Five vehicles emerged on the shores of the vandal ocean. Reverb's hatch opened almost immediately, and Silver jumped out barefoot, her toes sinking in the sand. She strapped her sword to her side and took in her surroundings.

"Ugh, duuuuude," Zoom groaned, looking out at the waves. "I knew I should've brought the surfboard."

"Uh, don't you need these?" Stanford immerged holding a crumpled-up cloak and pair of boots. His face was smeared with sunscreen and he was pinching his lotioned nose while holding the articles of clothing in front of him.

"If you could just stash those somewhere that'd be great. Thanks!" Silver shouted back while running up to the water. "They'll just slow me down." The team watched, confused.

"Uh, what are you doing?" Zoom asked.

"You're not seriously planning on swimming the whole way," Spinner laughed, then paused. "are you?"

"I got a fix on the beacon" Sherman announced. "it's thirty-three degrees southwest, ten clicks out, and ninety degrees down," he looked out at Silver stepping into the water. "WAY down."

"Well then," she grinned back at them. "I'd better get swimming." Wading out into the water until it reached her waist, her ripped shirt revealed the strips of white bandages underneath as the wind whipped it from side to side. The guardian clutched the pendant hanging from her neck. Mother, she prayed silently, grant me this transformation. The little pendent hummed in her palm and she felt the water heat up around her. A familiar glow spread in a circle on the water's surface, and she dove in.

"What is she thinking?" Agura watched disbelievingly.

"Wait a second," Vert leaned forward, trying to find where she disappeared to.

"Uh, Vert?" Zoom nervously scanned the water. Thirty seconds passed with no sign of her. This was taking too long… where'd she go?

"everyone in!" their leader order.

Zoom's wheels hit the water first as the Chopper slowly submerged before extending into it's flying form.

"Silver!" the scout called out. He wasn't sure she would even be able to hear him without com-link. The team pulled into the water next to him.

"I'm here," An air-like voice floated to them. "this water tastes… kinda gross to be honest." Zoom stared in awe at the creature who spoke. He heard all his teammate gasp.
