Raynare wasn't sure she knew what anything was anymore. Up was a concept, down is a dream, inside out became the rule and she now knew what all flavors of the rainbow tasted like. It was like the sky opened up and graced her with such useless knowledge, in a bid to make her forget.

She was certainly uncertain it was working but her feet seemed to be happily clopping along the void in front of her eyes, while her mouth continued munching a literal rainbow somewhere on the other side.

'The other side of what' a soft voice echoed around her. Confusion highly distinguishable in its timbre. She was sure it sounded vaguely familiar but couldn't quite place the sound as it disappeared in a muted buzz. Just like it did the last several times.

'Trippy doesn't even describe this place.' that same voice echoed again. She continued not paying her surroundings any mind as her brain continued to fail in its comprehension to the discombobulation of her body's presence being everywhere but where it should be.

Somewhere deep inside her, she felt like none of this should be normal. Then she realized she couldn't remember what normal was. While synapses fired off all around her and brain cells attempted to make sense of everything, she never noticed the hand coming for her.

With a strangled gasp, coherence rushed through her addled mind. Raynare's violet eyes dilating to pinpoints as reason and reality slowly slunk back into her trembling form. Her body hung in the air, a twitching mass of confused nerves, dancing in the pale grasp of a woman she hadn't even realized was there while her body rebooted.

"Is he starting a collection of women now?" Pausing to further examine the convulsing girl, she just sighed. "For your sake, Naruto better have a good reason for you being here." The tone of the woman was cold, like that of a crossed lover. If Raynare had been of a better mind, sirens would have been blaring from the danger of that statement. Luckily, she didn't need to worry about that as she was tossed to the side.

Turning around to glare at the entrance of the home expectantly, her fists on her hips. The woman opened her mouth, irritation clear in her voice.

"Well, what do you have to say for yourself?"

She waited for but a moment before the door creaked open. A blond head peeking in like a scolded child. One single orange furred ear twitched in nervousness as red eyes darted back and forth. Putting up a quick smile Naruto was about say something before the seething beauty pointed a dainty finger to the shivering girl on the floor.

"Ahh…" He mumbled in understanding. "She was gonna kill the boy, and then I screwed up again. So I uhh… decided not to kill her."

Tilting her head in a manner as if asking him to continue, the woman slowly crossed her arms. Causing the almost ethereal gown she wore to further accentuate her natural beauty.

"Oh, Come on Tsukiko, you know it's not like that. She wasn't even alive for that mess."

Grey eyes framed in long tresses of black blinked back lifelessly, as if she was just told the sky was blue.

"Give me one good reason not to terminate the girl?"

"She got me to start working on Issei, that's got to count for something. Besides I thought you sent her as a present. Ya know, like a 'Hey! Remember, you have a job to do and I love you' kinda thing.

Tsukiko's pale face twitched ever so slightly, though if the way his smile seemed to turn just a little more relaxed, she knew he saw it.

"What do you want me to say Naruto, we can't shirk our duties. Even if you're the one who has been sleeping for the last five millennia." She stated blandly with a hint of malice, hand dropping to her side.

Grunting in acknowledgment of what was said Naruto turned to observe the gasping meat sack in his foyer. "Anyway, doesn't it look like she's suffering enough? What did you do to her anyway?"

"I pulled her out of another of your convoluted seals, the one on the stairs."

"Oh… Forgot about that."

"Yes, dealing with your seal work can be a hell of its own." Pausing to scrutinize the sad looking girl, the woman huffed in disinterest. "Fine, I'll leave the raven alone. That still leaves this one." It was at that moment a hole opened up in the ceiling dropping a screaming blond into the room. Right above Raynare.

"Kya!"

"Ooof"

After a few moments the blueberry managed to free herself from her unwilling housemate and hopped to her feet in excitement.

"I'm out of the room! Yes! Now too…" Her Excitement was short lived as her captor was just a few feet from her. A smile so big on his face, she could imagine the party in his head. What really stuck out was the lack of worry on his face that she would escape.

"Hey blueberry, I was wondering when you were going to come down! With you out and about we have enough people for game night!" Naruto cheered when he saw the blue clad witch join them. Looking back to the seemingly patient woman Naruto's grin grew bigger.

