Kouta stared at the carnage as he broke inside.

"You killed my father and sister! Why? I thought that we were friends!"

Lucy merely glared.

"What do you mean? If we weren't friends, you'd be dead by now."

Kouta pointed angrily.

"If we weren't friends, you'd be dead by now!"

Feeling an uncomfortable twinge, Lucy thought quickly, perhaps too quickly.

"Well, since neither of us is dead, I guess we're still friends then."

Kouta shook his head, shouting.

"How stupid do you think I am?"

As he sobbed, Lucy fled the train.

"Almost had him. Missed it by that much."
