DOING SWELL

Dean could feel his left eye swelling closed. Not that it mattered as it matched his swollen lip, cheek, and right wrist. A couple of ribs hadn't fared too well either. Stupid troll.

He gratefully accepted the ice pack Sam shoved into his left hand. He gently placed it against his face.

"How're you doing?" asked Sam.

"Swell," returned Dean. "Ha ha, get it? Swell?" Dean chuckled and instantly regretted it. "Ow."

"I about had a heart attack when that troll sat on you."

"Fell, Sam—the troll FELL on me."

"Sure, butt first..."

"Go away..."
