Scars are stories to be told-

It was a terrible day when a magical thing happened - well for Arthur that is. As the ground got softer and the shoes muddier a miracle awakened, Arthur Slipped. His shield went flying in the direction where Merlins head should have been. Percival seeing the mishap had pulled Merlin out the way by his shirt causing it to slip and reveal his shoulder- and a scar leading from his collar bone... Down. A yell of 'MERLIN!' indicated the crowned King to this. "What happened- did it hit him? I didn't hear it hit him!" Arthurs face lifted from the muddy ground to see Merlin pulling his top back on his shoulder. "What? What happened?" Percival looked at his king, who was frantically looking between his knight and his manservant and was very much ... covered in mud from head to toe.

Sir Gwain burst out laughing at the scene he had turned to; this caused a chain reaction leading to the Kings personal company nearly on the floor in hysterics. Arthur being the King –pouted. They were no-longer laughing when made to run laps for their outburst, Merlin of cause was excused to run the King a bath, he was a royal adviser but not above punishment.

"So what actually happened? You know which caused Percival to yell so... Loud." Merlin snorted at his king, "For one so loud you really dislike loud things." A splash of water hit the no-longer-menservants face. "I get panicked. Not loud." They remained in silence as the king washed while Merlin made his bed and laid out his clothes. "You do know you aren't a servant anymore, that you have a servant to do exactly that." Arthur gestured to the bed. A soft sigh escaped Merlin. "Its familiar and also I don't see this new 'servant' of yours anywhere." He made his way to the king holding the fluffy towel. A grumbled sound rose from the still secret warlock, "I bet you would like George to get you supper as well M'Lord." Arthur Laughed as he was dressed, falling into long gone familiarity. "You aren't jealous are you?" Merlin blushed.

A week later saw the Kings Company looking at the Rising Sun- Inn. A private booth for Arthur and his round table at a rectangular table with barrels of beautiful, beautiful mead. In Gwains opinion.

Percival was the one who was first to burst, quite unlikely for the stoic Knight. "MERLIN!" He had Yelled with great enthusiasm. "How long have we known each other? We have seen kingdoms Rise *toasts Arthur* and fall. We have seen good go evil and evil go... away?" Percival had a calculating look on his face- "We'd the evil go?" He asked the laughing group. A small smirk on Merlin's face managed to focus him. "Merlin! Miiiiiierlin. We- well- friends, Right?" A nod from more than just Merlin got Percival to continue. "How cm, HOW COME you have that like wicked scase, scars? Scar!" Gwain chimed in. "The one on his foo~oot?" Percival absently waved the question away. "No,no, That one which was on the .. the.. the shoulder?" the Gentle giant Slurred.

Merlin shook his head at the group of Knights, who were all practically begging for him to tell them.
"Let me get another round-" Eleon of all people stopped him and beconed over the barmaid. "Another round mi'lady" He called causign her to blush. Arthur got comfertable, merlin wasn't going to get rid of the knights as eaisly as he had gotten around the king. "The shoulder." Arthur reminded Percivile and subsaquintly the rest of the knights.

Merlin sighed. "Well okay. Fine." Gwein raised and eyebrow at the obvious reluctance. The scrawny man turned to the king and let out a slight whine, "Do I really have to though?" Percivile slammed his mug onto the table.

"Enthrone us with your tails oh Sir Manservent!" He stopped at looked at the meed - he had ment to say something else.

"Okay okay -" Merlin said as the knights got closer wanting to hear, "It all started when-"
