Kyoya couldn't help but stare as he watched Fumika type away on her laptop. Her brown hair pulled into a messy bun, glasses perched on the bridge of her nose, and wearing nothing but an oversized sweater and fuzzy socks: that the look that Kyoya loved. Of course, he loved the way Fumika looked when she dresses up as well, but this look was his favorite. An outfit reserved only for him, indicating that she's relaxed and feeling at home.

"Why do you keep staring at me?" The sound of Fumika's voice broke Kyoya out of his thoughts, and he noticed Fumika giving him a quizzical look.

"Is there something wrong with a man appreciating his girlfriend's beauty?" Kyoya questioned. He couldn't help but smirk when Fumika rolled her eyes, red cheeks evident on her pale skin.

"Flattery will get you nowhere, Kyoya Ootori."

The man gave her an innocent smile and sat beside her on the couch. "On the contrary," he said, pulling Fumika into his lap. "As a business major, and I can confirm that flattery can get me everywhere."

"Kyoya, stop," Fumika whined, "I seriously need to get this psych paper done."

He smirked and began to trail kisses down her neck.

"I will smack you if you don't stop," Fumika threatened, lifting a hand to show she meant it.

Kyoya chuckled and reluctantly let her go, "Alright, however, don't forget that we have dinner reservations at 7."

"Yes, sir."

"Fumika, are you ready?"

"Almost, Kyoya. Could you help me zip this up?" Kyoya looked up from his notebook to Fumika is a gorgeous purple dress, the back only half-way zipped up.

"It would be my pleasure," Kyoya said, getting up from the couch. However, seeing her milky skin up close, he couldn't help but press kisses onto her back, slowly lowering the zipper.

"Kyoya, I said zip up, not down!" Fumika laughed, pulling away from the man, "We're going to be late for our dinner reservation, you know."

"They can wait," Kyoya murmured, drawing his girlfriend closer. But before he could kiss her, Fumika placed her hand over his lips.

"Alright, you horny man. I'm serious. Zip me up and let's go or you're sleeping on the couch tonight."

Kyoya grabbed the hand covering his mouth and kissed her palm. "As you wish, m'lady."

She was his girlfriend for now, but that will soon change.

"That was delicious," Fumika sighed, a hand covering her stomach, "I totally get why their food is expensive. Thank you for this, Kyoya."

"Anything for my beloved." Kyoya smiled at her and suddenly they were locked in each other's eyes.

'They really were the most amazing shade of blue,' Kyoya thought. He could stare at those pair of eyes for hours. However, that would have to wait for later.

"Fumika," he began, clearing his throat, "It has been 5 years since we've met and been together, and I-"

"Kyo-chan! Fumi-chan! Wow, what a coincidence!"

Fumika turned her attention from her boyfriend and smiled at the couple approaching them. "Honey-senpai, Reiko-san. It's so nice seeing you guys, I didn't expect to bump into you guys here. Are you guys on a date?"

Honey nodded, "Yup! This place has the best cake! Have you tried it?"

"I just did, actually. We were actually finishing up."

"Oh wow! Rei-chan and I were on our way to leave, too!"

"Ah, sorry, Kyoya, you were gonna say something, right?" Fumika said, giving the man an apologetic look.

Kyoya shook his head, plastering a smile on his face. "It's nothing that can't wait. Honey-senpai, did you drive here? Fumika and I can drop you two off."

|| Attempt #2 ||

"It's nice going on a walk once in a while," Fumika mused. She and Kyoya were currently sitting on a park bench that they sit usually sat on whenever they decided to stroll around the neighborhood. Her attention was focused on the children running around the playground, not noticing her boyfriend's loving gaze on her.

"Hey, Kyoya, what do you think about kids? It might be kind of random, but do you think I'd make a good mother?"

Kyoya internally smirked at the perfect chance that Fumika had unknowingly just created for him. "I believe you would make a wonderful mother. In fact, Fumika, I want you to be the mother of my childr-"

"Woof!" Kyoya grit his teeth when Fumika's attention was, yet again, drawn away. This time by a dog jumping onto her excitedly.

"H-hey, hey, you!" Fumika giggled, trying to push the dog away from her face, "I'm happy to see you, too, but you have dog breath!"

"Antoinette." At the calm call of her name, the dog quickly got off the girl and obediently sat on the ground, her tail still wagging.

Fumika looked up and smiled at man walking towards them. "Mori-senpai, hello!"

Kyoya focused his attention on the tall male. "Are you watching Antoinette for Haruhi and Tamaki while they are away?"

Mori nodded as he bent down to clip a leash onto the dog's collar. "Yeah."

"I want to get a pet," Fumika said thoughtfully, "Kyoya! Let's get a cat!"

Seeing the excited look on Fumika's face, Kyoya could only nod and smile. "Of course."

|| Attempt #3 ||

Third time was suppose to be the charm. So why?

"Yo, Fumika-chan, Kyoya-senpai."

This time Kyoya couldn't even get a sentence out before someone showed up.

"Kaoru!" Fumika greeted before turning her attention to the man next to the redhead. "And who is this?"

Kaoru chuckled and rubbed the back of neck nervously,"Well, you know the guy I was telling you about over the phone the other day?"

Fumika let out a gasp of excitement. "No way, Kaoru! You asked him out?!"

"Actually, I was the one to ask him out," the man corrected. He held out his hand, "Hello, my name is Ren, it's a pleasure meet you."

"Oh, please. The pleasure is all mine," Fumika said, shaking the man's hand, "I'm Fumika. This is my boyfriend, Kyoya."

