Walking Dead Wizard

Chapter 100

It had been a very sombre and quiet few days, the loss weighed heavily upon them all. Unfortunately, they wished they could say that their recent loss was the only thing on their minds. Regretfully, it wasn't, no, the phoenix tears and whether they would work or not had taken up primarily residence in their thoughts. Did they at long last have a cure? Was Axel going to survive?

Oscar had barely left his best friends' side, the only time he did was when he was ordered to leave the doctor surgery where Severus, Poppy, Hershel, Lily and Hermione spent all their time. They hadn't had an opportunity to test the potion before. Nobody had been bitten but not yet died for them to test it.

This had been their opportunity, and they grasped a hold of it with both hands.

"Hey, guys," Harry said, as he entered the doctor's surgery, Hermione was sitting with Axel, playing a game of chess with him. Hermione wasn't good at chess, but she could teach someone the rudimentary of the game. Judging by the pained look on Severus' face the way he was biting his tongue, he definitely had something he wanted to say.

Self-preservation stopped that in its tracks.

"How are you feeling?" Harry asked, as he was followed by his perpetual shadow.

"I feel fine," Axel said, his tone slightly exasperated, clearing getting annoyed at being asked how he was feeling. Even though he understood that they were making sure he was fine, and want to know how he was feeling. "I actually slept last night." The past two days…had been hell. He'd been too terrified to go to sleep in case he never woke back up again. Waiting with a pounding heart for a fever to strike him and game over. The only time he'd actually been truly distracted was Big Tiny and Patrick's funeral.

Which had been quick, despite Hershel wishing to use the church, to make it a funeral service, Harry denied him. He didn't want them all singing hymns as if nothing had happened. The world had changed, the way they did things had changed. To try and go back to what they knew…would be detrimental to them all. After a few moments of silence, Axel and Oscar had written the names on the stone wall, so that they would never be forgotten. Never forgotten was actually written on the wall up top. They'd put their names next to Lily and Tara's father and Meghan's grandfather who had died most recently. Even those whom they lost at the quarry and prison had been put up there.

"I know, I can't stand being cooped up in a hospital setting either," Harry said with commiserations, patting the guy on the shoulder.

Severus snorted, "That…is putting it lightly." He informed them wryly, "He normally left the very same day he got there…or woke up."

Axel grinned, he had so much blackmail material on Harry from both Severus and Hermione. Well, not really blackmail, he'd never actually do that. He would however, definitely embarrass him a little if the situation called for it.

"Is it his last day here?" Harry asked, seeking professionals' opinions, sure, it had been three days, and that's all he'd said. It wasn't up to him though, not really, so he stood and waited patiently for their input.

"It's my opinion that yes, he's free to leave," Severus replied, "It's been going on four days since he was bitten. There's been absolutely no sign of a fever, not even a raised temperature. No changes to his internal organs or the area where he was bitten."

"The fever takes perhaps twenty-four hours to develop, I agree, he's not going to get one now." Poppy nodded, she was basing this on all of Harry's information, as well as information from the beginning from St. Mungo's. "Even wizards and witches reported fevers within the first twenty-four hours of the bite."

"As incredulous as this is, it seems we have a cure after all," Lily agreed, it felt amazing slipping back into her profession, she'd missed it a great deal.

"We should have guessed, Edwin did say that Harry's blood had a cure, it's a shame we can't just give everyone it in hopes of it actually being a cure…" Hermione said, her brow furrowed, "I mean it might not work if we do it any other way."

"I had pondered on it being a bit of both the Basilisk Venom and the phoenix tears," Severus admitted, "The most poisonous substance known to man and it's only antidote," there was no other known way to survive a basilisk bite. Harry had been extremely lucky to say the least.

"That was my thoughts too," Harry admitted, "It's difficult to believe an antidote to this has been staring us in the face this entire time." Not that he had any way to test it, not since he thought about it anyway. Not until now at any rate.

The sound of pinging interrupted their conversation, Harry almost glanced at the direction of where his own mirror was hanging in his living room. Before realizing he wasn't even in his house.

"How many mirrors do you have?" Harry gaped as she began to flick through them, looking for the one predominantly blue.

"Seven," Severus answered for her, his tone wry, "All of them before the cabinets were working fully and functionally."

Harry arched a brow, and before he could ask, Severus answered, "Charlie, Bill and Fleur, you, one was sent to each of the schools in the area. Various people answer, it wasn't given to a specific person."

