Haruka, slowly opened the door to the club room that Yakumo used as his free apartment. She sighed seeing the young man was once again fast asleep on the couch.
She smirked before closing the door and quietly setting down her bag far off to the side.
It had been awhile since she had done this to Yakumo. She would probably feel a bit bad after but it would be worth it.
Yakumo didn't see her coming, his head buried into the cushions, breathing evenly, his hair falling into his face. Haruka hesitated… He looked so peaceful.
But… He owes me.
She quickly poked him in the waist jumping back as his eyes shot open, before he lept off the couch ungracefully, stumbling into the opposite wall with a resounding THUD! Eyes wide, panting before he turned his glare to her seeing she was laughing her head off.
"Haruka…"
"I-I'm sorry-I..Hahaha, I couldn't help it!" She giggled wiping away a stray tear. "Yakumo you can be such a cat."
"I get that a lot…" He yawned running a hand through his hair before returning to the couch. "... So what's the problem today?"
"We're doing a club activity today." She declared holding up her bag from where she had retrieved it.
Yakumo raised an eyebrow saying nothing.
"We're going to watch movies and eat snacks." Haruka continued on knowing he wasn't going to answer any time soon.
He folded his arms behind his head and laid back on the couch.
"No." He retorted closing his dual colored eyes. "You watch movies and eat. I'm sleeping."
"I brought chocolate."
"... What kind?"
"Five different kinds. Including some filled with hazelnuts, some filled with caramel and some flavored like tea."
Yakumo sighed. Curse my love of sweets… He sat up making room for her as she set up a laptop on the table before sitting beside him. "So what movie?"
"A really old but scary one… You ever hear of The Grudge?" She asked.
"... You want to watch a ghost movie?" He asked crossing his arms. "Have you no respect?" He smirked.
"Have you?" She retorted mimicking him with a grin of her own.
"Alright then but no holding onto me."
After awhile they were relaxed… For the most part. Yakumo was unphased but found the movie a little disturbing… Haruka couldn't help but hold onto him during some of the scarier parts.
"Haruka, nails."
"Eep! Sorry!" She eased up on his arm, laying her head on his shoulder, stealing a glance up at him.
He quickly looked away having been watching her more than the movie for the moment.
Haruka blinked before she smiled nuzzling into him a little closing her eyes, enjoying the moment.
They hadn't officially told anyone… They were taking it as slow as they needed to, for Yakumo's sake but… This dating thing was pretty nice they'd both admit. Doing things like this, just sitting quietly.
Haruka heard a sound right in her ear that sounded a little TOO realistic to be from the movie. "AIE!"
It took her a second to notice the form she was holding onto was shaking with suppressed laughter.
"Y-Yakumo!" She squealed turning a bit red as he covered his mouth trying and failing to hide the rare laughter that was escaping him. She grabbed a cushion lightly hitting his shoulder with it. "That wasn't funny!"
"I thought it was!"
Haruka pouted before she giggled and settled back to where she was. Yakumo bringing an arm around her shoulders as they turned their attention back to the film.
"... You ever see a ghost like that?"
"Hell no and I'd rather keep it that way."
She nodded jumping a bit as another character on screen died at the hands of Kayako Saeki. "Egh… I never wanna become like that…"
Yakumo's arm around her tightened a bit. "I won't ever let it happen… I promise."
Haruka smiled bringing her arms around him enjoying the warmth. "I know you won't…"
