Hey guys! This is an outline of an extra I planned on writing after Indicium ended but I never got around to flesh it out. Forgot it and soon found it hence, why it's up.

...First Anniversary...

12:00 am

Chiharu calls Tooru in a panic, saying she hasn't prepared anything for their anniversary.

Tooru calms her down, saying they'll dine out

Chiharu says it's the usual routine, them going out somewhere having fun

Tooru: (thinks) You're right! (Laughs)

Chiharu didn't understand the value of anniversary

Chiharu: I mean, in an anniversary you're supposed to do something fun or eat out with the one you love but aren't we doing it every day? Being together for years and only celebrating it on a designated day seems so pointless. Wouldn't you value a year together when you know you've spent every day showing how? It's not only a day that you'd show your significant other you love him, but it's also 365 days!

Tooru: (smiles) This is the best anniversary then because I had 365 days worth of celebrating.

Chiharu: I really don't feel making bento for you today is special or going to the amusement park or dining out

Tooru: (chuckles) I love you, today, tomorrow, and the next 364 days, oh wait

Chiharu: Hmm?

Tooru: I was wrong in counting

Chiharu: eh?

Tooru: I'll love you for the next 36,500 days!

Chiharu: That's a long time, why don't you just marry me then?

Tooru: Sure, the ring's ready to be worn anytime you want

Chiharu: (laughs)

Tooru: (immediate response) I wasn't joking

Chiharu: (immediate response) So was I

Tooru:...

Chiharu:...

Tooru: Chi-chan, please, handle my heart with care

Chiharu: I am handling it with so much care, in fact, I'm so fond of it that I'm keeping it with me permanently

Tooru: Chiharu-

Chiharu: Just so you know, you're the one who's going to face otou-san

Tooru: Please stop joking (cries)

Chiharu: (softly) I knew I was keeping you when I said I love you

Tooru: (starts crying)

Chiharu: Why is our situation always reversed? I should be the one crying

Tooru: (heavy breathing) I'm...not. I'm just, I have plans! And you ruined it!

Chiharu: I love you too (pauses) so, is today's anniversary special now?

Tooru: I haven't put the ring yet

Chiharu: You can put it now

Tooru: Now? (Realizes something and runs to the window, starts cursing) It's cold at night!

Chiharu: (smiles) That's why I'm wearing three layers of wool

Tooru: (rushes out, still clutching his phone) What is wrong with you?

Chiharu: Well, I want the anniversary to be special

Tooru: (freezes at the door, hand on the knob) You don't have to mention marriage for it to be special

Chiharu: Anniversaries got me thinking. It's useless to celebrate one day because of a year of being together. As long as we're happy together every day, that's all that matters then I realized, I don't mind spending the days after, 365 days or more, with you. Call it marriage or whatever label society brands it, I couldn't care less.

Tooru opens the door, his eyes connecting with Chiharu as she talks on her phone

Chiharu: As long as you are mine to cherish

Tooru: Aren't you afraid of falling out of love?

Chiharu: You're worth the fight to keep it

Tooru: Ah.. (clutches his balled hand to his chest) I'm happy, so happy

Chiharu: (lips twitch) But is the ring going to fit?

Tooru: (smiles) Of course. I'm holding your hands every day.

Tooru and Chiharu kiss but he quickly turned away..and sneezed

Fear not, I won't be doing any major edits, just some grammar, spellings, technical stuffs, and etc. I won't be taking this down too as it shows my writing history and as long as lives on, so too Indicium.