"Only four of the schools?" Harry asked, heart sinking.

Severus nodded grimly, "Either the owl was shot down before it could reach its destination…or there was no one nowhere for miles to claim it. None of them came back regardless."

"Damn," Harry sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, it was disheartening to hear that some of the school's wards had folded against the walkers. You'd think they would have the wards perfected when it came to the next generation of students.

"Indeed," Severus murmured tiredly, completely agreeing, what a world they now lived in. He had sacrificed the majority of his life – whether or not he was actively spying he had a role to play and he'd played it well – to end the war with Voldemort. The last thing he'd ever expected was for a different kind of war…to begin. Although, many wouldn't consider it a war, Severus most certainly did.

"Charlie! Is everything okay?" Hermione called out, slightly flustered having almost dropped the mirror.

"The wards are weakening; the walkers are going to get in soon." Charlie said, his entire face grim and tired. "There are hundreds upon hundreds of them, we aren't going to stand a chance."

"Charlie? Good to see you," Harry said swiftly walking towards Hermione, "Listen…I have somewhere you can take them…how many are there?"

"It's not just dragons we have here…there's unicorns, merfolk, it's basically a supernatural sanctuary at this point for anything and everyone we could save." Charlie explained to Harry.

"Are Dragons the only big thing?" Harry queried; brow furrowed.

"Um, the biggest yes, but there are hippogriffs and Pegasus and well…things like that." Charlie explained, confused by Harry's questioning. Wondering what on earth was going on.

"How many people?" Harry pondered.

"Um, sixty-nine, seven of them are children under four," Charlie said blankly.

Harry nodded slowly, very impressed with that number, but they must have been smart to head straight for a dragon sanctuary that's capable of snorting fire and getting rid of walkers, "I see, you got trunks?"

"Sure, a few," Charlie replied.

"Then get the animals put in there, it would be a great help if you have a multicompartmental trunk. Anything that cannot fly a long distance, give them all the food you can possible give them so that they're at full capacity and let them fly." Harry said, "Potter Abbey will be waiting for you." He'd been to see it, and it was beautiful, the wards stretched on for miles and miles.

"That's good and all but the animals aren't capable of taking orders…" Charlie said, "The dragons…I won't abandon them." He couldn't, maybe he could get the others to leave, to take their families and go to Potter abbey. "Plus, come on…we're in Romania…a flight to the USA will take days even with magical animals following the way!" they just wouldn't be able to do it, and there was no guaranteed of somewhere to stop for the day.

"Expand the cupboards? Put one in the Abbey?" Daryl spoke quietly into Harry's ear.

Harry blinked, "Bloody brilliant!" he said, turning around and planting a kiss on Daryl's lips. "You may be the smartest of us all!"

Daryl flushed bright red, unable to meet anyone's eyes.

"Alright, Hermione does Charlie have a cupboard?" Harry asked, speaking a little louder so Charlie knew what was going on.

"Yeah, but we can't put dragons in Hogwarts…" Hermione admitted, eyes shadowed, guilt.

"No, all I need is the cupboard double for Charlie…I'll put it in Potter Abbey," Harry rushed to say, "The Dragons understand snake language, which means I can talk to them, get them to come through…I can even bring one of my own to the Abbey, she's given birth they're growing thick and fast…it would be nice for them to be around their own kind other than their mother."

Charlie's breathing hitched, "Talk…" longing lit up his eyes, Merlin, "But you didn't talk to the…" recalling Harry's fourth year.

"No, I didn't," Harry confessed.

"She was pregnant when she found you? And let you approach?" Charlie paled drastically, "They don't normally allow that." Shaken by the news.

"I think it came to the area with the biggest concentration of magic, perhaps thinking it would help her? Either way I got her comfortable." Wondering at Charlie's reaction.

"I think…I think you bonded with her, she's your familiar…" Charlie said in wonder. "I've only ever heard about this happening in journals and books." Awe overwhelming him, he would have given everything he had – which hadn't been much – to bond with a dragon.

Harry swallowed thinking vividly of Hedwig, his beautiful snowy owl. He still hadn't forgotten her and never would. His first companion, first gift, the very first thing he'd ever cared for and loved unconditionally. Because the Order wanted to be idiots instead of Apparating a dozen places before going to Grimmauld Place he'd lost her. No, it was his fault, if he hadn't used the damn disarming charm, they wouldn't have realized who he was…but he hadn't realized it had become a habitual spell he'd used.

