Avengers of the Ring – Redux

Hi everyone.

Over the last few months I've undertaken a significant re-edit of Avengers of the Ring. This redux does not represent a radical change of plot. But as the story is the foundation of my MTCU (Marvel Tolkien Cinematic Universe), I believe it was an important exercise nonetheless.

Some of the major reasons for the redux were:

1) Tidy up the dialogue, grammar and syntax in the original.

2) To better align with Earth-199999 details and events subsequent to AoTR's first being published.

3) The increasing number of actors with appearances in both franchises.

4) Any further thoughts of mine can be found at the end of each chapter as [RD: Text].

I would be the last to pass this redux as an original work. To paraphrase Gandalf, it's more AoTR as it should've been.

I hope to start publishing my next MTCU work soon. It will be set in The Hobbit trilogy.
