AN: Hello everybody I'm back! I am so, so, so, so, sorry it has taken me so long to update, life has not been pretty this past year, please forgive me! I'm going to try my damnedest to start putting out one chapter a month, maybe less after the move to Colorado is finished. Again I'm so sorry! Okay so in this chapter I did my best to get the point across that even though Jake is imprinted when it comes to Bella even the imprint can't compete, the wolf side of Jake is in love with Aleera and she is his everything, she's it for him. But the human part of Jake, the man is still in love with Bella. I did my best to potray this, if there is anything I can fix or alter to make it better, please feel free to share and let me know, suggestions are always a welcome, I just ask that you not be hateful and keep it respectful.

Never Let You Go

Chapter 8

Paul:

Jared and I were heading toward Sam's to check in and let him know that the section we had covered was all clear, when all of the sudden Jared stops short.

Hey dude you hear that?-J

Hear what?-P

Everything alright?-E

Yeah I just hear what sounds like a lot of yelling, come on Paul lets go check it out and see what's going on-J

Hell no! It's not our business and I got a mate to go see.-P

Ah c'mon it won't take a minute!-J

Might as well do it Paul. You know he's not gonna quit till you do!-Q

Aren't you and Em suppose to be looking for signs of the red head?-P

We can look and talk at the same time.-Q Rolling my eyes I let out a soft growl.

C'mon on Jared lets go see what the hell is going on but once we find out I'm outta there!-P

Sweet!-J

Jared takes off and with a huff I follow behind him. Thirty seconds into our run it fucking dawns on me just which way the yelling is coming from. Picking up speed I pass Jared and make it to the edge of the forest beside Jacob's house just in time to see that little sombitch grab my mate roughly by the arm and swing her around to face him.

"Where the hell are you going!?" He yells in her face.

Holy hell!-Q

Seeing red, I start to lunge from the trees to go tare his fucking head off but before I can move Jared jumps in front of me.

Don't!-J

Move Jared or I swear your head will be hanging on my fucking wall beside his!-P

Sorry brother I can't do that! Whatever is going on is between them, let Aleera handle it!-J

He's right Paul, Leera can take care of herself.-E

If he grabs her like that one more time Jared, you won't stand a snowballs chance in hell at stopping me!-P

Wouldn't dream of it.-J With a snarl I turn my attention back to Jacob and Aleera.

"I'm pretty sure we just fuckin' covered that, ya thick headed fucktard! I'm goin' to Port Angeles with Jasper and Emmett to get my stuff!"

"Fuck! Why do you have to be such a stubborn ass bitch!? Don't you get it!? They can't control themselves, they'll try to kill you! They've already proven that with Bella!" Aleera shakes her head

"She's what this is all about isn't it!?"

"No!"

He's lying!-P Jared sighs.

Yeah I know and sadly so does Aleera.-J

"Like hell it ain't! Jake ya've got it stuck in yer head that I'm gonna join the vamps, like she's doing! Ya know for a damn fact the Cullens are not gonna hurt me and ya also know that my blood doesn't bother a damn one of them! So don't keep throwin' it's for my safety in my face when that's bullshit! This is all about Bella Swan choosin' Edward and the others over you!"

"Well at least she's only fucking one of the parasites and not hoping from one to other like a corpse jumping whore!"

I shift on the spot and bend down to rip the rope that was keeping my shorts tied to my ankle away. I'm about to have a fucking new wolf skin rug!

"Go to hell ya fuckin' BASTARD!" Aleera screams. Looking up in time I see her jerk free from the little shit's grip and stomp over to her truck. She jerks open the drive door and flings her purse inside.

With a low snarl I finally tare the rope off, freeing my shorts. I pull them on quickly, not bothering to fasten them and make a beeline straight for Jacob.

But Black shifts and takes off in the direction of Forks before I can reach him, seconds later Aleera's truck roars to life and she speeds off in the same direction, slinging rocks and mud everywhere as she goes.

"DAMMIT!" I yell as I reach the spot where my mate's truck had been moments before.

"Paul calm down!"

"Fuck that, did you hear what he said to her!?"

"I did and I'm not exactly happy about it either but there's nothing you can do right now!"

"The hell there isn't, I can go kill the bastard!" Jared takes in a deep breath and lets it out slowly.