"She's my hostage, Tsuki-chan. Some guys named Arty and Barry kept following me around. I told them to stop, but they wouldn't listen. So, I broke something that looked super important, then took her with me for insurance. Haven't bothered me since." Naruto looked really proud of himself when he finished that statement.

"You're a bastard Naruto-sama." The girl would have continued if not for the extra appendages she'd never seen on him. "Wait, you're a yokai?"

"Eh, I came to terms with that a long time ago." Pointing at the girl, he leaned in to give her a clearer look at his serious face. "Get this straight though, the yokai wish they were what I was." Pausing for a moment he looked to cold pillar in the room. "Have we figured out what I am yet?"

"A stroke of bad luck?"

"Hey! You love this stroke of bad luck."

"Yeah… Just keep talking like I'm not here. I'll be fine, just gonna rest, right here, on the ground." Raynare sobbed in, her voice weak and jittery.

Tsukiko leveled a dead stare at her husband.

"Ignoring the distractions. What, did you do to cause them to follow you?"

"I rescued a cat." The matter of fact way he said it made Tsukiko just shake her head in frustration.

"You're leaving something out again."

"Okay, so maybe the cat didn't really know I was rescuing it."

"Matabi's progeny?" Naruto didn't respond to the question preferring to move over to the stairs. With a single touch of the wall, it lit up in blue glowing symbols as he began examining his work. "Of course, I forget how difficult you can be when it comes to them."

It was at about this point the door flung open with a boy tumbling along the ground till he came to rest at Tsukiko's feet. Following that was what sounded like childish tittering, before the door slammed shut on its own.

Raising a single brow at the boy, she lightly kicked him. It only managed to elicit a grunt, as he rolled onto his back.

"So, is this Issei?"

"You should know. You picked him." Naruto wasn't given any time to think when he felt her emotions shift in the negative. The room grew darker as Le Fay got a good look at the frown that appeared as quick as it left. "Aww shi-" was his only response before the space around himself tore itself open.

With nary a flick of her wrist Naruto disappeared.

Ignoring the shocked cries from the extras, Tsukiko crouched down so she could get a better grasp of the oblivious boy whose eyes seemed to be glued to her chest. Placing one dainty hand upon his face jolted Issei out of whatever trance he was in.

"Now, hello Issei. It's a pleasure to finally meet you."

"Uh, hi?" he asked, eyes flickering from the empty space to the small but firm breasts that seemed even more enticing as the woman hovered over him. "Who are you?"

With a soft smile lightening her face Issei face flushed a bit. Her soft beauty, filling a heart shaped face, more enticing by the strange glow that drew him in.

"I'm Tsukiko the primordial Death, you however will address me as the Mistress of your Fate."

"Tsuki-GHE!" Any further slip up was stopped as the woman's smile disappeared leaving suddenly blank grey eyes boring into him. Issei might have even commented on how creepy her face was without a single emotion there if not for the fact he felt like his very life was being dragged out of his body.

"Let me make this perfectly clear. I don't care for your proclivities or words child." Moving her hands to grasp his jaw she dragged the terrified teen closer. "But when I tell you to do something, you listen the first time. If not…" A smile lit her face, one even Issei could tell was hollow and practiced. Something about it made him squirm in panic as the woman pushed him away.

While this by play was happening, the blonde witch was crying while a devastated look crowned her face.

"Y-you just banished Naruto-sama."

"And?" The backhanded way she it was said caused the blonde to pout cutely at her dismissal.

"What about the seals he placed? Who's going to remove those?"

Pausing ever so briefly the ghastly woman turned ever so slightly so one glowing eye could be seen, while a literal wave of doom rose up around her. Causing the blonde to step back in fear.

"Look child, just because I've decided I won't be obliterating you and your eternal soul for now. Does not mean I care about your little pity party. There is plenty of wine in the kitchen, I'm sure those will pander to your plight better than I. Take the bird with you as well, her presence tires me. "

Le Fay responded in kind by grabbing the groaning angel's closest leg and escaping rather eagerly from that scary woman's sight.

Not missing a beat Tsukiko turned back to Issei

"Now that the rabble is gone, you and I have much to discuss boy."

"I wonder if I look as bad as I feel?" Issei Hyoudou had to ask himself as he trudged through Kouh Town to his next destination.

