I do not own Fire Emblem

"Validar!"
Chrom's shout echoed throughout the temple to Grima, drawing all eyes to him. Validar himself slowly turned around, smiling darkly as he saw Robin, "Ah, Chrom. Come to witness the glorious culmination of your failure? How wonderful." The sorcerer gestured to the altar behind him, where the Fire Emblem was prominently displayed, "I have the Fire Emblem, and the Dragon's Table is fit for a feast. Soon, Grima will return to this world!"
"You'll destroy the world!" Chrom responded angrily, "Lucina has seen the future this path will create, and that is the only destination it has!"
Validar laughed, "Then I hope that the spectacle today lives up to her darkest nightmares! Your Awakening Rite is not only for you Exalts and Naga, you know. With it, I shall restore Grima himself!" His eyes moved from the Exalt to Robin, "All the Fell Dragon requires is a mortal vessel, which you were so kind to bring along."
Robin blinked, before clarity struck him, "Oh, gods. He means me." The tactician muttered.
"You understand quickly, Robin." Validar said with a hint of approval, "That's my boy."
For a long moment, father and son stared at each other, before a ghost of a smile found its way onto Robin's face, "So," the tactician said, "you said that I will be the vessel of Grima, father?"
"Indeed." Validar replied, "It is good to see that you are accepting your role." He pointed to Robin, "You carry my blood, the blood of the Fell Dragon. But unlike me and my forefathers, you also carry his soul, slumbering within you. And now the time has come for the both of you to awaken!"
The fire emblem gleamed behind Validar, and for a moment, the assembled shepherds felt the very idea of hope drain away at the thought of Grima's return. Their despair was broken swiftly, however, by a most unlikely sound.
Robin, Grandmaster of the Shepherds and the Vessel of Grima . . . was laughing in his father's face.
"What?" Validar hissed angrily, "What do you find so amusing, child?"
"What's not to be hilarious?" Robin laughed, "You, you said that I am Grima, that I hold his soul, correct?"
Validar began to look somewhat uneasy, "Y-yes."
"So, for all intents and purposes, I am Grima, correct?"
"Y-yes . . ." now the Sorcerous king of Plegia was beginning to look truly concerned.
Robin howled with laughter for a moment longer before quieting down, "In that case," he said, "I am your God." He pointed to the floor, "Now, Bow."

This oneshot popped into my head a few hours ago, and I just had to write it up. Not the longest work I've done, but I liked the idea too much to not write it down.
Keep Writing, Keep Rocking!