"Look lets just get to Sam's and you can call her, alright?" Knowing that the only damn thing that's gonna calm me down and keep me from killing a pack member is the sound of her voice, I take off toward Sam's.

Running at full speed it doesn't take me long to get there and wouldn't ya know it Sam, Seth and Leah are all out in the front yard having a very heated discussion about the yelling they had heard. As soon as they see me Seth runs over.

"We heard shouting coming from Jake's place!"

"I know!" I snap.

Ignoring the questioning looks he, Sam and Leah give me I continue my way into the house and straight over to the phone hanging on the wall in the kitchen. Snatching it off the hook I quickly dial Aleera's number.

"What the hell is going on?" I hear Sam ask as he and the other three follow in behind me.

"Paul and I were on our way here to report in as scheduled and heard yelling. We went to check it out, turns out it was Aleera and Jacob. And Jake may have said some things he shouldn't have." A loud snarl rips its way from me.

"May have!? I swear when I see that little motherfucker I'm going to.."

"Hello?" A warm spine tingling feeling washes over me at the sound of her beautiful voice. And I immediately calm down 'Fuck! I am so whipped!'

"I swear you're the most stubborn person I have ever met." She sniffs and sighs softly

"Guess you've talked to Jacob?"

"Not exactly."

"Oh yeah, I forgot about the pack mind." Okay we'll go with that. No need to tell her I was standing in the woods not too far away listening and heard everything the fucking dickhead had to say.

"Ya know you could have just asked me to go and saved all the bullshit for another time."

"If Jake couldn't get out of his duties, what makes you think you could have?" I look toward the living room at Sam knowing damn well he and the others could hear our entire conversation and say.

"I'm not Jake sweet cheeks. I know how to ask our alpha nicely." Sam rolls his eyes at me and mumbles something as he, Jared, Seth and Leah come to sit at the kitchen table. Aleera snorts out a laugh.

"I can imagine what your definition of nice is."

"So, how long will you be gone?"

"Just a few hours."

"Can I see you when you get back." Sam's head snaps my way at my words, but I hold my hand up to stop him, I want to finish talking to Leera before dealing with the onslaught of shit I know is about to come form his mouth.

"Yeah, meet me at the Cullens, ya can drive me back."

"You're not worried about Jacob getting suspicious?"

"No, I'm sure ya can figure out a reason to be around when I get back."

"Okay sweet cheeks see ya in a few hours. And please be careful."

"I will."

"I love.." Before I can finish that sentence the line goes dead. 'Sonofabitch! Every damn time, I don't think she's ever going to let me tell her how I feel.'

With a sigh I hang up the phone, Sam starts as soon as the handset hits the fucking base.

"What the hell do you think you are doing!? I told you unless one of us was around to keep clear of Aleera until Jacob has been told of the double imprint!

"And when the fuck is that gonna be Sam!? Tomorrow, next week, next year, ten years from now, when!?"

"When I have more information! You know none of the elders know anything about this! This has never happened before and without the proper information Jacob's reaction may be disastrous! He could do something extremely stupid!"

"Like what? Dress in drag and do the hula?" Jared and Seth's eyes bug out and they damn near fall out of their chairs laughing at my smart ass comment. Leah isn't much better and Emily sounds like a deranged chipmunk she's giggling so hard.

"This is not something to joke about!" Sam snaps.

"Yeah it kinda is. I mean here you are trying to keep me from my mate and tiptoeing around Black like a punk bitch, because you're afraid he might what? Get hung up on the little necrophiliac even more than what he already is? And what's worse ya have us doing it!" Sam snarls and slams his hand down on the kitchen table.

"Dammit Paul this isn't just about Jacob and Bella Swan! You do realize that Jacob is the true alpha of this pack and could cash in at any time. He's chosen not to right now because he doesn't want the responsibility but if Jacob finds out about you before the time is right, he might damn well decided to take the roll! And I promise you he'll use all that comes with being this pack's alpha to keep you from Aleera!"

"I seriously doubt that."

"Really and why's that?" He sneers.

"Because if I'm right about where he's heading right now, then he doesn't give a damn about Aleera!"

"Guess it's a good thing the veggie leeches agreed to lets us patrol their territory, uh Sam? Be easier to explain why Jacob is over at the leech lover's."

"Leah, Paul's guessing we don't know for sure that's where he's gone."

"Cut the bullshit Sam, you know damn well that's where he's going!"