Daryl nudged Harry, bringing him out of his thoughts, he hadn't done that in a while. It seemed interacting with everyone from his past was bringing it out.

"Alright, I'll get the cupboard to Potter Abbey, expect me to be there soon, I'll talk to the dragons. Get everyone prepared to leave do you need bags and trunks? Anything you'll need to make it more comfortable?" squeezing Daryl's hand in silent thank you.

"I can't think of anything, as for bags I've already made them expandable, it will fit everything," Charlie explained, relief almost bowling him over. Looking out of the mirrors range, at the walkers was all he could see for miles.

"How is it that walkers can get through sanctuaries wards?" Harry asked Hermione and Severus with worry.

"Easily, wards need to be maintained, the more magical animals within, the greater the need for them to be updated. It's a surprise they've lasted this long, and nobody there must be capable of strengthening them." It was Severus who spoke.

Harry inhaled sharply, nodding, "Hogwarts has them?"

"Hogwarts is more secure than a dragon sanctuary, but yes, we have ward master's there, and they already have appointed a dozen apprentices to ensure the wellbeing of the wards for the next few generations." Severus explained.

"They're going to be getting their chance to put wards up soon enough," Hermione told them, "Daryl's suggest works wonders, nearly all the walkers have been taken care of, when that's done, the wards will expand to include Hogsmeade and the surrounding villages."

Harry nodded, "Alright, you have half an hour to get everyone ready, Charlie, can it be done?"

"Yes," Charlie replied immediately, "Harry…thank you,"

"You're welcome," Harry said, "We'll need to get some people with warding experience at the Abbey, if what you say is true. It's empty now, but it won't be for long."

With that the mirror stopped glowing blue as Charlie 'deactivated' the connection, presumably harrying to get everyone together.

"An Abbey you say? It will take decades for those kinds of wards to break, back in the day they made wards unbreakable, the power they had at their disposal is…significant compared to this day and age. They used raw magic, in its purest form. No wand, no staff." Severus told him, awed, the Potter's have an Abbey?

Daryl nodded, he knew wandless magic was purer, Harry had explained that to him. This was further proof that Harry was significantly more powerful than all other wizards and witches. Just how was Harry so much more powerful than the rest of them? How did it work?

"It was given to Abraham Potter, for his services I believe," Harry informed him, wryly, having sensed the question. "He didn't have kids, so it went back into the main Potter estate per his wishes, and was evidently forgotten."

"One of the first Aurors…" Severus asked surprised.

Harry nodded, "Yep, Abraham Potter was the 'spare' heir and left for America and worked as an Auror. I can't tell you anything else though, because I don't have a clue."

Axel listened to it all gaping, he had a freaking Abbey? "Why the hell was you at the quarry and prison for?" was he nuts?

Harry laughed, "Oh, man, I didn't know anything about it! I've actually only recently found out. Severus' idea to call my House-elves made sure of that." A wry grin on his face, "You should be grateful though, fuck knows what would have happened if we hadn't wandered upon you."

Axel swallowed and shuddered, "Point," it was true enough, they probably would have resorted to cannibalism. By they he was talking about the real big bad's that were in prison and had been dealt with by Harry. You do what you have to in order to survive prison, even if it meant associating with bad guys. Although, they hadn't known the extent of it, which sickened him to the core. Thank fuck they weren't alive to hurt anyone else.

"Or us," Daryl added, a self-loathing look on his face. he knew what would have happened, they'd have robbed the quarry blind, left em all for dead. Probably ended up dead themselves, especially with Merle using. Yeah, he had no doubt about the outcome of them going it alone. Merle had been right, sticking it out with Harry had probably saved all their lives.

Axel and Daryl shared a haunted knowing look.

"Right, let's get this over with, we'll tell everyone the good news at breakfast," Harry said giving Axel a nod with a massive shit eating grin on his face. Thank Merlin he wasn't about to lose someone else.

Axel smiled, "I'll be glad when I can get out of here,"

"Just another hour then," Hermione commented, well aware of when Breakfast was served here having been in the surgery for the past three days with Oscar bringing everyone breakfast and staying the rest of the day.

"I'll be back within that time frame hopefully…" Harry said, "Is the cupboard at Hogwarts, Hermione?"

"Yes, I'll go and get it, I know which one it is," Hermione told him, "I'll meet you outside PA's one." It was very rarely ever referred to its true name, Fort Benning.