He honestly felt horrible, that touch from 'The Mistress of my Fate' was really draining. Add that onto the fear, the aches and pains, and how truly drained he felt. Well it was obvious why he was glaring at the little piece of paper in his hands. Continuing to mumble to himself he glared at is left arm before shifting his focus on the paper once again.

"Stupid Boosted Gear, so useless. 'Oh, I double your strength every ten seconds, you just got to get stronger and train to make it work for you.'" He mocked the item sitting in his arm. It may be damn prideful, but how is that going to help him against creatures that adapt to what you do.

Growling to himself he kept going in the dead of night hoping beyond hope the rest of it will be simple.

Of course, the first name on the tiny list he was given to try and put together part of a team, by the end of the night mind you, almost made him want to froth at the mouth.

Souna Shitori, really Sona Sitri, was the first name on the list. She was also highlighted as the most useful one. Issei was not happy about finding out she was a devil one bit. She was also the only one he was given headway to find in the middle of the night. Ready to continue and get this night over with, something happened.

Somewhere in his lizard brain, neurons fired at an exponential rate telling his body to move because danger.

After getting the absolute snot kicked out of himself for the last several days, it somehow worked, and he was able to scramble shamefully out of the way.

It was at that point that a giant hole opened right where he had been a moment ago. Then before he could even question what was happening, he heard it.

"AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUGHHHH!"

It was a deep, horrifyingly painful wail that just kept getting louder before a giant black body shot through the opening. Issei only caught a small glimpse of the black mass, with four arms, and a lot of red coming out of everywhere, before it hit the concrete.

Now Issei had never seen something move at the velocity that this creature did, it was a miracle he even caught a glimpse of what he did. However, watching the ground ripple like water upon impact was all the warning he was going to get before chaos happened.

"Aww shi- AUUUUUGHHH!" He yelled as the very ground opened and threw him a good distance away. When he finally stopped tumbling, though the world was swimming, he thought it was over.

"Boomshot Bitch!" A very familiar voice cackled gleefully, and quite clearly. Issei's didn't really have the time to register much more than that when his world went pair shaped, and he was launched in the direction of his destination with a resounding boom.

"I HATE YOU!" He yelled as he went soaring away.

Dropping into the newly formed crater to look at his handywork Naruto smiled in glee.

"Geeze, you guys made Edwin Black sound like some big deal. He went out like a bitch." Cackling a little bit as he watched the very disfigured and obvious corpse disintegrate in front of him.

"Still, did I prove you right Chibi-Yuki?"

He only had to wait a moment before a girl who looked no older than eight fell through the portal landing flat on her ass, with a loud slap.

"Ooof, oowwwww…" She moaned at her less than graceful entry.

It took her a few seconds to get her bearing.

"Why didn't you catch me?" she all but demanded.

"Because you keep claiming you're a ninja, obviously you still suck at it."

"It's your fault I look like this, how can I get used to this body when it keeps changing?"

"How do you sleep at night when you keep failing."

"fuck you!"

"Grow a bit more and I'll consider it."

The tiny tanned girl with much too long brown hair, twin ponytails and red eyes, almost turned purple in her rage.

"Relax Chibi-Yuki, I'll try to get you fixed in no time."

"You better." She ground out before finally standing up from her spot in the crater.

The sounds of sirens started blaring at that moment, and Naruto only looked for a second before a wide grin fit his face.

Within the next second, he was next to 'Chibi-Yuki' tossing her over his shoulder.

"Hey, what are you doing?" She yelped squirming in his grasp.

"Well time to go." He cackled before leaping away in to the night.

In all her years never had Rias felt more ashamed and insulted than she did now. Not even the plethora of times she had to entertain her fiancé compared to what she beheld in front of her.

A limp manakin dressed to impress with a striking resemblance to her own father mockingly lay in the corner of the office. Yet in all the time it had been here, she had never noticed something so simply stupid. Just the thought that someone tricked her so horribly, left a bad taste in her mouth.

Her best friend sat behind the once occupied desk, her face palmed in both hands, muffling the sounds of her frustration. None of this was making any sense. How long had the head of the Gremory house been replaced was the foremost question in her mind and Sona Sitri did not want to answer that question.