"Paul, Aleera is Jacobs imprint, his soulmate! We can't be with anyone else after meeting them! It's impossible!"

"Well someone needs to tell that to him!"

"He loves her Paul I've seen it! The way he looks at her is the same way I look at Emily and I'm head over heels for her!" I notice Leah's slight wince at Sam words.

"Ha! That's a good one! The imprint is the cause of that and I bet my left nut that if you'd watched close enough you'd saw the wolf at the surface. The wolf loves her but the man or should I say boy doesn't! The little shit only cares about himself and Bella Swan and I know that because of the vile that we heard come from his own fucking mouth!"

"What did he say?" Jared and I share a look silently asking the other if he wanted to be the one to repeat what we had heard. But already knowing the answer. No.

"Surely it wasn't that bad?" Shocking the hell out of me, Jared growls low and copying Sam from moments ago he hits the table and jumps to his feet

"He called her a corpse jumping whore, Sam! Now, I don't know what you consider bad but that shit sure does qualify as pretty fucking bad to me! And that's just some of the hurtful shit the bastard said to his imprint! His imprint Sam, not you, not me, not Leah or a random stranger. And certainly not to the Swan bitch! He doesn't deserve her Sam!" The room is so silent after Jared's outburst that you could have heard a fucking mouse farting in the wind.

A bit of pride begins to swell up in me at my brother standing up for my mate, it felt nice to have somebody else seeing my side of things. Besides Leah

"Thanks bro, nice to know I have one more person on my side." Sam sighs heavily and mumbles a low "Fuck!" Under his breath. After a few seconds he looks at me.

"Paul I'm sorry I didn't realize." Sam says sadly.

"You didn't realize what? That Jacob Black is a cry baby bitch and will stoop to any level to get what he wants, including belittling and making his imprint feel like utter dog shit!"

"So what do you suggest I do? She's is imprint Paul, I can't keep him from her."

"Why not? You seem to have no trouble doing it to me!"

"You didn't imprint on her first!"

Go fuck yourself dances on the tip of my tongue, ready to leap out at one of the two men that has made my life hell for the past two weeks but before I can even open my mouth to spew the words forward, an overwhelming feeling of panic and fear sets in and I have to brace myself against the kitchen wall to keep from falling on my ass.

"Paul?" Sam calls in a slightly concerned voice. Instead of giving him a reply I just continue to stand with one hand on the wall, the other clutching my chest, breathing like I'm trying to catch my last fucking breath.

"Paul are you okay?" Emily asks as she comes over and lays a hand on my forearm. I manage to catch her eye for a second and shake my head no.

"Aleera." Is all I mange to choke out before I'm tearing through Sam's back door and bursting out of my clothes into my wolf form. Screaming like a loon at Embry and Quil, I take off running like a motherfucker through the woods of LaPush heading in the direction of Forks.

* NLYG *

Embry:

QUIL, EMBRY WHERE ARE YOU!?-P Paul's frightened voice burst through our minds like a runaway locomotive. Making my fucking ears pop and start to ring. I come to a stop and shake my head to try and clear the ringing

Fuck Paul did you have to scream!?-E

Dammit Embry where the fuck are you!?-P

About a mile southwest of the Cullens, why what's wrong!?-Q

Paul what the hell is going on!?-S

I...-P He's cut off by one of the most terrified screams I had ever heard in my life.

ALEERA!-P

Fuck! Quil, Embry go!-S

With a burst of speed that would make even a leech proud Quil and I shoot off in the direction of Aleera's scream,

After what felt like a lifetime but was probably only three or four minutes, we burst through the tree line and I let out an ungodly roar at the scene before me. The leech has Aleera pressed tightly to his body and his face buried in her neck. He raises his head and looks at Quil and I a moment before he smiles, showing his teeth that are covered in Aleera's blood. A loud agonizing howl echoes through the forest

I'm going to rip his fucking head off and spit down his fucking throat!-P

Is there anyway you and Quil can get to him without hurting Aleera!?-S

No, he's wrapped around her like a snake on a rat! Where the fuck is Jake!?-E

I'll give you three fucking guesses where the shithead is!-L

He wouldn't!-Q

The hell he wouldn't who else is he going to cry to!?-L

Leah, enough! We have a bigger problem, we need to figure out how to get Aleera away from leech!-S

"Victoria says hello and to tell you that this is your last warning. Stay out of her way when it comes to the Cullen pet or your friend here will die!" An eerie grin comes across his face and he turns her limp body to face us."Damn near already has." A chores of whimpers and snarls echo through my head as we finally get a good look at the girl that I had come to see as my sister and had grown to mean so much to all of us.