"Okay," Harry agreed, "You coming? Or do you want to go hunting today?" they didn't kill too many animals, for fear of not being able to replenish their supplies. However, they did now and again do so, mostly to keep the population becoming way too much. It was always done strategically, male and female respectively and if there were less female then it was males.

Waving to Hermione, Harry wandered back out of the surgery, heading home to collect a few things he might need.

"Can't hunt again for a few months," Daryl shook his head, "It's breeding season," he informed Harry as they walked home.

"Oh, well, alright then," Harry replied, naturally he didn't know much about animals enough to know those sorts of things. Daryl most definitely did, having been a hunter for as long as he remembered. He begun training in very young childhood. A small smile appeared on his face at the thought of Daryl teaching their child how to hunt.

"What's that smile for?" Daryl asked, peering at Harry curiously, if he'd been behind him as he tended to be, he wouldn't have noticed it.

"A lovely image of you teaching our child how to hunt," Harry revealed honestly as they walked, smiling when Daryl's ears went red. "Even better that you honestly wouldn't care whether we have a boy or girl." He would teach them how to be a little ass-kicker no matter what.

"I don't," Daryl confirmed, he was honestly still coming to terms with the fact he was doing to be a Da'. It was a nice image though, he imagined a kid that looked like Harry, with both their eyes, and it wouldn't know the sort of childhood he'd had or Merle, or Harry for that matter with more family than it would ever need.

Which would ensure the kid was able to socialise, although Merle was better at it than him. Only just though, since he always offended someone, well, back in the day before Luna anyway.

He wasn't good at talking, even now, a bit more confident, yes, but for the most part there were only a dozen that he really talks to.

Daryl grabbed his crossbow; he'd only taken his gun with him and his knife. Since they were going out, he was definitely taking it. Harry's own compound bow was largely untouched since they got here. Not that he needed it overly much, with magic, his guns and knives. That's not to say it hadn't come in handy though. He could hear Harry talking to his snake Celeste from the bedroom.

"Hey, do you know where Anubis is?" Harry called, concern in his voice, he hadn't seen him since last night.

"Probably with Hela," Daryl commented, as he wandered into the living room, "She's ready to pup any time soon." Half-breed dogs, crossed between a German Shepherd and a Huskey.

"Yeah," Harry frowned, "Think we should get Hela done after the pups?" more mouths to feed not that they were hurting. They had more kibble than they knew what to do with, Michonne and her group had come across a warehouse full of dog stuff. Bedding, treats, kibble all the shit like that. Sure, there had been other stuff, but most of it had definitely been for pets. They'd cleared it all out regardless of what it was, even hay and stuff for gerbils and hamsters…which they did not have.

Daryl shrugged, "Up to Sophia," which true, she was Hela's owner after all, and she was responsible for the pups, but Hershel was helping naturally. Hela was probably one of the healthiest dogs in the world.

Most dogs if they've survived this far would be all but feral now.

Shaking off his thoughts, "Right let's get going, I don't want to miss breakfast." This was news that they had been searching so desperately for. It wasn't an all-out cure that would see the world getting back to normal…but it gave them knowledge that they would survive if bitten.

Daryl gave him a knowing look as they wandered back out again.

They found Hermione waiting on them with the shrunken cupboard in hand. "Good luck and be careful." Not that much luck was needed, they were only going to Romania then back to Potter Abbey but still…habit of a lifetime.

"Always," Harry replied, there was too much on the line not to be.

"I'm going to do some research with Luna, she's been at me to help," Hermione told them, "So, I'll see you later." She was actually looking forward to doing something different for a change. All of her work was focused on a possible cure, with nothing actually being done. They tried all the time to come up with something…now they had something it was a weight off their shoulders…but it wouldn't stop them until they had figured it all out. An actual all out active cure. Severus was the only reason she actually stopped being obsessive over it.

She wasn't sure what she would have done without him.

"Let's get this over with," Harry said, squeezing Daryl's hand in warning before he apparated them to Potter Abbey.

Daryl's eyes widened seeing it, "You're really gonna get animals make a home here? Mess this place up?" stained glass, a whole lot of windows, it was like a cathedral, it was beautiful even to him who lived his whole life in a cabin.

"Not just animals," Harry pointed out, "People too, I never did find out if plumbing was installed here while I visited." Considering they'd all been living in a sanctuary in tents probably…they'd be grateful for being indoors. "Plus, what good is it going to do me? I'm happy where I am…I'm happy wherever you are. Can you honestly say you'd be happy here?"

