CH. 8- Ay, you two are...

Carlos and Aiden were both woken up by thunder and lighting. They both had confused looks on their faces and began to laugh. They smiled at one another, Aiden pulled Carlos closer to embrace him and kissed the back of his head. Carlos looked up at Aiden and smiled again, seems lately his smile could never come off.

"You heard that right?" Carlos finally broke the silence.

He nodded "Well I believe it's time we get going."

"I really don't want this to end." He looks up at Aiden.

Aiden smiles, "I don't either but tomorrow is a school day."

"Uh don't remind me. Now I definitely don't want to go back." Carlos groaned wrapping Aiden's arms around him tighter.

"I agree, look at it this way. The sooner we leave the sooner our second date will be" Carlos smiled at that. Aiden kissed the back of Carlos' head one last time and unwrapped his arms from Carlos. They both got up and began to pack up all the food.

As they were about to leave, Carlos hesitated, "I really like this place. Can we come back?"

"Of course. It's in need of care, you wouldn't imagine how filthy everything was, and the spiderwebs, don't get me started. There was definitely a lot but I made it work." Aiden boasted.

"Wow, you done now? Carlos laughed, Aiden joined in.

"The point is, yes we can return and you're welcome to come at your leisure." Aiden says this as he shows Carlos where the spare key is. They lock up the little cottage and leave.

As they begin their walk, Carlos grabs Aiden's hands and interlocks their fingers. Aiden looks at Carlos and smiles.

Carlos has never been happier than this exact moment, where everything seemed perfect and nothing could ruin it. It was going to take some getting used to but Carlos knew this felt right.

Aziz continued to follow the leaf into the courtyard of the school. He heard her before he finally saw her. When he saw Audrey she was doing what she does best, gossiping. As Aziz grew closer to her all he could hear was something about Jane before he tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around excited to see him.

"There you are." She grabbed him, said goodbye and pulled him away from the crowds. "How did it go? Are they over? Has Aiden come to senses?" Aziz just looked at her pursed his lips then pressed them together. Audrey just glared at him with a curled lip. She already had her answer.

As Ben was talking to Jane about the Valentine's Day Festival preparations. Mal turned for a quick second and spotted Audrey with someone she hadn't recognized.

"Ben?" She went to grab him but accidentally punched his shoulder.

"Ow." Ben hissed.

"Oh, sorry." She rubbed his shoulder, then kissed his lips. "I was distracted. Who is that with Audrey?"

Ben turned to see where Audrey was, "Oh that's Aziz. He's Princess Jasmine's and Aladdin's son."

"Ok?" Mal raised an eyebrow.

"Oh stop being suspicious. He's probably here for today and leaving tonight. I'll introduce you." Ben wrapped his arm around Mal's and headed towards Aziz.

Mal was fighting back. She didn't want to talk to more royals more now since Audrey was with him. She knew she couldn't get out of Ben's grip so she stopped fighting and put on a brave face.

Audrey quickly spotted Mal and Ben and gestures to Aziz, she quickly changed the subject as well. To not raise any suspicion to themselves. Audrey had an image to maintain nothing and no one was going to ruin that. She did it with enough time, that Aziz and Audrey were talking about Agrabah before Ben tapped Aziz on the shoulder.

"Aziz, what brings you here?" Aziz turns and smiles.

"I'm just here for the weekend. Wanting to check out how Aurodan's changed. And say hi to old friends." He hugs Audrey and notices Mal.

"Could this vision in purple be Mal?" He smiles and says "elprup esor." Hands Mal a purple rose, and she gladly takes it.

"Backwards magic?" I like it. As well as the rose." Mal puts it up her nose to smell.

"Aziz things are different here. Although it might not be illegal, magic is frowned upon." He scorns Aziz.

"I use magic." Mal quickly turns to Ben.

"Yes but that's different?" Ben eyes go wide. He realized what he just did.

"Different because I'm a VK?" Mal walks away from the conversation.

"Looks like you have some apologizing to do. Catch you later." Audrey grabs Aziz by the arm and they go on their way. Audrey turns to see Ben quickly go and apologize to Mal.

As they keep walking they're finally alone. Audrey turns to Aziz.

"What went wrong? I thought you sabotaged the date." Audrey stopped.

"I did, but things still ended up going well." Aiden shrugged his shoulders.

"What exactly did you do?" Audrey raised an eyebrow.

"I spoiled their food." He lowered his head and whispered. Now realizing that maybe he hadn't done enough to make sure this date went horribly wrong. He knew he was about to get an earful from Audrey. Normally Aziz isn't scared of anyone but Audrey can be vicious when she has her mind set on something.

"You spoiled their food!" Audrey lost it, she grabbed his chin. "That's it? That's ALL you did? Don't you know magic, like Aiden?" Aziz just nodded.

Audrey just sighed, "looks like we're going to have to team up." She smiled, "do you know how to hypnotize anyone?"

Aziz eyes grew wide, he wasn't sure if he should tell the truth or lie. Audrey began to tap her foot on the pavement. He really wasn't sure where Audrey was going to go with this. He answered the best way he could.

"I do but I've only practiced on small animals like beetles or mice." Aziz looked away from Audrey.

"So you'll work your way up. You can stay in my dorm. We need to get you to hypnotize a human. Just long enough to steal a curse." Audrey grinned. Aziz nodded.

Aziz looked away he had no idea exactly what he was getting himself into. He knew Audrey and how she could be. She used to be so sweet but now, she's turned. She's almost as bad as the villains. Aziz wondered if he would later come to regret this. All he wanted was to get Aiden back, but seeing how he is with Carlos. Aziz sees he was never a good boyfriend to Aiden. It was too late to turn back now, however.

