This is a dream... right?

What... happened?

These chains... I don't remember why these are bounding me...

I don't remember if I were this weak and helpless to begin with...

I don't even remember my own name...

The only thing I remember is... I have to live... I don't even know why...

I...

I can't die here...

I DON'T WANT TO DIE!

Using my last strength to free myself, I ran away. I have to escape! I just have to!

Light...?

Did I survive...?

I open my eyes slowly. Is this a house? I'm on a bed. There's... nothing else but these unique pair of weapons.

I get off from the bed—wait! I'm sure I'm not this short.

Well, whatever.

Walking closer to see the weapons, I realize that these are gunblades! It's so cool!

Click!

I jump a bit after hearing someone opened the door.

"Good evening!"

I look behind me. A blue-haired guy is staring at me with a smile. "Don't play with those, little girl. It's dangerous".

Little... girl...?

I jump at him and grab his shoulders. Well, I have to admit this guy is tall. "I'm not a little girl!" I shouted with my little-girl-like voice.

Am I really a little girl?!

I keep glaring at him.

"Okay, okay! Calm down!"

He grabs me easily with his hands and puts me down. "I'm Ciel. Nice to meet you".

"Lu," I replied. That's weird. I only remember my name. What happened to me? Am I really this short?

I wish I was a beautiful grown-up woman.

"What happened to you? You were lying down unconscious in the middle of the town".

What?! That's embarrassing!

"It's... not crowded, right?"

"Not really—"

I grab his shirt. "What do you mean by "not really"?! Are you saying someone else saw me?!"

Ciel looks away for a moment, then he looks at me. "You were at the shopping street—"

"Nooo!" I cried.

My pride...!

Me, Lu, is just a "little" girl, lying down in the middle of the shopping street and only one guy who kindly saved me! This world is so cruel!

"Let's forget about that. You're hungry, right?"

I touch my stomach. It's like I didn't eat for 5 days.

Ciel brings me to the kitchen.

Ah! A smell of delicious cooking!

"My wallet is crying lately. I hope this will be enough for you".

He serves fried rice with sunny side up eggs. "Are you not hungry?" I asked.

"Nope. I'm full," he smiled.

It's only fried rice, but it smells so good. I take a spoon of it. "It's delicious!"

"Glad you enjoy it!"

I finished the meal in 10 minutes. It's so delicious that I can't stop eating!

"Where's your home, Lu? I can take you there".

I lower my head. "I… don't remember".

"You can stay here until your memories back".

He's so nice to a stranger.

"Ciel?"

He faces me. "Yes?"

"Thanks... for saving me..." I smiled at him.

His cheeks turn slightly red. "Don't mention it".

Someone's tummy just growls. There are only 2 people here and I'm stuffed.

I glare at him. "Ciel, you lied! You said you're full! Why did you lie?!"

His eyes widen as he forces himself to smile. "I want you to enjoy your food!"

"But you need food!"

"Sorry!"

Why did he apologize?! "Don't tell me that was the last food you have".

"Okay. I won't tell you".

What?! But! "Ciel—!"

"Lu, wait here".

Ciel goes to his room. After a while, he's back, holding his gunblades. "Stay here, okay? I'll be back!"

Before I could say anything, he already left.

I wonder what I can do now.

Feeling curious, I open the fridge.

Empty.

That was really his last meal?! Why did he give it to me?

I'm trying to open the freezer, but I can't reach it. I hate being short!

I push the dining chair to the fridge and climb it. Let's see what's inside this freezer!

Mini ice field.

I guess he never used it.

I put the chair back to its place and go to the living room. Only two chairs and a table with newspapers. Maybe I can spend my time reading this. I hope I can find any information about myself!

Nope. No clue.

"I'm back!"

I run toward him. "Where were you?! It's already night!"

He simply smiles, but doesn't answer my question. "You must be bored here. Are you hungry?"

I narrow my eyes at him. "You haven't eaten anything. Don't pretend like you have!"

He sighs. "Come with me then".

Hm?

I decided to follow him to this heavenly place, even though we are the only customers and the workers seem scared for some reason.

"Strawberry cake!" I shouted happily. It's so delicious!

Ciel smiles at me. "You really like cakes".

"Eat more, Ciel. You only ate a little!"

"Actually, you're eating too many cakes!"

Something has been bothering me. "Ciel, why did you save me?"

He looks away. Looks like the question is harder than I thought.

"Do I need a reason to save you?"

"Not really. You're too nice".

Ciel chuckles. "I'm not like you think, Lu".

Why did he say that?

"By the way, what's your job, Ciel? How can you get so much money?"

He stays silent.

On our way home, the street is deserted. We were the only customers at that cake shop and now this! "Is it always this empty?" I asked.

Ciel shakes his head.

Why is it so empty now?

We pass the clothes shop. I stop for a while to see my reflection on the window. It's not very clear, but I can see little horns on my head and blue tail from my back. I also have ears like an elf.

Oh, and also, I'm so short! Why?!
"That's the adult's clothes shop, Lu—"

"Ciel, you do realize I'm a demon, right?"

Ciel's eyes widen. He knows.

"People are scared of me, right?!"

He nods slowly.

This feel… is kinda familiar—the feel when you're left alone.

"Let's go home, Lu".

No. I can't go to his house. What would people say about him if he keeps a demon in his house?

He's a nice guy. A demon shouldn't interfere with his life.

"I... think I'll be fine. Thanks for your care, Ciel".

He sighs and grabs my hand.

"Where are you taking me?!"

"To my house, of course. I can't leave a little girl alone".

"I'm not a little girl!"

