Alison's POV:

It's late at night and I'm watching some ridiculous sitcom I can't be bothered remembering the name of because I'm too annoyed with my fiancé, Elliot who is currently snoring upstairs in our bed alone. I love him, but every day we get closer and closer to the wedding we just end up arguing about everything from the flower arrangements to the dance lesson I booked for us with the Philadelphia Dance Academy. Every time I bring up plans for the wedding he'd shut me down, storm out the house and come back smelling of alcohol. I know sometimes I can be a bit irritating & impatient but I just want to understand why he's being like this? This is our wedding for god's sake. You think he'd at least have the decency to fake being interested in it. He's not himself and I have no idea why. I wanna ask him about it and get him to talk to me but it would probably end in a yelling match. We've been fighting a lot lately & over the littlest things. Like a few days ago I yelled at him for leaving a coffee ring on the kitchen bench. How stupid is that? Maybe this wedding was becoming more trouble than it was worth.

I sigh heavily as the phone rings. Reluctantly I get off my arse to answer it. "Hello, Alison speaking," I say not all that enthusiastically.

"Hi Alison it's Wendy from Philadelphia Dance Academy-"

"Hi, How are you?"

"Not too well I'm afraid, I've fractured my ankle."

"I'm so sorry."

"Don't be. Anyway I was calling to ask if you & Elliot would feel comfortable with another dance teacher? Now that I'm out of action for the next few weeks". I stayed silent for a moment thinking it over. It wouldn't really make any difference to our lessons given we haven't even started yet so I agreed nodding my head. Realising at once she couldn't see me I responded "Not a problem, feel better soon Wendy. Thankyou for letting me know."

"I'll book you in for the first lesson on Friday night at 7pm with Emily Fields. You will love working with her." With a final goodbye I hung up and went straight back to the mind numbing sitcom from before. As I sat there I kept thinking things over. It was making me so mad. Maybe he didn't wanna marry me anymore?

"Babe are you coming to bed?" I hear Elliot call.

"Soon." I lied. I'm not even the least bit tired. Moving to the kitchen to make a cup of tea I open my laptop to facebook. Not even knowing why and before I realise what I'm doing I'm staring at Emily Fields' face on the Philadelphia Dance Academy page. She's beautiful. Her olive skin, dark flowing hair are just mesmerising. I feel butterflies rise in my stomach just looking at her. I scroll down seeing a link beneath her name. Clicking it I discover it's a video of her dancing to some soundtrack I haven't heard. Her movements are flawless & so graceful. Heat rises in my cheeks as she flirtatiously winks at the camera. Perhaps her boyfriend is shooting this video. My stomach drops and I almost feel jealous. Wait! Jealous? What do I have to feel jealous about? I'm not interested in her? I like men? Don't I? Why would I care if she has a boyfriend? My eyes drop to read the comment section below and most of them are envious of how amazing she is and some ask for private lessons. I decide to leave a comment myself.

'You're very talented. My fiancé & I can't wait to start our dance lessons with you'.

No POV:

After Alison had left her comment she continued to scroll through her news feed with that 'jealous' feeling still lingering in the pit of her stomach continuing to sip her tea until her cup was empty and her eyes had grown tired. She was just about ready to log off when a notification popped up on the screen. A friend request from Emily Fields herself. Her heart skipped a beat. Ali didn't know what she had expected from leaving a simple comment on the page but having her new dance teacher friend request her didn't even make the list. Quickly she accepted, shutting her laptop she headed to bed. Unfortunately her mind was in too much of a tailspin about how her body had reacted to the sight of Emily to stay asleep. I can't seriously be attracted to this woman? Can I? Alison had always admired women before but not in this light. She had never felt a physical attraction as strong as this before, even for her soon to be husband. She daren't even think that it was possible this was a sexual attraction as well. What was happening to her? You don't suddenly wake up one day with a completely new sexual identity? Putting the thought to the back of her mind she closed her eyes...

Yawning, Alison woke alone in bed the following morning. Like usual Elliot always left a hand written note for her next to the coffee machine so she could start her day with a smile. That was one of the things she loved about him. 'Goodmorning beautiful, Have a wonderful day. I'll see you tonight.' She stuck the note on the fridge and crossed off another day on the calendar. Today was Friday.

