Chapter 23 Love Potion

Mabel's POV

So it turns out that merpeople actually have ice cream parlours!

Dipper and I were currently in one of those said parlours.

"I'm sorry Mabel", he apologised.

"I just don't get what happened", I said. "Did I do something wrong?"

"Don't say that", Dipper commanded. "You did nothing wrong Mabel!"

"Then what happened", I asked. "Why did Mermando's feelings change so quickly?"

"I think I can answer that", I heard somebody say.

I turned my head to see who it was...and saw Meria.

"Meria", I said happily.

"How did it go", Dipper asked.

"I think I know what caused Mermando's feelings to change so quickly", Meria revealed.

"You do", I asked excitedly.

"Yes", Meria replied.

"What is it", Dipper asked.

"I'm not sure", Meria started. "But I think Mermando in under the effects of a love potion."

"Not again", Dipper said in dismay. "I thought only the Love God could do things like that?"

"You know of the Love God", Meria asked in shock.

"We don't just know about him", Dipper started. "We know him."

"You know the Love God", Meria asked in shock.

"Mabel stole a love potion from him to do match making", Dipper revealed.

"And the people I used it on have been in a happy relationship for over two years now", I pointed out angrily.

"This is great", Meria stated.

"It is", I asked in shock.

"It is", Meria replied. "The Love God is said to have antidotes for love potions."

"She's right", Dipper pointed out happily.

"That means all we have to do is find the Love God and get an anti love potion from him", I pointed out happily.

"Yeah", Dipper started. "There's two problems to that. We don't know where the Love God is! And even if we did, would he give us a potion after what happened last time?"

"Dang it", I yelled angrily.

"Calm down", Meria commanded. "Let's take this one step at a time. First, we need to find out where the Love God actually is."

"How do we do that", I asked.

"We should head back to the boat and take it from there."

One Hour Later

We popped our heads out from out of the water.

"There you guys are", Grunkle Stan said happily before realising something. Wait a minute. Where's the pretty boy?"