She's death fucking white and covered almost from head to toe in blood.

Oh my God! She's dead!-SC

No she's not! Don't say that shit Seth!-L

Look at her Leah!-SC

Seth if you don't shut the fuck up, I swear when I'm done with the leech I'll turn my sights on you!-P

At that moment three simultaneously snarls come from the trees a few hundred yards to my left. I take my eyes off the vamp that has my sister in his vice like grip for just a moment to see who it is and see three of the Cullen coven run out onto the road heading our way.

Yes! Help has arrived! -SC

Shut up Seth!-L

What? They stand a better chance of getting Aleera then we do!-SC

He's right!-S

You can't be fucking serious!?-L

Sam, you dumb sonofabitch! She's covered in blood!-L

Aleera said that her blood has no affect on them!-SC

And what if she's wrong!-L

Dammit will ya shut up! I don't give a flying fuck if King Kong comes bounding out of the trees to help, all I care about is getting my mate away from the fucking red eyed bastard! -P

The leech lets out a dark laugh drawing our attention back on him. And with Aleera still held tightly to him, he jumps onto the top of her truck.

"Well I guess our fun is over.." He takes in a deep breath, shuttering in pleasure as he inhales Aleera's scent. "Pity, I was just starting to have fun." He tosses Aleera to the ground at my feet. "Remember what I said mutts, stay out of our way." He warns once more before disappearing into the trees across the street.

Not giving two shits about my nakedness or the fact that a car could come along at any moment and discover us, I shift on the spot cutting off the loud roars and snarls going on in my head, drop to my knees and gather my sister in my arms.

The blonde female leech, I believe Aleera called her Rosalie and the two males that are with her appear in front of me. She drops to her knees and starts to quickly and carefully check Aleera.

"He bit her, left side of her neck." Rosalie snaps her head up to look at me and the frightened heartbroken look on her face as me momentarily in shock. 'Well shit. I guess Aleera was right, they're really not gonna hurt her.'

"No!" She cries and turns Aleera's head carefully over to reveal a set of teeth marks trickling blood.

"Oh God! Emmett!" The large male vamp is by her side and has her wrapped up in his arms in the blink of an eye. "He bit her! That fuck-nut bit her! Oh God Emmett she didn't want this! What have we done!?"

"Rosalie calm down, Aleera ain't gonna be a one of us." Rosalie jerks herself free from Emmett and turns to the blonde male with a look of shock and disbelief.

"But how is that possible, he bit her!?"

"He may have bit her but he didn't inject any venom into her."

"Are you sure!?" The barbie leech asked with a hopeful look in her eyes.

"I don't smell any venom in her. From what he said this was just a warning, that leads me to believe that he was told to make sure he did not inject her with venom." A loud howl sounds through out the forest and Quil starts to paw at the ground.

"Can we discuss this later!? My sister is bleeding out in the middle of the fucking road, she needs help!" As much as it pleased me to see that the leeches, most diffidently didn't want Aleera to be one of them. There were more important things to deal with, like the fact that Aleera is bleeding in the FUCKING ROAD!

The ringing of a phone brings me back to whats going on in front of me. Barbie stands and takes a couple of steps over to the side. No more than five seconds later she snaps the phone shut and turns back to us.

"Jasper, that was Alice she said Carlisle will be at the house in seven." Jasper nods his head, then without another word he takes my sister from my arms, then with the other two vanish. I pull the shorts that are tied around my ankle loose and quickly slip them on. Quil runs behind Aleera's truck and shifts back, pulling on his cutoff jeans just seconds before a very expensive canary yellow car comes flying by us, blaring the horn as it passes.

Not wasting another moment I climb into Aleera's truck, knocking the glass off the seat as I do. Quil climbs onto the bed of the truck and I fire it up. Knowing exactly where we're going, I race off toward the Cullens

Jacob:

I come sliding to a stop just inside the treeline behind Bella's house, duck behind the largest tree closest to me and shift.

"Fuck!" I yell out and start banging my head against the tree. I can't believe this shit! What the hell happened!? 'Those disgusting bloodsucking parasites happened, that's what!'

