"'Her eyes, they sparkle in the moonlight in a way, that makes stars seem like fireflies.'"

Hermione laughed. "Malfoy, who are you quoting today?"

He stepped towards her, a glass of champagne in each hand. "Wizard poet. You wouldn't know him."

"'Ah, but a man's reach should exceed his grasp'." Hermione quoted, smirking, sure she had stumped him.

"Browning. You quote him constantly, Granger." She took one of the glasses off him, glaring as he grinned. "You'll have to try better than that."

"So how come you're outside with me, and not inside with all your fans?"

He sipped from his glass, glancing back through the glass doors. "I could ask you the same. Maybe I just wanted a little private time with my wife." He glanced at her, smirking slightly. "Although I was thinking a little more private."

She laughed as she leaned back against the railing. "You're chancing your arm, Malfoy. I don't think your wife will want to do anything at a party celebrating you."

"Well, she might. It would be an excellent present." Draco leaned beside her, draining his glass. "There a reason you're not drinking?" He nodded towards her still full glass.

Hermione shrugged slightly. "Maybe it's to do with the present your wife had planned for this evening." She swirled the liquid in her glass, admiring the way it caught the light. "I think she's planning on not drinking for a while." The glass tilted over a nearby plant, liquid trickling out of it.

"Hermione, are you-?" Draco grabbed her hands, ignoring the glasses shattering on the floor at their feet. "Really?" His eyes flickered down to her stomach before focusing on her eyes.

Hermione nodded, her full response lost as their lips met. Arms wrapped around each other as they embraced, Draco's hand between them as it rested on her still flat stomach. Whispers erupted behind them as people saw them through the glass doors and a photographer snapped a photo of the happy couple.
