This is just a plot bunny, that came out during easter.
I don't own Naruto, Hinata does.
The Nanadaime Hokage and his wife trekked through the village as per usual. They do it almost every evening. The stars were out, the wind was calm and the village was peaceful. Nothing could ruin this majestic moment.
A rumbling sound echoed from the belly of the blonde. A pair of lavender orbs looked upon the orange-clad Hokage. "So ramen?" Naruto asked. "Wait and see" was the only reply he got from his wife. Hinata Hyuuga grab his hand and raced towards an unfamiliar territory.
Within a lilac flash, a steel blue banner appeared. Engraved on it was the word 'Ramechi' in a lovely opal. A man in a tuxedo appeared in front of a wood pedestal. "Have you made a reservation, ma'am?" He inquired. "Yes, I have made the reservation under the name of Zura Jodan & Nama Dateta." She replied. "Just a moment, please… Ah, here you are, a secluded table for two. This way please." The young waiter led the couple to a table made of ebony from Tsuchi no Kuni. The chairs were made of the same material but the seats being made from soft cashmere exported from Kaminari no kuni. "Wow!" Naruto uttered. "Here is your menus." The waiter presented to Hinata. After a quick glance at the menu, Hinata came to conclusion, reading the name badge. "Can we get this dish please, Iyashi-san?" Hinata asked. "Of course ma'am, will that be all?" To which the only reply was a nod.
"Hinata-chan what did you order?" Naruto asked. Hinata laughed with a twinkle in her eye. "Now that would be telling."
Naruto muttered under his breath, something about the devil tainting his queen with hubris, taking away his ramen and all. Only if he knew…
"Here is your order, two Ramechi Special." a cheerful voice told them. Two bowls of steaming hot noodles swam in a spicy orange broth. Two slices of crispy chicken katsu, breaded prawns and fried spicy tofu covered the sides. A bunch of spinach, carrots, and onion was in the other side. Naruto looked at the bowl with salivating vigour. Even after many years Naruto's addiction for the soupy noodles never left him. With a tear in his eye, Naruto said "Hinata-chan did I ever tell you how much I love you? You know me to well." "You tell me that every time we go out for ramen and every time you see me." She said with a satisfied smile.
By the time they were finished, it was night so they headed home. "Naruto, I have to tell you something..." Hinata told him. "What is it, hime?" Naruto asked. "You know what ate wasn't ramen." Naruto's eyes popped out "WHAT, what was it then?" "It was spaghetti." Thud. Naruto fainted. Hinata laughed. the prank was super effective.