Kyoya nodded and greeted the man, but internally he was cursing his terrible luck.

|| Attempt #4 ||

'This is the moment,' Kyoya thought to himself, preparing to give his beloved Fumika the speech he had been preparing for the past month now.

"Auntie Fumika!"

'No it's not. Of course it's not."

"Ageha-chan!" Fumika exclaimed as a tiny redhead ran into her arms, "What are you doing here in America?"

"My mother has a fashion show here, so Ageha is visiting temporarily." The couple looked up from the child to see a brown-dyed-haired twin walking up to them. "Yo Fumika, Kyoya-senpai."

"Hey, Hikaru!" Fumika greeted, "You know, I just saw Kaoru the other day! And he was on a date."

Hikaru nodded with a grin, "Yeah. Kaoru told me all about it and I even got to meet him. He's pretty alright."

Fumika rolled her eyes, "You're jealous that you have to share your twin now, aren't you?"

"Haha of course not."

"Auntie Fumika, come play with me," Ageha begged, tugging on the woman's arm, "Please?"

"Go ahead," Kyoya said with a strained smile when Fumika turned to ask Kyoya. 'I suppose I'll have wait even longer.'

|| Final Attempt ||

"A candle-light picnic at home? Kyoya you're spoiling me," Fumika gushed as she stared the sight before her. Kyoya had moved the coffee table that was usually in the middle of their living room and spread a picnic blanket out in its place. There were plates with food laid on the blanket along with champagne glasses and a sparkling cider bottle. The TV had been turned on with a video of a fireplace to set the mood. Some scented candles had also been lit and placed on the four corners of the blanket.

'We're at home, so no one should be able to interrupt me," Kyoya thought to himself smugly. To his dismay, however, the doorbell began to ring constantly, and Kyoya groaned, already knowing who it was.

"Oh, Tamaki and Haruhi must be back," Fumika stated. Before she could make a step towards the door, it had already slammed open.

"Kyoya! Fumika! Haruhi and I are back!" A dark aura surrounded Kyoya as he began muttering curses at his hyperactive blond friend.

"Tamaki, that's not what their emergency key is for," Haruhi scolded as she grabbed her boyfriend's shirt, stopping him from entering her sister's apartment. "Sorry, Fumika. Tamaki grabbed the key before I could stop him."

"It's quite alright," Fumika reassured her, "Although, um Kyoya and I were gonna have dinner, so..."

Haruhi looked over Fumika's shoulder to see the set up Kyoya had created in the living room and nodded understandingly. "I get it. Alright, Tamaki, let's go. We have informed them that we are back and now we are gonna leave alone."

"But Haruhi-" Tamaki began to protest, but he stopped short after seeing Haruhi glare and after looking over Fumika's shoulder, his eyes widened in realization. "Oh! Yes! Of course! Well we are back and now we must bid you two adieu! Have fun!" Tamaki let out a loud laugh as Haruhi dragged Tamaki into their own apartment.

Fumika let out a sigh of relief and closed the door. "Now that that's been handled, we can go back to that picnic you planned." However, when she turned around, Kyoya was already packing everything up. "Kyoya? What are you doing?"

That question fell onto deaf ears as Kyoya was still muttering curses under his breath. "This is the fifth damn time I've tried and every time someone just has to interrupt. That goddamn blond. I'm going to strangle him in his sleep."

A pair of hands gently grabbed Kyoya's, drawing his attention to his brunette girlfriend. "Kyoya, what's wrong?"

At that question, Kyoya pulled his hands away to run it through his hair. "I have had it," he said exasperatedly, "That goddamn Host Club keeps getting in my way. I had everything planned and every single time one of them had to come in and ruin it. Fumika-"

"Kyoya Ootori, will you marry me?" The Ootori snapped out of his anger and turned to his girlfriend in shock. There, kneeling in front him was Fumika Fujioka, a ring in her hand.

"What?"

"Kyoya, you are literally the best thing that has ever happened to me," Fumika said, giving him a teary smile, "You were the first person to notice me-to give me purpose. I don't know where I would be if you hadn't shown up in my life. In fact, I don't know if I would have existed at all. And I know it must be weird, having the girl propose and all but-"

"Fumika, stand up."

"But Kyoya-"

"Please." At the soft tone in Kyoya's voice, Fumika listened and stood up. To her surprise, Kyoya was now the one kneeling, a ring also in his hand.

"I've been trying to do this for a month," Kyoya chuckled, "But every time someone has interrupted me, and now I guess you beat me to it."

"Kyoya..."

"You've made me into a better person. You've made me realize my worth and that I don't have to live under my father's expectations. You've made me so happy, and there's no one I would rather spend the rest of my life with. Please, Fumika, stay by my side forever and marry me."

Tears were now streaming down Fumika's face and she nodded excitedly. "Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!"

"Then may I ask for that ring?"

.

.

.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Kyoya couldn't wait any longer and he pulled Fumika-his Fumika-in for a passionate kiss.

"I love you, husband," Fumika whispered when they pulled away.

Kyoya cupped her face and gently kissed her forehead. "I love you, too, wife."

That's right, she's his wife now.

His Fumika Ootori.

A/N: Wow! It has been 4 years since I first created this story! And you know, I had this chapter in my drafts for a long while and when I found it, I figured 'Why the hell not?' Sorry if it seems rushed, but it's been a while since I've written stories, so I'm kind of rusty. Anywhooo, I now have a new Kyoya Ootori fanfiction, hehehe. I hope you guys check it out! Thank you so much for all of your support!