Ali's POV:

"Oh my god, our dance lesson's tonight!" I say facepalming myself. I had completely neglected to realise what day we were upto. I thought I had more time to find my wedding dress to dance in but apparently not. So I guess one of my cocktail dresses would have to do. I choose my favourite red dress and lay it out on the chair in my bedroom so I can steam it later. Today I don't have to be at work. I called ahead about a week ago and said I wanted to take a day for myself. So I didn't have anywhere to be. So I decided I would catch up on some reading of one of my favourite books 'Great Expectations' I read it so often the cover is peeling off and some of the pages are stained with coffee. Elliot bought me a new copy a few months ago but I like mine better. It has character and it looks like someone has loved it...A little to much. He constantly tells me throw it out and read the new one but I will never do that. Not until mine is completely unreadable. Before I know it I glance at the clock laughing at myself when I see that it reads 6:30pm. I always lose track of time when I read 'Great Expectations'.

It's almost time for the lesson & Alison hasn't even started getting ready let alone driving to Philly. She hurries to her bedroom and grabs her cell phone texting Elliot an urgent reminder that he needs to be there on time. He calls back.

"Hey babe, I'm gonna have to skip this one. The ER has just been notified of a head on collision, They need all hands on deck here. Can you re-schedule?"

"No I can't! I booked this for us not just me! That's the whole point of a couples session Elliot!" I say angrily. God he was really starting to tick me off and I'm starting to really question why I want to spend the rest of my life with him. "Fine!" I say. Holding back the few choice swear words I wanna throw his way and hang up the phone. I guess i'll just call to cancel and hope it doesn't inconvenience Emily. I was really looking forward to it. I dial the number of the academy, it rings out four times before a voice answers "Philadelphia Dance Academy, Emily speaking". Suddenly all knowledge of the English language escapes my mind and I can't seem to find the single word I need 'Hello'. What on earth is going on with you? I say to myself. My mouth is moving but no words are coming out. "Hello is anyone there?" Emily asks. God she must think Im stupid or something. "Uh yes sorry. It's Alison Dilaurentis I have a lesson booked for 7 tonight."

"Yes, Hi. Are you on your way?"

"Not exactly. My husband is a doctor you see and he's been called to assist in the ER, so I'm so sorry to have to cancel our lesson. I do apologise for the short notice".

"Not too worry. You're more than welcome to still come if you'd like? It's actually easier if couples have separate lessons first. It reduces the number of sore toes" she laughs. I laugh as well. "You don't mind if I'm late do you?" I ask crossing my fingers.

"Not at all, in fact you were the only lesson I had booked tonight anyways. I'd rather be teaching you how to dance than be at home alone with my goldfish". I smile bashfully as her laughter reaches my ears again. "I hope your boyfriend or husband doesn't mind me stealing you away tonight." I say without thinking. Seriously! What is with me and this Emily woman? Maybe I shouldn't go through with this lesson. I might end up embarrassing myself or her if I haven't already. I think for minute and against my better judgment I agree to meet her anyway. "Lucky me that I don't have either of those then." she tells me. I feel slightly relieved as I hear the words.

"I guess i'll see you then. Hey, seems as how I'm taking up your free time, How would feel if I bring chinese over? I haven't had a chance for dinner." Ali suggests politely, thinking the least she could do is feed Emily.

"That's so sweet of you. I haven't had a bite to eat since lunch. See you soon."

No POV:

Alison throws on her red dress, perfume and heels driving the distance to the chinese takeout before pulling up outside the academy. Walking in she feels slightly over dressed as other people from different classes are leaving in sweatpants and tank tops. "Wow, Alison you look great!" Emily says. She's wearing the same little navy leotard & flowing skirt from the video on facebook making Alison's jaw want to hit the floor. "Wanna eat first?" Alison asks holding up the bags of takeaway. Emily nods and grabs some cushions from the edge of the room that were used by a mothers and babies yoga group placing them on the floor. "So when is the big day?" Emily asks.

"I don't know. We haven't even set date yet." the blonde admits sadly swirling her folk in the Chicken chow mien.

"How long have you been a dance teacher for?" Alison asks in attempt to change the subject. Emily takes the hint and starts rambling on about her whole life story of how she got into dance and her travels all over the world for international competitions, winning at least 3 of them before being offered a position as dance teacher at the academy. Alison leans forward eager to hear more, loving the way Emily smiles as she talks with so much fire & passion. Alison bites her lip almost unashamedly lost in the brunette's eyes for moment.

"I'm boring you aren't I?" Emily sighs studying the blank look on Alison's face.

"No not at all, I'm just a little upset that my husband couldn't be here" she lies. Immediately Emily puts down the takeout and grabs Alison's hand dragging her to her feet. "Come on, I've got the perfect cure for disappointment. Lets dance! Lets start with something a bit more freeform then in later sessions we can get serious," she smirks. Alison can't help but notice the tiny spark in her eye as the words leave Emily's mouth.

