I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all my readers - those who liked and enjoyed the story and those who did not for a variety of valid reasons.

I will admit to being of 2 minds about this effort. One one hand I suspect that it is either too long or too short. It certainly turnmed out about twice the length that i had initially expected and, in retrospect, perhaps i should have developed a more in-depth story line or an even simpler and shorter one. It was a learning experience to be sure.

And just for the record, the idea of Bingley being involved in the slave trade never crossed my mind when i was writing the story and i was honestly surprised that it would be mentioned; however, if the story had been longer it would have been a useful plot ddevice in one form or another.