The day had started off so wonderful, Aleera had woke me up early and we had, had an awesome thirty minute make out session before she tore herself away from me and dashed into the kitchen to cook breakfast for the two of us and my dad.

After breakfast I'd helped her clean up, gave her a very proper kiss goodbye and ran off to meet up with Leah for my first patrol of the day.

Besides Leah being a tremendous pain in the ass, the patrol had been uneventful. By the time I'd made it back home it was almost time for dinner, so I helped. Okay I watched Aleera make dinner. She had made the best homemade Chicken Alfredo and garlic bread I'd ever eaten, it was so damn good I had four huge helpings of it.

Once we finished I'd sent her to go sit down in the living room, while I cleaned up. I had figured I could get the cleaning done quicker and would have more time with my mate before I had to go back out for yet another patrol. But I was so fucking wrong.

I had barley sit down on the couch when she came at me with the fucking bloodsuckers coming over onto our land for her birthday party. I had tried to dissuade her but nothing I had said worked and I gave in with the knowledge that Sam would dissuade her for me. And then her fucking aunt called. And everything went to hell after that.

Aleera had been so intent on going to get her things, that she had been more than happy to disregard what I said and go off with the bloodsuckers. And that lead to a fight, that lead to some shit I never should have said.

"Jacob? Jacob is that you?"

I look out from behind my hiding place to see Bella standing just a couple of feet out into the yard and a low involuntary growl slips from me. We should be with mate! My wolf snarls angrily at me.

Why? She's got the bloodsuckers she doesn't need us!

Ignoring anything else my wolf may have to say I step out from behind my hide-a-spot and out into the open so she can see me.

"Yeah Bells it's me." She stalks over to me and tries to shove me back.

"Where the hell have you been!? I've been trying to call you for two weeks!"

"I'm sorry Bells something came up and I've been really busy." She crosses her arms and gives me a heated glare.

"So busy you couldn't pick up a damn phone!?"

"Well I didn't think you'd want to talk to me with your precious bloodsucker back in town!" She sighs then without warning she throws her arms around me.

"I've missed you Jake." I wrap my arms around her, despite my wolfs inner snarls and growls.

"I've missed you to Bells and I'm happy you made it back safely." She pulls away from me.

"Yeah but Charlie's pissed, grounded me for eternity plus a day." I grin.

"Don't worry he'll get over it soon enough." She snorts.

"I hope so." She looks at the house then back to me. "You want to come in?"

Giving her a nod I follow her inside. The smell of leech assaults me causing me to scrunch my nose up in disgust. Bella happens to see this.

"Sorry, Alice hasn't been long left." I lift a brow at this.

"You mean the leeches actually left you here alone?" She sighs.

"Jake don't start." I hold my hands up in defense.

"Fine but do you think we can at least crack a window?" She nods, then goes over to the closest window and jerks it open. She then makes her way over to the couch and motions for me to join her. Not thinking twice about it I go over and plop down next to her.

"So what have you been up to?"

"Since I'm grounded, not much. Just school and work. You?" 'Oh nothing much just meeting my imprint is all.' I shrug.

"Not much." A loud howl sounds out in the distance. Bella looks to me through long lashes.

"Do you have to go?" I look out toward the woods for a second, then shake my head.

"Nah, whatever it is I'm sure they can handle it." She gives me a bright smile and scoots closer to me. For reason's only God knows why I open my arms for her and she crawls into them. I wrap one arm around her as she lays her head on my shoulder and lets out a soft sigh.

'Aw hell! What the fuck I'm I doing I have the most beautiful girl in the world as my mate and I'm here with my arms around Bella! Dammit I'm such a fuck-shit, this is the last place I should be, this is the last fucking thing I should be doing! Why did I come here again?' Bella leans her head back and looks at me with those big doe eyes. And I completely forget my inner turmoil.

"I'm glad you're staying, I really have missed you." I smile.

"It wasn't the same without ya Bells." We sit in silence for a few minutes, till another howl rings out through the night. This time it sounded more mournful and full of pain. Bella raises her head up and looks out the window.

"Jake are you sure you shouldn't go, that didn't sound very good." The wolf in me rages at me to find out what the hell is happening but the man in me urges me to stay put, that the girl that I had always wanted was finally in my arms.

"I'll go in a bit, I'm sure it's nothing too bad." She cocks a brow at me.

"Are you sure?" I give her a reassuring smile and nod. She shrugs and lays her head back down.

