A brainwave from Triple H was all it took to reverse WWE's free-falling ratings and stop the incessant backlash from the unsatisfied audience. The genius of it was in its simplicity: Bring back Seth Rollins, a real champion, a man who can wrestle, at Extreme Rules. Have him win the WWE title at Money in the Bank. Toss Roman Reigns out into the mid-card, and to borrow a phrase from Chris Jericho: Make sure that he never... eeeeeever... tarnishes a main event... again!
It was inevitable that some fans would rebel against the new policy, but the realisation had finally dawned on WWE's management that it was time to stop pandering to those who know nothing about wrestling and focus on giving those who do a product that they could stand to watch without wanting to gouge out their own eyes with a toothpick.