As Carlos and Aiden finally get to campus. Aiden asks if he could walk Carlos to his dorm. Carlos hesitates but says yes. Carlos isn't ready to face the reality of Jay and him being mad. He wanted to avoid the dorms as much as he could.

"Why the hesitation?" Aiden squeezes Carlos' hand.

"Just" He takes a see breath "Jay still isn't talking to us. So it's going to be awkward in the dorm is all. I kind of don't want to be there."

"Well you're more than welcome to my dorm. We can relax. I have a spare bed as well, if you wish to stay with me tonight." Aiden asked as they stopped walking.

"Really? I wouldn't be imposing would I?" Carlos looks up at those purple eyes, gleaming so bright thanks to the sunset.

"Not at all. I just need to inform my other date, that things have changed and I will no longer be seeing him tonight." He winks at Carlos.

"You're horrible." Carlos playfully pushes Aiden.

"I'm only teasing you. You're the only man I have my eyes on." Carlos narrowed his eyes at him. Aiden just smiled at him , put his arms around Carlos' side. Carlos looked up at Aiden, who kissed his forehead. Aiden turned them around, to head to Aiden's dorm instead.

"Hey, I may have said this a lot the past 2 days but thank you. For everything. You've made me feel so comfortable not only with you but in my own skin." Carlos takes a deep breath.

Aiden just grabs Carlos' chin and kisses him. The sunset behind them silhouetting their moment. They break away and continue forward.

"I'm glad. You've had a rough life and I'm glad I can make you smile. By the way that smile always makes my heart melt." Aiden grabs Carlos' hand and interlocks his fingers with Carlos'. Carlos looks up at him and turns bright red.

Once they arrive at Aiden's dorm. He tells Carlos to wait outside while he tidies up. Carlos understands and waits in the hallway. Aiden happily provides a chair for him, kisses the top of his head and heads back inside.

Carlos sits down and now he's alone with his thoughts. He thinks about the past two days and how so much has happened. He's happy Evie and him ran into Doug and Aiden. He wouldn't have expected so much to happen so fast. When the thought of Jay crept up and ruined his mood. He still doesn't understand him. They used to be so close, like brothers but now he wasn't sure where they stood. Carlos took a deep breath and leaned back, his head against the wall.

He looks down and his feet and he hears the door open. He looks up at Aiden and smiles. Aiden reached out his hand and took him into his room.

As Carlos walks in, he notices the dorm is same exact room as his even down to the tan skinned roommate. He questions this, but doesn't really say much until he notices there are only two beds and the tan roommate sitting at his desk.

"I thought you had a spare bed." He pointed at Aiden's roommate who's back was turned to them.

"Oh, eso te dijo el? Is that what he said?" The roommate popped his gum, in an accent exactly like his mother.

Carlos raised an eyebrow "yeah." He mouthed who is that to Aiden.

"Carlos this is my roommate, Manny Rocio Ramirez. He's the son of Audrey, the engineer who found Atlantis." Manny slightly waved.

"Pleasure." Carlos nodded. "So what about the bed?"

"Don't you get it chiquito, you're gonna sleep with him." He turned to wink at Carlos. Carlos just blushed.

Aiden rushed in front of Carlos arms waving, "Whoa! No" he turns to face Manny, pointing a finger at him then turning back to Carlos "No, you will sleep in my bed and I will sleep on the couch."

"I can't do that to you." Carlos looked down.

Aiden grab Carlos by then shoulders, "Hey you didn't ask for this. I volunteered. It's just for one night. I can survive."

"Oh si, el royal sleeping on the couch. Call the press." Manny popped his gum again. This time standing by his bed. They both looked at Manny confused.

Manny put his hands up in defeat "Dios mio, I'm kidding. I thought the VK could at least handle a joke. You're just as bad as him."

Carlos looked at Aiden even more confused. Carlos was used to being made fun of by people not wanting him but he didn't think that was what Manny was doing.

"Is he making a joke?" Carlos asks.

"I honestly never know." Aiden looks at Carlos.

"Ay, you two are…" he just groans. Gets his stuff and heads to the bathroom mumbling to himself in Spanish.

"He means well I promise. He takes some getting used to. By the way I know he's joking but I like to pretend I don't know what he's talking about." Aiden laughs.

Carlos turns to look at him, "and here I thought I was the evil one." Aiden just smiles. He takes Carlos' hand in his and leads him to the couch. Where they spend the next few hours with the TV on in the background while they talk.

As the night comes to an end "Okay, can you lovebirds go to bed? Es tiempo de dormir." (Time to sleep)

"Si, Manny ya vamos." Aiden gets up from the couch.

Manny shot Aiden a glaring look "how you kept your Spanish up. I will never understand." Aiden just shakes his head and smiles.

"I didn't know you can speak Spanish."

"Manny taught to me when we were younger and I've kept it up."Aiden smiles, "but we really should be getting to bed. You can borrow something of mine to sleep in"

Carlos goes and gets dressed in the bathroom. He still isn't comfortable taking over Aiden's bed. But is happy he gets to spend more time with Aiden. When Carlos comes out of the bathroom, he sees Aiden is already dressed.

Carlos asked earlier if he could set an alarm. Aiden says it was fine and Manny made a comment about not setting it to early or he would throw a pillow at him. After it was set, Aiden grabs Carlos' arm and they share a small kiss.

"Get a private room." Manny yells from his bed. Aiden and Carlos smile. They say goodnight to each other and Aiden heads for the couch. Carlos gets in bed but sits up to see Aiden on the couch. Smiles one last time and his head hits the pillow.
