A/N: Hey peoples! So I think this is a drabble or it may just be a weird free verse poem -I'm not really sure what to call it. A few of the lines just randomly popped into my head one night and I decided to write it down. It's kind of OOC but not too much. Thanks so much for all the positive reviews on my last story and sorry that I haven't posted anything since. That last one was posted on the last day of winter break and since then school's gotten even more hectic. I just finished my major exams last week so I should be able to post some new stories and hopefully continue Arranged (as Carter Casterwill pointed out that was a pretty sad attempt which will hopefully go better the second time around).
Also thank you to one of my best friends for helping me write this story! :)

Their Vows
Her shattering a window then effortlessly defeating several suits is what grabbed his attention.
Her beauty is what made him look twice.
But it was who she was:
The aura of complete confidence and independence,
The little cracks in her walls that showed her insecurities,
How vulnerable, peaceful, and innocent she looked when she was asleep,
Her amazing laugh that she hated,
Her unnaturally dark blue hair and the one strand that always seemed to end up back in her face,
Her deep chocolate brown eyes that seemed to bore into his soul and leave nothing untouched,
The way she would bite her lip when she was anxious.
It was who she was, who she really was, that made him never want to look away.
And he hoped that she felt the same.
Turns out he didn't have to wait long to find out.
She loved him just as much.
She loved how his Amber eyes could read her like an open book,
How he never doubted her even though she gave him every reason to.
The way he always seems to know what to do,
How she felt safe with his trench coat around her shoulders.
His heroics, she could do without; she wasn't a helpless damsel but,
He was the one who made who made her open up.
He was the one who made her trust again.
Sure the teens played a huge role in it all too,
But he was the one who stopped her from making what would have surely been the biggest mistake of her life.
The signs were all there; they shouldn't have waited so long.
All they had to do was tell each other.
But that, that was what seemed to be the hard part.
Funny how dying can put things in perspective.
She didn't want to waste any more time.
He couldn't waste any more time.
And now, about a year later, with her lying sound asleep in his arms, he wasn't planning on ever letting go of her.
The way they looked at each other, with so much love, was proof enough.
And so were the rings on their fingers.
A/N: Too cheesy or OOC? Review and let me know.