"Are you sure there's no animals here?" Daryl asked, narrowing in on the grass, his keen gaze taking in the marks. He didn't care where they stayed as long as it was safe, walker free and with Harry and his brother. Whether it was here or PA.

"I didn't look, and I'm not sure how the wards work, I've not been to the hub…or you know, even know where it is." Harry admitted, watching Daryl investigate.

"There's something here, more than one something," it was leaving hints of its presence, but he couldn't honestly say what it was.

"Let's take a quick look," Harry said, "We'll need to secure them, so that the dragons and whatever else Charlie's collected doesn't end up eating whatever it is."

Daryl nodded, and with practiced ease, be began to track the animal, only to pause after five minutes, "Tracks are goin' in two separate directions," Daryl frowned, "I…this tracks similar to a bear, and this one I think is a cougar."

"Animals are migrating, going anywhere they can to keep safe," Harry mused, "I wouldn't be surprised to see animals that don't…belong," harry suddenly squeaked off, surprise in his voice.

Daryl immediately jerked his head up, zoning in on what Harry was looking at. His jaw dropped, staring in disbelief, almost wanting to rub his eyes and look again. A bloody panda of all things sitting chewing on the plant life.

"Bloody hell," Harry muttered, "Was there a zoo around here that had panda's?"

Daryl shrugged, he had absolutely no idea, he hadn't cared about any of that kind of shit. His time was spent hunting, so they could eat. While his brother spent what they did get on drink and drugs. Not that he didn't drink it as well, but that was besides the point. If not for their ability to get their own food they would have gone hungry.

"Why hasn't the cougar attempted anything?" Harry asked blankly, then again would a lone cougar even attempt to attack a panda?

"Deer tracks," Daryl deduced, "It's going after prey,"

"I almost feel bad," Harry said wryly, bringing bigger and badder prey into the area. "We'll need to secure a bit of the forest for the panda though,"

"Panda's," Daryl corrected, pointing upwards.

Harry's breath caught, it was a female, and it had two pandas attached to her. A small smile worked its way onto his face, they were beautiful. Thriving here in their little den, they didn't look like they were hurting for food.

"It's unusual," Daryl confided, "Panda's normally only have one and if they have two…they pick one and abandon the other." Their habits were changing too, but then again, these pandas were probably raised in a zoo, not in the wild…would that change their habits?

"Well, they don't tell you that," Harry said wryly, how lovely he thought, wand out and beginning to raise wards at an alarming rate. Giving the pandas more than enough room to feel comfortable. "Too bad there's no bamboo," at least he reckoned that's what they ate, he'd seen a picture with them eating bamboo anyway.

Daryl remained silent and watchful while Harry erected wards to safeguard the pandas from anything that might do them harm. They were probably the last of their kind, chances of finding more was slim to none. Which meant if it was a male and female, they might have trouble on their hands later. Way later, inbreeding didn't do damage right away after all. He was getting that used to magic that he could see the subtle flares as the wards went up. One went blue, one translucent and the other orange.

"There, that will stop the dragons from being able to spit fire at them." Harry said, swaying slightly on the balls of his feet. "I'm glad I can still use magic for a bit," all things were calm, he was just waiting for the other shoe to drop when it came to his magic.

Not that it was a bad thing. He'd never taken magic for granted and never would.

"Take it you're going to do the Kingdom today?" Daryl questioned, as Harry set up returning the cupboard to its correct size.

"Maybe," Harry shrugged, "Depends on how everything goes," he didn't need to do everything today. In fact, he didn't need to do everything himself.

After all this time, he finally got it.

"Let's get them to their new home." Harry said, opening the door, and within seconds he was stepping out into Romania. "Welcome to Romania," Harry told Daryl, but it wasn't a beautiful sight they were getting to see. No, it was filled with worried people, and walkers groaning around its entire perimeter as far as the eye could see.

"Charlie, how many are magical?" Harry asked, staring at the row of people, all with their hands full waiting patiently. Noticing that Charlie was a lot thinner than he remembered ever seeing him, but not enough to be concerning.

"Only half," Charlie told Harry and Daryl, shaking their hands, "We've been teaching them what we could. I sort of contemplated sending them to Hogwarts for a more formal and rounded education…I mean I don't remember half of what I was taught and wands…well, they aren't a good fit."

