a large metal bonk.

With Sakura-ROOT USP Crew Quarters-That moment.

Sakura walks through the halls before knocking on Lee's quarters and hears a muffled voice saying for her to enter. Sakura enters the room to see an exhausted Lee sitting on his bed still wearing his battle gear sitting still staring at the ground. Sakura speaks, "Are you okay Lee?"

Lee was silent for another moment before he says, "I failed, Orochimaru was injured and the designs were stolen."

Sakura frowns before saying, "That is understandable but clearly you did prove one thing," Lee looks at her sadly before she finishes with, "You took down a Metaroid with subpar equipment. Yes they took the blueprints to the new Megazord but that could have happened to anyone who had been sent there as Kabuto had sold the designs to the enemy, and Orochimaru was injured doing his part. You did your best and succeeded. Until then let's get you down to the hanger and you can give me a hand checking on Savage Tiger. There is two signals and Director Danzo wants Savage Tiger ready for battle." Lee nods before Sakura leaves for Lee to get changed.

Lee looks to his hand before questioning, "But will that be enough?" what he fails to realise is that Savage Tiger was watching him before looking elsewhere.

ROOT USP CONTROL ROOM-That moment

Director Danzo waited patiently as Kakashi worked at his terminal before the main doors opened and a dishevelled Sasuke Uchiha arrived and says, "I see that you finally acknowledged that you need me."

Danzo says, "I already knew. One of the candidates failed in protecting the designs of our major weapon replacement for ST-PT. My incompetent superiors will have to admit that you are the only person to protect the city."

Sasuke nods before saying, "Good, perhaps we should engage the enemy five minutes after it attacks."

Kakashi eyes narrow as he programmed the surveillance system to save the treasonous plans to a offsite memory bank as Danzo says, "Very well, it will prove our point." Kakashi remained calm as he sent a link to the data to Director Sarutobi and then covered his tracks as Danzo spoke to Kakashi, "Kakashi erase all security footage of the last five minutes," Kakashi nods simply before Danzo continues, "We will be victorious," with a mad gleam in his eyes.

Kakashi looked at the security of the entrences of the base where he see the Gold and Silver Busters and made them invisible to the security system, before looking for the whatever reason that they were there for and found Shikamaru and frowns under his medical mask clearing the path for the Busters when they made their move.

Wind District-five minutes before the Megazord attack.

Red Buster and the Sled drove along the widest highway of the Wind District before the Vaglass' Megazords arrival where they find a large highway. They drove along as Nick spoke, "Engaging Marker system," his head lights flashed.

That was when several ROOT Soldiers attacked the Sled, where the blasts bounced off of hull and did nothing as they were collected into their Buster Machines.

RH-03 took off from the back of GT-02 as CB-01 turned into CB-ACE while skidding along the road with it's sword drawn. GT-02 transformed into its gorilla form as RH-03 flew around the area and proceeded to wait for the last couple minutes before the Vaglass' Megazords arrival. The ROOT USP continued to attack the Buster Machines as they patiently waited long enough for Blue to ask, "So are we ignoring the Soldiers trying to damage the Buster Machines?"

"Yes," Red answered as he made some adjustments as he looked around where the soldiers were attacking ACE's foot and adjusted the movement of the lower half to avoid the stepping in the attackers. Red then goes on to say, "Blue move to section seven of the district and Yellow increase altitude another five hundred feet to two hundred feet north, that should have the Megazords caught in a pincer attack."

Nick then spoke up, "Enemy Megazord arrival t-minus three, two, one," that was when nothing happened. Nick spoke, "That is strange the teleportation happened but where is it?"

Red frowned under his helmet before muttering, "maybe," he taps some buttons on the wall next to him and his eyes widened before he shouts, "Blue jump left!"

GT-02 dodged to the side and avoided a series of blasts coming from the ground below and Ace had to avoid the attacks suddenly changing targets Blue shouts, "Where is it coming from?"

"Underground," Red replies as Ace jumps high to avoid another attack. Red then adds, "Yellow estimate the Megazord's location from the attack directions and fire phase missiles."

RH-03 flew through the air towards where the attacks were coming from and fired glowing green missiles at the ground that phased through and of the ten that were fired only one hit, the other nine dispersed into energy that did zero damage. Yellow frowns before saying, "Those missiles take up a percent for every shot fired," she flew to the side as shots were fired at RH-03 and she continued, "I think I missed."

Red frowns under his helmet and connected all the sensors of all the Buster Machines together before saying, "Keep dodging we have another ten minutes before the other Megazord makes an appearance." Ace did a barrel roll to avoid the next attack before Red says, "We may need to combine, but," he was silent before saying, "We will only have one shot."

Yellow spoke, "Let's do it and then we can take down the other," her determination was infectious.

