It is a hot summer day and all the members of the student council are at Mily's father's beach house. The sand is bright and smooth and the water cool and calm. Right now everyone is sitting on the porch eating ice-cream. Shirley and Milly are sitting on the steps of the porch. Both are wearing bathing suits. Rivalz is sitting and leaning against one of the posts in his swim trunks. Suzaku is sitting in one of the deck chairs is a light sweater and shorts. While Lelouch is sitting at the table wearing a light t-shirt and shorts helping Nunnally eat her ice-cream who is wearing a bright summer dress. They sit quietly eating their ice-cream, too tired from the heat to talk.

Suzaku's eyes open and close as if he is about to fall asleep. He turns to look at Lelouch and notices he got some ice-cream on his check. Without thinking he stands up and stagers over to him. He flops down on the seat next to him and stares at him. Suzaku reaches forward and takes hold of Lelouch's face and pushes it toward him. Lelouch freezes and sees Suzaku from the corner of his eye. Meanwhile Rivalz watches and gets Milly and Shirley's attention.

"S-Suzaku w-what a-are y-you d-doing?" Lelouch stutters a little scared

"You have ice-cream on your face" he mumbles

With that Suzaku licks Lelouch's check. To make it worse he kisses it before pulling away. Lelouch turns to Suzaku with a look of shock and confusion. However, it changes when he sees the tired look on his friends face and without warning Suzaku falls to the side and out of the chair, landing on the porch with a thud.

"SUZAKU!"

Suzaku groans in pain, his head is pounding. The first thing he notices is that he is lying down on a soft bed. Next is the fact is that he is wearing different clothes, a loose tank top and shorts to be exact. He opened his eyes to find himself in a dark room. He turns his head to the side and sees a fan blowing cool air in his direction. It feels good.

"What happened?" he moans

Suzaku hears a creak and the door swings open revealing a very excited Rivalz.

"You're awake!" he shouts

Suzaku winces at his loud voice "Not so loud, please?"

"Sorry" Rivalz whispers

"What happened?" Suzaku asks

"You had a heat stroke, scared the heck out of us" Rivalz replies

"Sorry…"

"Lelouch is probably more shocked then we are by what you did"

"What did I do?" Suzaku asks confused

Rivalz is silent. "I'll let Lelouch tell you" he says before leaving

Suzaku is now more confused then ever. As he is pondering what he did the door creaks and Lelouch enters the room. Lelouch's face is blank, completely devoid of emotion.

"Lelouch, what happened? Rivalz won't tell me"

Suzaku could have sworn Lelouch is blushing but he brushed the thought away.

'Lelouch never blushes'

Lelouch is quiet as he stares at the floor.

"You licked and kissed me" Lelouch says out of the blue

Suzaku can fee the blood draining from his face.

"I-I-I…" Suzaku goes quiet "I'm sorry I didn't know what I was doing"

"Yeah, I know…"

"…"

"…"

"Are we still friends?"

Lelouch is quiet "Yeah" he mumbles

Suzaku sighs in relief.

"Just don't do it again!" Lelouch shouts suddenly

Suzaku winces "I'll be more careful not to do it again"

Lelouch huffs "Good…"