"It's a good idea," Harry nodded, "Luckily I've got a lot of wands, which means they might get wands that are a better fit." Who knew they'd actually come in handy? Especially for such a large group, fingers crossed they actually found a wand that suits them.

That certainly had them talking in their native language, presumably one of them telling them all that's being said.

"Um…how many of them understand English?" Harry asked, he certainly didn't understand Romanian.

"They all do, but its instinctive to speak in their own tongue," Charlie explained, "I learned Romanian when I took the job. I'm fluent in both languages. He's just explaining what you said and they're excited at the thought of having a wand that fits."

"Got it, alright guys, head on through if you're not helping with the animals, Charlie you'll be in charge of setting up the animal pens and perimeters, there's already a family of Panda's in the area and at least a cougar and deer. The Panda's have already been secured." Harry explained, gesturing for those not helping with the animals to go on through.

Charlie's eyes widened in surprise as he nodded dumbly, pandas?

The kids were unsurprisingly through first, with either a man or woman, Harry silently approved of the mix. He'd seen too much of people delegating women to the side-lines with the misguided notion of them 'not being hurt' when in reality they were just making things worse for themselves. Hopefully Ezekiel had taken his advice, and begun training the women. Then just men and women, who he assumed were Muggles and weren't going to be able to help magically at any rate.

"And we will be sending you some deer and other animals, so that they can populate the area, and feed you guys when the time comes. We'll begin a trading set up in future, but for now focus on growing, Hogwarts and PA can give you enough supplies to get you going." Harry explained, as the others went through, some with trepidation and others with relief.

The relief that spread across Charlie's face was immense, honestly, he'd been about to beg Hogwarts to for help. The hadn't had the cupboards long, mere days really, since it finally got to him. More often than not the adults were going hungry to feed the kids an adequate amount…which was dangerous considering what they were dealing with every day.

"Thanks, Harry, I'm…we haven't been able to feed the dragons properly," Charlie admitted, "Well, anything really," the supplies had dwindled to an all time low.

"Shoulda fed em the walkers, they can't catch the virus," Daryl pointed out, and Charlie just blinked at him. "It's what we've been doing, won't work forever of course, but it feeds em."

"I…didn't think of that," Charlie admitted, groaning in annoyance at his own stupidity.

"Don't worry I've got a pile they can have," Harry waved away the concern, "And by this afternoon I'll have supplies over for you. The only problem is, there's no electricity here, hell, I don't even know if there are working gas supplies…"

"We still have those gas plates, we never used em again after we found the prison." Daryl pointed out.

"And I have dozens of them packed away in the trunk, unused." Harry conceded, "It might do you guys until a rune is created that will act as a cooker. Luna's working overtime to create them."

"Okay, get everything set up, write down a list of everything you need, clothes, bathing supplies, everything I emptied out shops and we have more than enough." Harry explained to Charlie, they were using soap and shampoo that Mira was making, all smelt wonderful. It was a rule, if you can find an alternative so none of the supplies he has need to be used, they'd use it.

Harry and Daryl were just about to head on through with Charlie when someone spoke.

"Baby supplies?" one hopeful man asked, almost trembling with the force of it.

"How far along…?" Harry asked, glancing at the woman, she was frail and tired looking and very big. "Do you have someone that will be able to help with the baby?"

"Any day now, and no," eyes shadowed with fear and worries.

Harry nodded, "Then when the time comes, I want you to come to PA, we have all the equipment you might need. Nurse, Doctor, army medic, and a Medi-witch between them all, you'll get the help you need. I would prefer only three coming through at any given time." He added, "I'll bring enough baby supplies don't worry." Had the people he under his care once again doubled almost?

With that taken care of, and with meticulous care and action, the animals were all transferred through, the dragons docilly going through after Harry spoke to them with the cupboard's size expanded ten times its original size. Harry had explained what was going on, where and why, treating them like the sentient creatures they were. Charlie watched with awe, and within thirty minutes they had the Romanian sanctuary cleared out of every animal and human except Charlie, Harry and Daryl.

"Right, we'll be back after breakfast and before lunch," Harry promised, "Go on through, we need to Apparate this one back to the Abbey so that it can be used between PA and the Abbey."

"What's the PA again?"

Harry informed him it was the name of their own safe heaven. Charlie might not be an expert in Latin but he knew enough to understand what PA actually meant.

