SURPRISE! I'm back!

I just wanted to pop in, approximately one year, five months, four days, and nine hours after I last updated this giant piece of work, to say a huge thanks to you guys!

What's even more baffling is that I first published this story four years, three months, 21 days, and a few more hours ago. Yes, I totally used a website to do that math for me:)

It is sick that I began this story more than four years ago. What's even sicker is that during that time, this story has gathered over 40,000 reads!

So, thank you to all the readers – old and new, out there! I hope you enjoyed and are still enjoying this old piece!
