'Just Like Any Other Father'

Luke Skywalker, the Living Jedi Legend, was waiting for his daughter to come home.

His daughter was all he had after his wife Felicity died in a space battle and his 18- year-old son Benjamin became a Resistance spy from within the First Order.

The door opened, revealing his 16-year-old daughter dragging in a boy.

Luke immediately narrowed his eyes at the sight of the boy.

The boy was a black skinned human, clearly shy and very uncomfortable.

"Dad, I'd like you to meet my best friend, Finn Numbers." Reyna, his daughter, introduced. "And Finn, meet my dad."

"Uh, hello Mr. Skywalker." Finn shyly said.

Luke reached out with the Force towards Finn.

Finn didn't have romantic feelings towards his daughter, which was fine by him.

Luke gave Finn a kind smile. "It's good meeting you, Finn."

Finn blinked. He probably hadn't expected that reaction from Luke Skywalker.

Rey smiled brightly. "Thank you daddy!"

"Anything for you, my ray of light." Luke said.

Rey happily left the room, dragging Finn with her. Probably upstairs to her room.

Luke sat down on the couch, chuckling to his own reaction.

But the first boy who'd be her boyfriend would have a less kind reaction from him.

Luke did know himself that well to know, he'd probably rip him apart if he'd try to dishonour his daughter. And he knew that the boyfriends would come soon.

After all, Rey was just as beautiful as her mother had been, maybe even more beautiful because of the blue eyes she got from him.

"Dad, I want you to meet my boyfriend. His name is Poe Dameron."

Luke stared straight at the older boy.

Poe was around 20 years old, and a very well-known Corellian pilot for the Resistance Academy at D'Qar. Both his parents were high-ranked Resistance fighters, people Luke knew very well. He was quite a handsome guy, but who was he on the inside?

"It's an honour to meet you, sir Skywalker." Poe said, bowing slightly in front of him.

Luke narrowed his eyes. "Rey, could you leave us alone for a minute."

Rey gave me a look, but didn't question and walked away.

Luke looked back at Poe. "Listen closely, Dameron."

Poe didn't coward down like other guys always did, but his face showed that he held major respect for the Jedi Master in front of him.

"I am just like any other father in this universe who has a daughter, I know myself. I will stop myself from ripping you in pieces right now, but when you hurt my girl, I will aim my sabre at your throat." Luke said, his eyes focussed on the younger man.

Poe nodded. "I understand, sir Skywalker. And I promise I won't hurt Rey, I love her to much for that."

"You do understand I'll still be wary of you?" Luke asked.

"I understand it completely, sir."

Just a one-shot I decided to write.