With that Charlie nodded, before stepping through himself and found himself staring at the wonderment that was Potter Abbey, another PA shortened he thought wryly.

Stained windows, towers, gargoyles in abundance, the front door was massive, the moat going around was still filled with water. The animals would love that, it looked breathtakingly mesmerizing. Stone walls, structurally sound, there truly was more than enough room for all the animals and then some. The gothic architecture was…out of this world, it was like taking a massive leap back in time. Had this place even been habited since the century it had been built in? There we no add on's, no extra buildings that stole the original beauty that it came with.

Merlin, what would the inside be like?

"I can't believe we're going to be staying here," one of the wizards spoke in Romanian. "We are, aren't we?" they hadn't misunderstood?

"We are, Harry has given us permission to use Potter Abbey," Charlie explained, speaking English. "We're safe." At least for now, but they were so far removed from society that they would need to Apparate to places to hunt for food and supplies. "We need a map of the area." He said, mostly to himself, making a mental note to write that down on the list of items he'd need to make for when Harry returned after lunch.

Harry and Daryl had been a lot longer than anticipated which meant that breakfast was already being consumed by the hungry horde. Not surprisingly, the second they entered the room, it broke out in loud lively chatter. Their spirits had been well and truly lifted in a way Harry had never seen before. Even Hershel and Dale were more spirited than he'd seen either man for a while.

"Here you go!" Tara said, handing them their plates of food.

"How did it go with Charlie?" Hermione called out so she could be heard.

"Everyone's situated in Potter Abbey, they're still in the progress of getting the animals contained," Harry explained, it was easily done since most of the animals had been ensconced in trunks.

"Another P.A?" Luna said in amusement, eyes twinkling brightly.

Daryl chuffed as he ate, the sound echoed by his brother and the others.

"Evidently," Harry said wryly, as he ate, observing Axel surrounded by well-wishers, with Carl close by. Axel and Carl had become very close, almost as if Carl saw Axel as a father figure, more so than his own.

"We've been due a good day," Dale said, bright eyes and rosy cheeked.

"We have," Harry agreed, "Hershel, how's T-Dog's training going?"

"He and Tyreese are doing well," Hershel answered, his head cocked to the side in curiosity.

"Be prepared for a birth, any time now," Harry informed him.

"Someone from Charlie's group?" Severus deduced, "Muggle or Witch?"

"She might be, either that or she's dating a wizard," Harry admitted, he'd seen the wizard with a wand, but the woman no.

"Does it matter?" Hershel queried, "Is there a different technique?"

"No, not at all, but potions work better on those with magic than non-wizards." Severus explained to the vet with kindness you didn't normally see from the wizard. "In a pinch, yes, they're very useful, but certain potions shouldn't be given to Muggles at all, and those used primarily in giving birth are one of the few."

"It's like the Epidural for women giving birth, only potions help significantly more," Hermione added, as a Muggle raised witch, she and Severus were quite a team in making things make sense to Muggles.

"Ah," Hershel nodded his understanding, "I shall prepare the Doctor surgery this afternoon in preparation."

"I'll bring the potions," Mira chimed in.

"Thank you, Mira," Harry said, sighing softly, "Luna did you get in touch with Ezekiel?"

"Yeah, he knows we'll show up when you're ready," Luna told him, "He doesn't know everything…has no need to know everything either." She was more trusting than Harry, but not that much. He might have been receptive to magic and accepting but it didn't mean squat if he turned on them thinking Harry 'freakish' for his ability to carry. It wasn't a risk she was willing to take.

"It will probably be this afternoon," Harry confirmed, "We also need to give Jesus a phone as well, I think that's how I'll leave how to communicate with us. I don't want to mass use the cupboards."

"Probably a good idea, otherwise it will be like trying to find Narnia," Sophia grinned, "Can you imagine it?" the children coming and going, and having no idea where they were?

Harry smirked wryly, "They won't be able to open the doors," he reassured everyone. Mostly Michonne, Lori and Lily, all whom had young children who would be or were already getting into everything.

There we go! My goodness I have so many stories that are in the last stages! :) I'm going to miss them when they're complete! Will Bill and Fleur join Harry at PA or will he join his brother at the P.A 2? Will Harry be the only one preggers during the story or will we see someone else going through it too in P.A? any couples you can think of that would be good? I try to include everyone as much as possible but with such a massive MASSIVE group it isnt always possible! :) R&R please! AND OMG I can't believe this has reached 100 chapters!