Ali's POV:

Emily is standing behind me with her hands on my hips guiding my movements as latin music booms from the stereo and I swear my knees are about to give way. I feel like I'm seconds away from becoming a hot mess. My stomach is flipping over itself as her hands graze against my thighs showing me how I should be moving. I totally give into her instruction as her breasts press against my back with her hands still lingering on my hips. My heart is literally racing and I almost lose my breath as she whispers in my ear "Are you sure you've never danced before, you're totally a natural,". I laugh nervously when she spins me around so my face is inches from hers. "I hope I'm not speaking out of turn but your husbands an idiot for bailing on you tonight," Emily says.

"Oh, he didn't bail on me, he's just very committed to his work," I reply, not all that sure why I'm providing him with excuses. Emily's hands grip tighter to me.

"If I had a woman like you in my life I wouldn't be so dumb as to not spend time with you. If you were my fiancé I'd worship you like crazy!". Oh my god! Did those words just come out of her mouth? Emily's eyes travel to my lips and back to my eyes staring at me as I stare back. My breath catches in my throat and is instantly stolen from me as Emily plants a heated kiss to my lips. So soft but passionate. My brain is starstruck but my mouth has a mind of its own and moves in time with Emily's as her tongue enters the depths of my mouth. I can taste red wine on her tongue and hints of the after dinner mints she popped into her mouth before we started dancing. I know I shouldn't be doing this! I'm engaged! I'm spoken for but I'm far from being happy. My hands caress the sides of her face, she pulls away breathless looking confused and slightly uneasy. "I-I'm so sorry, I don't know what came over me. There's no ex-" she begins before I cut her off

"Emily. Relax! I know what I'm doing." I say confidently going to kiss her again, hovering there I lick my lips. She shoots me a cheeky smile pecking me on the lips before she wanders over to the light switch bringing the whole room into darkness with the exception the moonlight streaming through the studio windows opposite us. Everything in my upbringing tells me this is wrong, sick, & downright sinful adultery but when I sense her slender fingers touching and worshipping my curves through my dress it feels beyond anything I've ever imagined. Somehow i know this fate, I was meant to meet her. She leaves love bites on my neck as we settle on the cushions making out like two junior high school girls.

No POV:

Alison and Emily lie together staring up the ceiling trying to catch their breaths after all the activity. Nothing happened but if Alison's phone hadn't buzzed with a 'Where are you text' from Elliot, she and Emily might have been lying together naked by now. Alison sits up adjusting her dress so that it's sitting properly on her chest. "I should go, It's late."

"I have to see you again." Emily says quickly almost begging when she takes Alison's hand interlocking their fingers. Alison looks down at her hand in Emily's loving how that feels so natural and out of this world at the same time. Their eyes find each other for a moment in silence before Alison speaks getting up.

"Give me your phone." Is all Alison says. Emily follows instruction & pulls her phone from her bra and hands it to Alison. The blonde adds herself into Emily's contacts.

"Thanks for the dance Emily." Ali replies softly, caressing Emily's cheek with her thumb, subtly tucking Emily's phone back into her bra making the brunette shiver. When Alison arrives home its almost midnight, Elliot is no doubt asleep in bed but to her surprise he's sitting in the lounge-room waiting up for her. "Hey Babe, How was your night?".

"It was great. I actually ended up going to the dance to lesson by myself. It was really fun."

"I'm glad you had a good time. I'm sorry I couldn't get out of work." he says placing his arm around her as she joins him on the couch.

"Its fine," Alison says as he starts kissing her neck. Alison rolls her eyes, he always tries this to get away with disappointing her hoping she'll give in and have sex with him but tonight her mind is on Emily and the wild fun she had tonight. "Babe what are these marks on your neck?" Elliot asks. Alison bites her lip and thinks up a lie quickly "You did that the other night. Iv just had it covered up with makeup, I was in such a rush tonight I forgot about them.

"Oh ok, well what do you say we take this upstairs to the bedroom." he suggests. Alison really doesn't feel like it but goes along with it anyway, But being with him in bed doesn't even measure up to how she felt being with Emily even with all her clothes on. Elliots love making is slightly sloppy and Alison guesses he's had one to many drinks again and he basically passes out before he's even started anything and Alison breathes a sigh of relief when he falls asleep, she leaves the bed and immediately takes a shower feeling gross and strangely guilty like she's cheated on Emily with Elliot and not the other way around. After her shower she hears her phone beep with a new text.

I had the best time tonight. Next week same time? -Em. Alison smiled shyly and immediately texted back.