*NLYG *

Alice:

Racing through Forks, I prayed that the vision I had seen was the future and not the present, but in the back of my mind I knew that it wasn't. I knew that what I'd seen back in Bella's living room was taking place at the time I was seeing it and that there's wasn't a chance in hell I was going to make to Aleera in time to stop it. As I drive I'm hit with another vision.

"Aleera!" The hotheaded wolf bellows as he comes bursting out of the trees, making a mad dash for the house.

"Hold up puppy, you can't go in there right now." Emmett says and blurs over to stand in front of the wolf. With Jasper a half second behind him.

"Let me go to her!"

"As soon as Carlisle comes out and says it's okay I'll let you go."

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY!" The shapeshifter screams as he transforms and lunges for Emmett. As he makes to wrap his teeth around Emmett's throat the silver wolf is hit from the side by one of his own, a gray and black wolf. They roll, biting and clawing at each other back into the trees. A chocolate brown wolf taring off behind them.

Coming out of the vision, I gasp. 'What the fuck was that! I've never gotten a clear vision of the wolves before! I need to talk to Carlisle when things calm down!'

Closing my eyes I let out a soft curse. Great, just great now on top of everything else Paul's going to try and attack Emmett. I swear if I didn't love Aleera like my own sister, I'd put everyone of those damn mutts to sleep! When this is all over I'm going to teach Aleera how to control her damn dogs!

Grabbing my cell from the middle console I quickly dial Carlisle's number. It rings twice before he answers.

"Hello Alice." Foregoing any greeting in return I yell into the phone.

"Where are you!?"

"We're heading home now."

"How long!?"

"Ten, fifteen minutes. Why?"

"Aleera's been attacked and Paul is going to loose it and attack Emmett" I hear him gasp.

"I'll be home in seven."

The call ends and I immediately dial Rose. The call to her was very short. Upon reaching the outskirts of Forks, I floor it. At the speed I'm going it only takes me minutes to get to the sight of the attack and pass two of the wolves getting into Aleera's truck. I blare my horn telling them to hurry the fuck up and come on. Things were about to get sticky and they were going to be needed.

*NLYG *

Jasper:

"Don't ya fuckin' die on me Sailor!" I yell as she begins to shake and jerk in my arms just as we arrive back at the house. I kick open the front door without even slowing and race straight up the stairs to the guest bedroom. Laying her down gently on the bed, I slowly start to peel her blood soaked shirt away from her body. I let a angry hiss as the deep bloody gashes in her side and stomach make an appearance. The one on her stomach starts an inch or two above and to the left of her navel and stops at the hem of her pants. The one on her side begins inches under her breast and continues past the hem of her jeans.

'Shit!'

With a deep breath I rip the left side of her jeans away. The gash stops at her hip.

"Ro,,!" She's in the room before I can even finish her name. She's holding four towels all of different sizes. She tosses me the two largest ones.

"Put them on her side and stomach I'll use these two on her neck and forehead!" I nod and do as she says.

"Jasper are you sure she's not going to be one of us?" I raise my eyes to look at her and she's staring at the bite mark on Aleera's neck looking as if she would be bawling her eyes out if she could.

"Don't worry Rose, Aleera is not going to become one of us today." Alice chimes as she dances into the room.

"Are you sure?" Rose asks while placing one towel on the bite and the other on Aleera's forehead. Alice huffs.

"What ever happened to never bet against the pixie?" A somber smile graces Rose's face.

"I'm sorry Alice, it's just.." Alice holds up her hand stopping Rose from continuing.

"It's okay Rose I understand." Rose nods slightly then turns her attention back to Aleera. Alice comes over and kneels down beside me

"How are you?"

"I'm fine?" She cocks a brow at me. "I'm fine darlin'. You know her blood doesn't bother me."

"It's not the blood I'm talking about." I stare at her for a second before looking back at the bloody towels.

"I'm going to kill the bastard that did this slowly and painfully." I say darkly. Alice caresses my cheek.

"I'd expect nothing less from a brother that adores his sister."

"So it's true?" She nods with a sad smile. Before I can say anymore Carlisle comes rushing into the room. I move letting him take my position. He looks up to Alice.

"Alice, what happened?" Before she answers him she looks at me and says.

"Go downstairs with Emmett. Paul's not going to be happy." I give her a nod and turn to go meet Emmett.