We're back to his house. For some reason this really feels like home.

"I leave the cakes on the fridge, okay, Lu? I'll be working tomorrow".

"What's your job?"

"Assassin".

"That's cool!"

I'm protected by assassin this whole time?! How nice! "Why did you choose to become an assassin?"

"My parents are killed by bandits. I was living in the streets and I'll do anything to survive. I didn't choose to become an assassin. I just have to".

Such a hard life. "Sorry".

"Don't apologize. I'm happy I survived!"

It's been a week since I live here. I still don't have other memories about myself.

As always, the street is deserted. "Where are we going, Ciel?"

"Supermarket. I promise to bake—"

Suddenly he stops walking. He takes out his gunblades and narrows his eyes, watching this area.

I tilt my head. "What's wrong?"

"Stay behind me".

Slash!

A demon is standing in front of us. "Hand her over and I'll let you go, human".

Ciel doesn't answer. He grips his weapons.

"Ciel…"

Is there a way I can do to help him? I can't just stand here!

Unfortunately, more of them are coming.

Ow… my head… It hurts…

My memories are coming back to me. I almost became the overlord in my world, but they…

They betrayed me.

They sealed my power and bounded me with chains. I did nothing but watched everything taken away from me. I used my remaining power to escape here.

I see what in front of me. These demons… are high-rank demons.

Ciel is killed—right in front of me.

"I'm… so… r… ry…"

He… protected me? Why? We just met a week ago. Why did he care so much about me?

"You're coming with us, Lu".

No! I can't let him die!

"Ciel, no!"

We're in a place where everything is pitch black. Ciel slowly opens his eyes.

"W-Where am I?"

I smile at him. "Ciel, I remember everything".

He smiles back. "That's good! I wish I was stronger, so I could protect you".

I lend my hand. "It's my turn to repay you. Make a contract with me and be my servant. I, Luciella R. Sourcream, can save you".

"Servant, huh? Sounds worse than assassin!"

He takes my hand.

We're back to the world. Ciel stands up and takes his gunblades. His wounds are healed.

"I know how to fight!" I smirked as I summon my gauntlets. "Let's beat them!"

Ciel becomes more powerful after he made a contract with me. I can see he kills them easily.

"You'll be the best servant ever!" I shouted at him cheerfully.

Ciel chuckles. "I'll take that as a compliment!"

After all that happened, we're still walking to the supermarket. "Hey, Ciel, are demons always come here?"

He nods slightly. "Why do you ask?"

"You see, I'm trying to regain my power and status at the Demon Realm. If we track the demons, we might be able to find clue. Will you help me?"

"Of course I will. You saved me".

"That's not a good reason! We're even!"

"I won't leave a little girl alone".

"I'm not a little girl!"

We are tracking the demons for 2 years now. Ciel is still doing his job as an assassin because he wants to bake at least one cake for me every day.

I'm not fat, of course! I know how to control my weight!

He said he's not like what I think, but I'm still thinking that he's a really nice guy. I lost everything, but if he's with me, I think I'll be fine. People are scared of me, but I have Ciel. He's my everything!

We're in Elder, surrounded by assassins from the Demon Realm. I can feel a familiar presence. This is too familiar.

My body reacts to the presence.

"Lu!"

Stab!

The demon's spear stabs my body.

Body… why…

Just kidding. I can feel a huge power inside me!

My body twitches.

I unleash my new power in explosion.

I'm not exploding! Don't worry!

"This power..." I grinned, "I'll kill you all!"

I use the hidden power inside me.

Yes! A beautiful grown-up woman body! Just like I want!

I create four magic circles around me and explode them.

"Look carefully. This is power held only by true demonic royalty!"

Ha! Weaklings.

Sadly, I have to go back to my "little girl" form. I don't have a good feeling about it.

Ciel is holding his chest and breathing heavily. "Ciel! What's wrong?!"

After a moment, he's back to normal. "Sorry to made you worry".

What do you mean by "made"?! I'm still worried! "What happened to you?"

He smiles like nothing happened. "That's a huge power you got there. I'll get used to it!"

My new power... it affects him...

I shake my head. "I'll find out how to control my power!"

"That's your power. Of course you can control it".

"But—!"

"Let's keep going, shall we?"

Ciel, you're wrong.

I... I can't really control it.

Ciel was fine for the first few days. After that, he's starting to fall into darkness.

I can't really feel my new power. Did most of it go to Ciel?

His hair slowly turns white. I touch something he shouldn't have. "Ciel, you have a horn now. It's still small, though".

"Does that mean I would have a pair of horns like you? Sounds cool".

He hardly smiles now. I miss it.

"Is chocolate cake fine?"

"Yes, it's fine".

If I hadn't gotten this power, he wouldn't have changed, right?

Why can't I control it?! I hate myself! I'm so strong in battle, but I feel so weak inside.

A year after my new power, I... I hate myself even more. Ciel is becoming one with us, demons. I never see his smile again.

"Is something the matter, Lu?"

Please don't ask such question with your monotone voice...

I shake my head slightly. Ever since that day, he's starting to lose his human feelings. That Ciel I know is now gone.

What have I done to him? He was a kind-hearted human, but because of my weakness, I turn him into this. I have to admit that he's a strong servant, but...

...you're not him.

Even though he's here, it feels like he's so distant.

That feel—the feel you're left alone... I can feel it again.

Then, I realize...

I lose everything once again.

That moment when almost everyone is hype for Lu/Ciel 3rd path and here I am, sitting on the corner, trying not to cry (?)

It's hard to make the characters with their actual personality. I tried *cries*