Blue laughs while Red nods before saying, "Combine Operation!" All three Buster Machines glowed green before GT-02 and RH-03 disassembled and flew around CB-ACE that generates a field of green energy that surrounded them that deflected a series of shots at the Buster Machines. GT-02 transformed into a pair of fee and the head flipped upside down and attached to ACE's chest while RH-03 turned into a pair of arms, a helmet and a back pack, while the animal heads of ACE and RH-03 to connect each of ACE's shoulders as the arms folded back, while the final piece of RH-03 connected to the back of ACE. Red breathed deeply in relief before saying, "Go-Buster-Oh! Game On!" ACE swung it's sword as the two thrusters of RH-03 attached to the pommel.

Go-Buster-oh found the enemy Megazord as Blue spoke, "Generating Energy Output," as he pushes an accelerator control that increased the output of the Enertron reactors.

Yellow spoke next as she flipped several switches and says, "Redirection ready!"

Red activates Go-Buster-Oh's targeting system and found the Alpha Model Megazord Drill Custom underground before pulling the trigger on his controls and having GT-02's wheels blast blue energy at the ground before the Megzord was forced to the surface in a large sphere that floated in the air as Go-Buster-Oh raised its sword as it glowed green before Red shouts, "Dimension CRASH!" Go-Buster-Oh's sword glowed before slashing through the blue energy sphere imprisoning the Enemy Megazord before the field collapsed which it imploded instead of exploding and only left a single puff of smoke.

Yellow was the first to speak, "YES!" before shooting her arms into the air before the second Vaglass Megazord the Gamma Type appeared above Go-Buster-Oh where it shakes before Go-Buster-Oh split apart causing CB-ACE, GT-02 and RH-03 to fall down.

ACE stands and while RH-03 struggled to land on GT-02 in it's truck form before the two collapsed and left the Sled parked in the street. Red shouts, "MOVE!" Blue sped forward saving the four from being stepped on by the Gamma Megazord Cutter Custom. Red spoke to them and says, "Head back to base I will try to take down the Gamma."

Yellow spoke as she and Blue left the area, "stay safe," in a whisper.

Red simply says, "I will do my best," before ACE charged the Gamma.

Enter on a building in the distance smiles at the battle as he makes notes on ACE and GO-BUSTER-OH. He watches as the Gamma man handle ACE though the air and onto a building that belongs to Uzumaki Industries, which fortunately was empty, while on computer was filled with important space travel research, which had been empty since the Namikaze Robotics incident. ACE recovered and avoided a set of missiles from the Gamma's hand.

ACE recovered before Red starts muttering, "They kept the design parameters and had them amplified," he presses some buttons and says, "I will need to take some time. Damn."

Nick spoke, "I will increase the scan intensity," causing Red to nod as they avoiding another set of missiles.

With Gold and Silver-five minutes before Megazord attack.

As a convoy of ROOT USP soldiers were deployed from the 'secret' entrance of the Wind District Gold led Silver into the USP ROOT facility silently. They poorly avoided the security cameras that was not recording them, except for the systems inside ST-PT, walked through the facility until they see a screen that told them where to go. Gold nods at the sign before walking through the halls until the entire building shook violently, when the second Megazord crashed into the ground. They reach the cell block where the guards were sleeping at their posts as Silver lazily walked past them, as Gold stared at them strangely before following Silver.

They continue to walk before they find the only cell that has a person in it. Shikamaru groans when he sees Silver breaking the barred door before Shikamaru says, "About time you got here J," he then sees Gold and says, "Hello again," Shikamaru smiles as Silver picks.

Silver hums before saying, "We have a plan to keep you safe," that was when the three ran through the underground base and smashes their way out the underground base to see ACE fighting the Gamma Megazord.

Gold looked at the fight and says, "Damn ACE is clearly failing to beat it."

Shikamaru frowns before saying, "ACE does not have the power to destroy that model. The best he can do is to temporarily disable it with ACE's sword." Shikamaru groans before asking, "So what is your plan for me?"

Silver simply says, "We are going to hide you where they cannot find you," with the three ran down to the closest river.

With ACE-that moment.

ACE continued to attack the Gamma with fast attacks and avoiding the different attacks from the Gamma. ACE moved to avoid to attacks while also leaving the Gamma's back facing a large section of river. ACE was then hit with several missiles as it stepped back. ACE stepped back using it's sword to defend before a giant green frog jumped out the river behind the Gamma and fired large tadpole shaped missiles from the back knocking the Gamma forward as ACE jumps high. ACE thrusts it's sword forward and towards the Gamma where it pierced the face plate of the enemy Megazord, while the cutter slashed through the Cheetah face on ACE's chest.

ACE crashed down on its feet while leaving its sword impaled in the Gamma's face where the cutter was still attached to the ACE's chest before it fell down leaving a large gash in ACE's armour.