"How long do you think father's been missing?" Of course, Sona didn't have that luxury. Lifting up her head slowly, violet eyes stared into the dour face of her longtime rival. For a moment she paused, considering such a face did not belong on the face of Rias Gremory. Blinking away her frustration she answered with a huff.

"Probably right before that troublemaker registered, it makes the most sense with what we know." Setting her chin on the table Sona stretched her arms out in front of her and began puffing her cheeks glumly.

"New plan?"

"What do you suggest we do?

"I already tried contacting my brother again." Holding up a phone to emphasize her point caused Sona's frown to deepen. "I've got nothing since we were cut off. You were right, we're way out of our depth."

"And the barrier?"

"If our family can't figure it out, I don't see much we can do."

"You don't even know the half of it."

If both girls were shocked by the sudden appearance of the boy who had been avoiding Rias, neither girl showed it as they slowly turned to look in his direction at the only entrance.

The boy looked ragged, almost like he hadn't slept in weeks, and his gait was that of a man with no hope.

Sona scoffed openly, staring at the boy in contempt, not even taking the moment to realize there was something wrong with the situation.

"What would you know about our troubles?"

Tired brown eyes barely spared the girl a glance as he tumbled into one if the conveniently comfortable chairs near him.

"Quite a bit more than you. But wait I'm only human, I can't possibly understand. Right, arm thing?"

In the middle of his speech the boy brought up his left arm to glare at it. When a red gauntlet flashed into existence the girls were visibly shocked.

"It's DDraig boy-"

"I don't care what your name is! Outside of advice, you're useless!"

"Hey!"

While the boy and arm bickered, Rias reached out towards her equally shocked friend.

"Sona, please tell me that he isn't calling a longinus useless."

Sona just closed her eyes and tried to block out the new annoyance.

"-ood are you when you can only give me strength?"

"I'll have you know my power is coveted."

"Useless power is st-"

It wasn't working and after everything her patience was at its end. Her hands gripping the desk in front of her in a way to relieve some tension as the creaking and cracking of wood rang out.

"Sona?" Rias queried, pushing herself away from the girl she had always known to be calm and collected.

Just like that as those words left the redheads lips, a loud crack echoed in the school silencing everything.

"SHUT UP!" The bluenette roared, a wave of malignant magic leaving her body, to incidentally flood the room.

"Ack!" Issei yelled as he was swept up and smashed into the back wall.

Storming over to the boy using her magic to part the water, the short noble grabbed the sopping boy and dragged him, so he was face to face.

"I don't care about your inane rabble, you said you know something! So, speak!"

"Wha-?" A tiny fist slammed through the wall next to Issei's head a moment later. Pausing all thought Issei really took a look at the girl. Then in a moment of clarity Issei noticed the fierce look in those eyes, the way her hair hung just right in her face, and the way she panted in rage from those soft pink lips.

"Wow, you really do look sexy when you're angry?"

She blinked, that was all the time he was given before his world lit up in pain.

"Oh, my…" Rias gasped, shocked that her friend would take it this far. She also filed the thought away to keep the enraged Sitri heir from Akeno. She was a handful as it was with her tendencies.

A few moments later and the boy was on the ground groaning, with the petit ogre standing over him.

A weak chuckle left his lips shortly after that.

"Hehe, okay I deserved that."

Shuffling away from the boy, the girl sat in the nearest chair, too tired to care for the dampness.

"Just tell us why you came here."

"So… The worlds going to end, and I've been chosen to save it."

"That sounds like rubbish."

"I don't care if you believe me, I just need you to work with me." Groaning a bit as he nursed his bruises, Issei turned his head to the beautiful redhead. "Well more specifically Shitori-Taichou, I was told I couldn't work with you until further notice."

Ignoring the red-head's Yell of Consternation, Issei focused on the Bluenette.

"Work with you? Now why would I need to work with a barely trained human?"

Setting his head back on the floor, Issei moaned.

"Because if you don't accept working with me now, then I can't even bother with you in the future. You were given a chance, if I were you, I'd take it."

So I'm posting this cause I'm pretty sure I'm never getting back to this. Was just going to have everything end abruptly but I have no real drive to actually do that. To those where were looking forward to this I am terribly sorry. If I pick it up again (Possible), I'll remove this. Otherwise, have a wonderful time.

Ghostie out!
