Welcome to my new story! I know that I kind of stopped updating for my other one, but I'm re-writing it fully before I post it. I'm nearly done with it as well, so it won't be too long before that's up.
I do not own Fairy Tail or Harry Potter

"Lily, he's here! Take Harry and run, I'll hold him off!"
Lily Potter nee Evans sprinted away from her husband's yelling voice, clutching their child to her chest, and mumbling prayers to any being that might be listening. As she heard a cruel laugh and a thud coming from the floor beneath her she sobbed, already knowing what had happened to her husband.
She placed Harry into his crib and began to frantically chant, hoping to activate the protective runes that she had placed around his crib weeks before in case this exact thing happened.
As the runes began to light up she looked into her son's eyes and whispered.
"Mama loves you Harry, Dada loves you too. Stay strong baby; remember that we love you with all our hearts."
The door blasted open to show the tall robed figure of Lord Voldemort. He swept into the room with his wand in his hand, a sneer on his face as he took in the two people that he had come to kill. He took no notice of the rune that surrounded the child; instead his eyes alighted upon the mother that stood protectively in front of the crib.
"Stand aside silly girl, stand aside and I shall spare you your life!" He hissed, having no actual inclination to do so. In his mind, a Mudblood was always a Mudblood, no matter what he had promised his followers, or how accomplished said Mudblood was.
"Not Harry, please anybody but Harry, kill me instead!" the desperate mother sobbed.
"Stand aside girl!"
"Please, anybody but Harry!"
"As you wish then, Mudblood," the Dark Lord hissed. "Avada Kedavra!"
With a shocking green light the woman fell down, her body falling over the runic pattern, her fingers scratching away at the dried ink that made up the protection. Instead of the runes just being for protection, now there was a second clause: transportation of the protected if harmed.
Voldemort walked closer to the crib, a triumphant sneer on his face as he looked down at the crying baby in front of him. How could this child be destined to defeat him, Lord Voldemort? He was the most powerful wizard- no matter what the sheeple thought of Albus Dumbledore.
He turned his wand to the child's forehead and as he hissed out the two hateful words that had brought so much death and destruction, the runes activated, bouncing the spell back towards its caster, though the barrier could not stop the cut that appeared on the child that it surrounded. The baby wailed as the second clause kicked in, and Harry Potter was sent away from one world of magic, to another one.
